Dr. Leibovitz spent time explaining my cat Naomi's health issues and ways to address them. All staff are knowledgeable and caring. They really love cats! ????

We've been struggling since we moved back to the Philly area to find a good vet for our cat. While she's great a home, she's not an easy patient (lots of hissing, growling, scratching, etc.) and most of the vets we've been to haven't really been able to perform thorough exams because of her temperament. She's getting older though and recently had a health issues that we were concerned about so it was important for us to find a vet that would be able to do a thorough exam. CHCC did not disappoint. Everyone there was so patient with her and treated her with such care. They prescribed a sedative beforehand so the appointments wouldn't be as stressful for her (something no other vet has done for her) and were able to do two exams that I felt were more thorough that any she's had before. She also seemed less stress than she's ever been at vet appintments. Everyone from the receptionist to the vet tech to the vet, were good at explaining things to us, and we could tell they really cared. I'm happy we found CHCC for our cat!

My wife and I brought our new kitten Cyrus here for his first wellness exam. Everybody working there was so polite and helpful. The vet answered all my questions and provided excellent advise for our kitten. He was not stressed at all and everybody was caring and gentle during his exam. I look forward to coming back for all his need and shots. This is going to be our go to vet for Cyrus.

My cat has always been very afraid of the vet, particularly after some difficult medical procedures, and they were very sweet and gentle with him here. They gave him a towel to hide under, and made every effort to make him feel safe.

My daughter was so worried about her cat and these guys were so gentle and kind that all anxiety went out the window. You want a good place to take your loved pet this is the place

We have been bringing our cats here for over 15 years, as it's one of the few vets in the area that specializes in cats and you don't have to worry about mixing your cats with strange and upset dogs in the waiting area. They are a little bit pricey, but not unreasonable, and we think it's worth it for our cats to get the specialized care that they deserve. As long as we continue to live within driving distance and this place is open, we'll keep bringing our cats here.

I have nothing but good things to say about Chestnut Hill Cat Clinic. I had to put my dear cat Bubs to sleep a week and a half ago and CH Cat Clinic was so responsive and caring. I brought my cat into the clinic and they put my sister and I in a separate room with Bubs. They let us take our time with him before and after and explained to us exactly what they were doing during the whole process. I felt like Dr. K really cared and knew my cat. All of the staff was very kind. I've been through this experience before with two of my other pets and I've never felt like I really got the chance to say goodbye properly because it happened so quickly. Thank you CHCC for allowing me to say a proper goodbye.

I was excited to transfer my cats' care to this practice that is closer to my home after receiving positive recommendation from a friend. I was impressed with the Clinic's COVID policies. I was met outside promptly by Jodi who took a history and asked me about my concerns, reviewed the paperwork from my previous vet, and provided me with the necessary paperwork I needed to complete. After such a pleasant start, I was gobsmacked to find myself on the phone with "Dr. K" who peppered the conversation with "I'm not trying to be mean" or "I'm not trying to offend you". If you have to preface your clinical guidance with those phrases you, are indeed, being mean and offensive. The concern I had about my cat having a lipoma was brushed aside in favor of berating me about my cats' weights. I was blatantly accused ("I don't want to say that you are lying") of not having tried alternate feeding methods. I asked if he would write down his feeding recommendations (we were speaking by phone while I was in my car) and was told "I'm not going to write all this down for you - this is why I am talking to you". Keep in mind that this is someone I haven't even met face to face, someone who knows nothing about me or my cats but who very readily displayed the very worst traits a veterinary provider could have. I am a Nurse Practitioner and would never deign to be so disrespectful and cruel to a patient or a family member. I would like to continue to use CHCC because it is a convenient distance from my home. I am hoping that there is another vet that I can see at this practice. Considering that others have had a similar experience, Dr. K should be removed from the practice.

You can tell how much they care about their patients. They aren't condescending. Which is important to me as someone who has had vet tech classes. My cat is always comfortable there. She doesn't always do well stress wise. The way they are handing covid is on point. Made me feel (as a immunodeficience person) very safe.. Theywill be my vet for a very long time. 10 out 10 I recommend

This was the most traumatic experience I've ever had. "Dr. K" (Kirchhofer) belittled me, manhandled my cat, aggressively stepped toward me, insinuated I was a horrible pet owner and ultimately refused to euthanize Catty. I had been in communication with the clinic since last Thursday after I witnessed Catty have a massive seizure during which time she couldn't use her limbs. She is an outdoor porch cat who came to me as a stray about 11 years ago. I've been taking her to the Cat Clinic for about 9 years. I know my cat well and I decided to euthanize after many years and much upset and research because i am worried she may have another seizure somewhere and not be able to get home, or get hit by a car, or get hurt by someone. Dr. Kirchhofer should never put his hands on another animal or deal with a loving pet owner again. He traumatized me and my cat. His behavior was outright abusive. No one should go to the Cat Clinic until he is removed.

These are my cats' regular doctors. I have gone for years. When they suggest a procedure or service needed they are transparent and clear on exactly how much it will cost. When they are more expensive they have no problem with me finding and working with another place that is more affordable. I have found that sometimes they are more affordable than bigger clinics! They are always busy, but never haven't given the time and empathy we need when dealing with our very precious family members. Thanks for your years of amazing sentiment and hard work. My only regret is that I can't believe I haven't written you guys a great review sooner!

I have two cats, one of which is a terror at the vets. I need to preface with that because I'm always skeptical when I bring him to a new place because I don't know how they'll handle him. Some places handle him like a rabid animal and put on special equipment to handle him. But you don't need it. After my second visit here I'm convinced these people know the right way. Naturally I'm protective of him and want him to not be afraid of going to the doctor's. So when I went to the Cat clinic this most recent time and our appointment time was interrupted by them having to clean an examination room because of fleas from the previous cat, they told me they would just take him into the back to do the exam. So of course I was worried about him back there by himself where he couldn't see, hear, or smell me. But they picked up on that right away and told me to come back with him anyway where I know the owners usually aren't allowed. I immediately felt better and so did my cat when instead of putting on gloves they just bundled him up in a towel, gave him lots of pets and let me be near him. He's never been so good and calm for a visit before. These people really care and show it. I'll be continuing to come here without a doubt.

I was happy with them in the past but last visit they refused to sell me the cat food THEY had prescribed for life because they didn't see a current vet exam (although I had sent a report to them). I bought a food online and don't think I will go back.

Chestnut Hill Cat Clinic offers excellent care for feline companions. The vets explain everything they are doing & return calls promptly. The front desk personnel are warm & friendly. The only downside is that it's a bit pricey. On the other hand, this is a case in which you do get what you pay for!

I took my beloved cat (Temah) of 20 years to the Chestnut Hill Cat Clinic to be gently put to sleep .The staff was amazing , caring, sympathetic and very patient. I remember calling to get information about the procedure and to make arrangements , the receptionist was so warm and understanding. She stayed on the phone with me for at least an hour and listened and consoled me while I cried . It was one the hardest thing in the world I ever had to do .They walked with me the entire way, I was allowed to spend as much time as I needed to hold my baby. So loving, so caring and so understanding. I received a sympathy card in the mail not longer afterward, it made me feel good to know that they cared even after my visit. My experience with the Chestnut Hill Cat Clinic ,was that of a peacefu and memorable journey. I'm very happy that I chose the Chestnut Hill Cat Clinic . Vearnessa Whigham

This is the best cat care you can get.We have been with this practice for over 25 years. When we have had the inevitable loss of an elderly cat they treated us with total compassion. We were treated like family, they felt our loss too.
