I can’t even begin to explain how amazing the staff is. My coco just passed away a few days ago. Prior to that you all recommended food for him after he stopped eating. He actually was able to eat again with this recommendation. You all took more time to help me than my own vet. Thank you.

Finding designer food and treats is always a challenge. BUT NOT HERE. Friendly knowledgable staff. Small does not mean incomplete. They have a basement (although customers don't get to go there).

This is one of my favorite places in Philadelphia. The people here are so sweet and helpful, and the store is so adorable and incredibly well stocked for how small and cozy it is.

I'm a new kitten owner & this shop was recommended to me. I understand the new COVID restrictions many stores adopt but my 1st visit here caught me off guard when I was met at the door and was told "we meet everyone at the door & assist our customers this way, that no one is allowed in"(it was said in a very polite tone). I can't argue with someone's policy but to lock the door behind them each time they come back & forth to assist, made me feel untrustworthy, uncomfortable, and a Lil rushed to get my needs out. Again I rolled with the punches because of the COVID restrictions. Undoubtedly I was helped, I showed a pic of the brand I was searching for and was asked was it for a dog or cat. I said cat, my contact info was taken & was contacted a few days later for pickup (it came pretty fast as promised). On the day of pickup, I'm greeted & helped at the door again but it's expected now. I asked about a few other items that I needed, she helps & I pay at the door. I get all the way home to discover that they ordered the wrong food, it was "Dog Food" & not the Cat Food that I needed. I go back to make a return & guess what I see. 2 diff customers in the store at the same time. I asked, but I thought no one could come in. She said, "Oh you can come in if you need to come in"??? I just stared in awe and (In my head I thought.... Like lady I needed to come in, did I need a magic password for u to know this. I wanted to shop for my new kitten & felt as though I couldn't because I was met & left at the door). Anyways, I showed her the error & was refunded, and at that point, I was asked "do you want to come in to do the return??" The nerve of her. My adult feelings were hurt and I hope the shop reads this & adopts a new policy or at least asks customers do u need to come in! I didn't want to correct my order at that point because I will not be returning!

Everyone here is friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. They cheerfully helped me get a dog license, making an extra effort by copying the information from an old version of the application I completed at home onto the newer version of the application in the shop. I received a dog license in 5 minutes. This is much much faster compared to applying on-line or by mail. My dog enjoys visiting the shop, especially since the staff always gives him a small treat!

Very cute local pet shop in west Philadelphia. The staff was super knowledgeable about the different products (things like origin, durability, popularity with pets, etc.). The prices are great, and they can order pretty much anything that's not in stock. An important note during the pandemic: you should place your order ahead, as admission is strictly limited because the store's width poses a challenge to social distancing. Also, there's a very friendly and chonky cat that hangs out there. ????

Great small business that beats large corporation prices. The best part about baltimore pet shoppe is the customer service by the staff. Especially Charley, Kira, Chelsea, and most of all Rebecca. I feel like I'm good friends with all these people and it keeps me coming back. If you shop anywhere else for your pet ownership needs you need to get it together and go where you belong. Baltimore pet shoppe: Where they go so far above and beyond that 4 letters just isn't enough. Most business would of stopped at the first "p". Not this one. World class.

Owners have tons of experience with the products they sell and are very helpful with customers. Order online or call ahead during COVID. Love this little shop. Also depending on the item I've found them to be similarly priced to the big pet stores so if you want to support small business but don't want to go broke doing it, this is your shop!

My favorite pet store ever. The staff are amazing and very helpful specially Chelsea and of course Charlee and karee. The selection is great and can find everything you need, if not they will make sure to have it by ordering. I highly recommend everyone in our great community to support our pet store rather than ordering from Amazon.
