I had the opportunity to work here for 2 short years.. Unfortunately today was my last day and it’s only because I’m moving out of state. I love all of my Doctors, Coworkers and Clients! I don’t think I ever left a job in tears and felt so much love walking out the door. I’m extremely grateful for all the opportunities they have given me and would never hesitate to recommend them to anyone ❤️❤️

The Veterinarians and Vet Techs at NVH care so much about the fur kids they treat. Although I couldn't get a quick appointment for my dog because NVH is down one Veterinarian, Dr. Bendix called me on a Sunday to find out what was going on with my dog's ears. I knew he couldn't prescribe antibiotics/ear drops over the phone for a possible ear infection because he doesn't know what type she has. But, Dr. Bendix did prescribe an ear wash and cortisone cream, until her appointment. He put me at ease and explained everything in detail. I'm very thankful for Dr. Bendix and NVH.

Took my dog here to get laser treatments because she was having issues walking (just back legs stiffing up but still getting around decent). After her laser treatments she was completely paralyzed, we had to unfortunately put her down after. Do not take your pets here! Very incompetent

Awesome veterinary hospital! Dr. Deforno is amazing - provided quality care for my kitty Charlotte. Entire staff is extremely welcoming & friendly. I would recommend Norwin Veterinary to anyone in the Norwin and surrounding areas!

I had to have my sweet dog put down today! Dr Davis and everyone was so wonderful, compassionate and loving. As hard as it was for me, they allowed me the time to hold him and say my goodbye. His passing was peaceful. I will go nowhere else to have my animals cared for. Thank you for your compassion and love.

Dr. Bendix is very experienced and compassionate and his staff always treats our pets in a professional, caring manner. Highly recommended.

I only began taking my one cat to Norwin Veterinary Hospital in March of this year. I had adopted 2 stray cats and the female cat has had what seemed to me to be a chronic respiratory issue and I had taken her to various other veterinarians that for one reason or another I just wasn't satisfied. I had done some research and Norwin Veterinary Hospital seemed to be quoted as the best around. I have had my cat there 3 times since March and the first 2 times I had a lady vet, sorry I can't remember her name, who treated my cat and I was happy with her and both experiences. The third time I took Baby, my cat, we saw Dr. Bendix who is well known to many pet owners as he has been practicing many years. He told me that my Baby needed emergency surgery or she would not survive. This was on a Saturday and they kept Baby, operated Sunday and I picked her up Tuesday. Dr. Bendix treated her for Pyometra a condition female cats/dogs can acquire when they are not spayed and go into heat. Bacteria enters the uterus and pus and smelly discharge drain from the vagina. My Baby also had several cysts on the lining of her uterus which is also a characteristic of Pyometra. I had always realized the importance of spaying and I had attempted to spay her a few times only to cancel the appointment because of her being too sick with her respiratory issues. My cat is recovering quite comfortably and very nicely at home only because Dr. Bendix and his wonderful and highly competent staff gave her the best medical attention anyone could ever ask for. They really took such great care of my Baby and I will be forever indebted to them. I not only recommend Norwin Veterinary Hospital, I give them an A+++ They are truly wonderful caring people.

I love Dr Bendix and his staff. I have been coming to Dr Bendix for all of my pets, since 1992 (i.e., Duchess, Samantha, Dusty, Bianco, Java, Luke, & Clark, all of whom have gone to the Rainbow Bridge to date), now Manny & Chloe!!! Dr Bendix is a fantastic, compassionate, and wonderful veterinarian. I wouldn't go to any other veterinarian, as long as Dr Bendix, his other vets and staff are still here at Norwin Veterinary Hospital. Thank you Dr Bendix and staff for all your support as I grieve the loss of my sweet Beagle boy, Clark.???????????? Mary Pat

DONT GO HERE! biggest scam, my dog had an ear infection so they give him drugs we told them not to because he reacts bad to it, but the still give it to him then he gets really sick from it and costs us 500 dollars to get medicine to help him get better, when it should of costed 50.

Took excellent care of my German Shepards.... my second was aggressive and dr bendix could still treat him...very caring..

Should not be called an animal hospital if you can't take care of an emergency situation. We were referred by the poison control line to our nearest hospital only to be told they weren't taking new patients when we called. Completely uncompassionate for the animals who need emergency care.

Dr. Bendix is the best around however his staff is rather lacking and RUDE!!!! The receptionist is the most miserable human I have ever encountered.

Thank you all for making my cat your priority today. You all went above and beyond and I am extremely appreciative. Norwin is my new Vet.

After today's experience - I was not happy - mind you I have been a customer for several years and have never had any issues.... And will only go back if I see our normal MD which is Bendix... The tech clipped 2... I repeat 2 of her toes too short which she then bled on the floor after my husky yelping in pain. I was told I was alot allowed in the room with my dog due to social distancing... when I was there not only but a FEW days prior with my other dog and there were no issues of this sort - I was with my other dog and the MD the entire time... now mind you my dog was in PAIN and obviously bleeding and I am just supposed to stand there and was told to "stay back" ... makes sense. Never again except for Dr. Bendix... he is the best and never had any issues.

I've been going there for 5+ years for my dog. My dog has recently been sick and I wanted to get him in ASAP to get checked out before he became dehydrated since he has been having liquid bowel movements for 2 days even on a bland diet. I had to call multiple times just to get someone to pickup. Once I spoke to Joanne she told me the earliest appointment they have open for an emergency is 5 days away. She didn't even recommend any other vets or an emergency clinic. I don't understand how you can be considered a hospital when you can't fit in an emergency appointment for a dog who's not holding down any food and not drinking much water. I decided to call another vet office that I have never been to and was able to receive an appointment within 2 hours of my call. I'm now in the process of getting both of my dog's medical records from Norwin Vets to be transferred since I no longer wish to patronize this business. I have nothing bad to say about the vets or the technicians. I recently moved to the South Hills and was going to keep making the 40 minute trip to go to Norwin Vets but after this last issue with Joanne, I'm finding a new vet that can squeeze a sick pet into their schedule even if I'm paying an emergency doctor fee.
