I can give credit where due: they’ll do a great job of making your pooch look and smell nice. Fabulous job. But, I would caution customers to get a full breakdown of anticipated charges in advance so they’re not surprised at the checkout counter. I was charged a $15 matted fur fee which brought the total to $103 at checkout. The last time I was here, I think I paid about 70 bucks. I have an extra small dog. I might expect to pay $103 for the convenience of having someone come to my home, but even that would be a stretch. Furthermore, it’s not like I presented them with Bob Marley in canine form, either; my dog had three or four small areas that were tangled on her chest which the owner tried to convince me took time away from other dogs because extra special care was needed. The groomer commented on the matted areas when I dropped off my pup but she never mentioned there would be a matted fur fee, and no such fee is mentioned on the brochure. It was not revealed until the owner sprang it on me at checkout. It’s not so much the fee, per se, it’s the principle: be upfront and transparent. You shouldn’t have to resort to such unscrupulous tactics to run a business. Update in response to owner: I’m downgrading from my review of two stars. She's trying to depict me as a negligent owner; again, these were three or four small areas of matting. In every negative review she pushes it off on the reviewer like they're the ones responsible for her misstep. She can't take ownership of any criticism. They have a sign outside the door mandating masks, but she wasn't wearing a mask herself when I came in. I wasn't going to comment on that, but since she's being snarky and trying to make me look bad, I'm mentioning that now. Also, when I picked up my dog there was a lot of loose hair coming off on my shirt. I expect a clean dog when I dropped her off after $100 haircut, not a mess rubbing off on me. Again, they didn't tell me there would be a fee for matted fur. Even if it was too early to tell what that fee would be, they failed to say that there would be one, period. This is nothing less than sheisty unprofessional tactics commensurate with what you'd get from a dealership mechanic.

Incredibly disappointed by the customer service at Blue Pooch. The groomer insisted that I book all of my dog’s appointments in advance (when I said that doesn’t work for my schedule). There was never a follow up or a reminder call, and when I brought my dog in, I was charged double the price for a “no show” — $180 for a 7 pound maltisse just to be washed (no cut, just wash)!!!! Insanity!!

Despite my warning them, they shaved our doggie too closely and caused her about 10 days of severe discomfort. I called to ask for advice to help mitigate the problem two days later, but the girl who answered said that it was normal and even she felt discomfort after shaving. One of our neighbors told us about a similar experience with their dog, but other neighbors still like them, so we could have just had an unfortunate experience. Also, I feel their grooming service is unusually expensive for what they do. On the positive side, they do not hold the dogs in crates and all grooming is in the open.

I have a 12 year old rescue dog. He has major trust issues. I call him “ special needs “. I have been tossed around for two years by different groomers because no one can or wanted to handle him. I reached out to Blue Pooch. The owner assured me that her staff will be able to groom my dog. They offer 730 am appointments before they even open to help dogs that suffer with anxiety to be in a calmer environment. My dog has been there two times so far and they have done a great job! I am so thankful and grateful for finding Blue Pooch! It is so adorable in there too! Everyone has been so.. and understanding! ❤️ My Ransom has finally found his groomers!

Best grooming my Ana ever had! This grooming shop is a happy, clean, cheerful space, with happy dogs, and staff that obviously love their jobs. Being an older dog, Ana isn’t the easiest to groom, Stephanie did a great job. When I came in to pick Ana up after being groomed, she was busy visiting with the other dogs, she had a big smile on her face. We have finally found our grooming home!

We loved how the haircut came out, however the next morning at 4:10am my pup Nova threw up. Then when I took her out she had loose stools/diarrhea. She has still continued to have diarrhea 4 days after the grooming. We decided to try this groomer because we know people who's dog come here. Most likely won't be back. Her appointment was at 10:30am and we didn't get called to pick her up until 3:30pm.

Such a well run establishment! My 2 dogs were able to make friends in a safe environment while waiting their turn to be groomed! They smelled nice and fresh and stress free. Stephanie was amazing with her work and did every service as I asked!!!

A really great place to get your dog groomed. The staff is friendly and that's a really nice job. Even with my dog who is very scared.

Very unreliable. We had an appointment, showed up on time but they made up a story about calling us to reschedule to a date which already past. Ridiculous I say!!! I had good expectations waited patiently for 3 weeks for an appointment but very disappointed. I also think they did it on purpose.

I was able to get my yorkie in within a week, they are so accommodating! My little Rambo looks so incredibly handsome! Caitlyn did an excellent job grooming my little bad boy! He looks like he should be a puppy model! And I know how much he hates being brushed and having his nails filed, so I’m amazed at the patience the staff had. I highly recommend and we will definitely be back. Thank you Caitlyn for an amazing job!

I love Blue Pooch! Caitlin is super accommodating and GREAT at what she does- as is the whole staff. My dog Tucker is pretty attached to me so being left at the groomer is not his favorite thing. Blue Pooch definitely makes it as pleasant as possible for him and I know he's in great hands.

We had a great experience with Blue Pooch Grooming. My bernedoodle is a big boy and I wasn't sure how well he would behave with a bunch of strangers. The staff here was patient with him and said he was very well behaved. He was all trimmed up, even his nails, and came home looking (and smelling) very good. I just made another appointment so he can get spiffed up again- worth every penny.

First time I took my dogs here and it’s the best they have ever looked after a grooming appointment! They also have excellent customer service! Highly recommend! I will be taking them back for sure!

So glad I finally found a great place to take my dogs for grooming!

The owner is always there overseeing the groomers and dogs. The dogs are not crated if they behave so they can walk around the shop. The place is very clean and friendly. My dogs always come out beautifully groomed. The owner will also call me right away if anything is wrong, like a skin rash that I didn't see under all dog's coat.

Great place to get your dog groomed. Always a pleasure to see people doing what they like best. Place is very cute and clean. My dog loves going there for the social aspect. A little pricey but worth the beautiful pet when done

By far the best environment for all dogs! They took their time and care with my dog Jax. He warmed up right away and loved being able to play around with the other dogs being groomed. Not once did I question his safety or well being. He was pampered from noes to tail. All breeds welcomed it what drew me in, being a rescue pitty owner. He left tail wagging and so clean :) I love this place and will definitely go there again!

Very attentive & caring staff! I looked into so many dog groomers in the area before choosing Blue Porch, & I’m so glad I picked this one. My dog was very nervous and skittish when I dropped him off, and he was all smiles and wagging his tail when I came to get him, which is always a great sign and means he was very well taken care of! WHAT A WONDERFUL JOB THEY DID ON MY PEKINGESE BRUTUS. HE HAS TONS OF HAIR. HE FELL INSTANTLY IN LOVE WITH CAITLIN AND I WAS MORE THAN PLEASED WITH THE RESULTS. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND BLUE POOCH. THEY OWNERS ARE SO ACCOMMODATING AND SO NICE. THE PLACE IS BEAUTIFUL

They did an amazing job on my little cavapoo, Leo! I switched groomers so this was his first visit and I'm always nervous but this was his BEST cut in almost 2 years! Thank you for taking such good care of him- can't wait to come back!
