This place is all-around fantastic. Dr McCafferty has been taking care of Pickle and Olive for years now, and they love her!

They are negligent. Administered optional vaccines and failed to give him the core rabies and distemper that were due at the annual exam. I had taken my dog here since he was a puppy, so all his records were available to them. They are not capable of keeping up with the very basics of veterinary medicine. I moved out of the area so simply going back to the clinic was not an option and they knew this. I missed a call from the manager saying they’d follow up by email, but they never did. They are not worth your trust.

We recently switched vets to CPH since it's so close to home. Although it was a few weeks to get our first appointment, I was so impressed with the thorough intake process. We documented some of our dog's triggers when it comes to going to the vet, and all of that was taken into account for his first visit. Our tech, Stacy was WONDERFUL. Our dog is very anxious and scared of strangers which was noted and Stacy handled him perfectly. He didn't bark once with her in the room! We had a number of concerns and questions regarding some recent health issues, and Stacy along with Dr. Ariana Shakory were so so helpful. They answered all of my questions and treated our pup with so much love and care. That night at 10 pm, I received a recap email of everything we talked about written by Dr. shakory which was so unexpected and appreciated. A week later we received an email asking how our dog was doing and if there were any questions or concerns. Overall it's very apparent how much this place cares about their clients. I am just so thrilled to have it nearby!

While there are a couple good staff members, this is a very poorly run clinic. Taking your pet here is putting them at risk of being exposed to low quality and uncaring medicine. There is no doubt in my mind that they repeatedly missed or gave the wrong diagnosis/care advice for our dog that lead to his health severely declining. The front staff are impatient and often downright rude. There are definitely a couple good doctors who know what they are doing, but they are so busy, it is far more likely that the medicine will be rushed and overpriced. NEVER take your pet in for lab work. The lab was clearly struggling to produce accurate results and I very much wonder if they have ever been audited or looked at. Even coordinating the lab testing was a painful and manual process.

Everyone here is amazing. I take both my dog and cat here and every time I leave so happy and SO DO MY PETS! They are amazing and so kind! Even my cat responds so well to the vet and the techs. I appreciate how loving they are and they offer their expertise with ZERO judgment every time! I recommend this spot to everyone, especially when I know they love their pets as much as I do.

I've had a long relationship with this practice, and have never been let down. From my older three dogs and three cats, to multiple foster dogs, and even a bunny I rescued on a sub-freezing winter day (whose owners still bring him there) I have consistently received excellent care from the vets. My newest pup was neutered there and the process, his treatment and recovery all exceeded my expectations.

I called and they first said I could get an appointment for my pet in 2 weeks. I told them it was an emergency then they said it would be over a month. Ridiculous

The entire staff here are super friendly and very helpful. My meow, Finn, was sick the other week and we were able to take him in the same day we called and were in and out with a diagnosis and his medication within an hour.

Update: Can i give 6 stars? Dr. G and the staff were wonderful and so caring with Scout on 3/5/2020 and made her trip to the Rainbow Bridge something that was easy for her and her family. Yes it was hard but they there for us. Now the update as of 7/14 our little dove mini was injured over the weekend i want to so thank Dr Germano and the wonderful staff for helping even with how busy with covid and for putting up with my fiance patrick who has been at wits end in the past three days.. Would recommend this Vet hospital to all in so philly we have never had a bad incident and their caring stands out.. Its also hard to find someone in nearby philly that you can rely on as far as exotics which Dr. G is highly qualified for.

I had to take my one cat in during quarantine. He hasnt had a check up for a while and also had a lesion on his lip I wanted to take care of that just showed up this week. I have a compromised immune system and also out of work. They were very inexpensive compared to others and had an appointment the day after I called. They had a safe curb side pickup and were done with my guy in quick time. I wanna thank all the workers here it means so much to me. Thank you

Whenever something happens to our pets, we always worry and scared. Because we don’t know what’s happened? What we can do? .... when we went to this hospital for checking out new rescue cat , we happy because we knew that our cat in the good hands. I can see how fast the staffs who work at font desk. How sweet and careful all those nurses and how friendly, helpful and professional the doctor. That why help us a lot that not too much worry or break down whatever happened to our pets. I saw a lot of regular clients here who take them pets back here to checking up every year. So I think this the place I will go to for my pets.

Companion Pet Hospital gives amazing care to all of the pets that come in. Staff genuinely cares about the wellbeing of the animals in a way that's unmatched elsewhere. The doctors will even call you off work time to check up on your pets sometimes because they CARE. Also Lisa is a great receptionist :) Their prices are reasonable, I highly recommend taking your pets here!! Oh and they're INCREDIBLY detailed with their reports. A+

I love this pet provider for my dog. The Doctors are wonderful and so are all of the techs. They have always treated my dog great and my dog loves them. But the 1 star is for the groomer. I took my dog to be groomed and before the grooming I was advised that I should give my dog something prescribed by the vet to calm him down. My dog is only a little over a year old and bites when brushed. He was very madded. I really didn't feel comfortable with giving him this. So I gave my dog a benedril which i seen worked. Calmed him down. When I took my dog in and told the groomer what I gave him she was not very nice and was basically yelling at me to never do that again and kept repeated it several times. She made me feel like I was the worse person in the world taking care of a dog. I will never take my dog to be groomed there again.

I was just made to pay for a full check up visit after (by their own admission) I was made to wait for an unreasonably long time in the check up room, with no services rendered. They were not able to do a check up because my cat got more frightened the longer we were there (again, by their own admission, they made us wait for a very long time) but you better believe I still had to pay for their error. Additionally, when I said something about this, I was treated coldly and rudely, and told that maybe I should go to one of the "cheap" vets. It was hard enough to watch my cat be treated poorly, but to feel so dehumanized myself was really horrible.

While preforming a working interview it came to my attention that this is a "green facility ". Apparently that means no paper towels, which means little to no hand washing! A major problem in a hospital environment!!

My cat died on Christmas Eve. I took my cat to be treated for tapeworm, an easily treatable parasite. After Dr. Zemanian gave my cat medicine she threw it up, I called and they told me to re-administer the medicine and she died an hour …

Called champion because our dog passed away they were kind and understanding set up my apt to bring my pet in that day told me I could walk in whenever I was ready gave my family time to morn with our beloved fur baby and we got back her ashes within days. It’s never easy to lose a pet but they made it less painful I will and have already recommended them to friends and family

I’d like to give a warning about Companion. One of the vet techs (Lindsay) there almost ruined my service dog’s working career because of how rough she was with him (completely improper handling, the woman had no idea how a prong collar …

I felt so comfortable and confident in the care here. My cat is scared of other animals so they told us we could call them from outside and wait in the car until a room was ready. My kitty is feisty but they handled her firmly and gently so she could get her shots and nail trim. They explained everything I should be doing for her clearly, and didn't try upselling me or anything on her treatment. I definitely recommend this place!

Everyone that works there is thorough, knowledgeable and friendly. Wish I had taken my cat here years ago instead of recently switching.
