My family has been using Monroeville Pet Hospital and using Dr. Oster as our vet for 25+ years. If you are looking for a new vet, Dr. Oster would be the ONE AND ONLY vet we would recommend! They are always our first choice no matter if we have to get one of our 3 English Cocker Spaniels dogs neutered (when they were a puppy) ,have to get bloodwork, have to get an x-ray because they hurt themselves the night before, or just a -normal check up, ect- Monroeville Pet Hospital is ALWAYS there for us and the dogs (more importantly). Our dogs aren't terrified to go to the vet because everyone there is always making sure YOU AND YOUR DOG(S) (or cat) are as comfortable as possible even in the worst of situations. We've unfortunately had to put down 4 dogs throughout the 25+ years of going to Monroeville Pet Hospital. It couldn't have gone smoother for a very sad and difficult time. they let the family come in and say goodbye, let us sit with them while they do everything(if you want to), gave us enough time to say goodbye, and was always respectful of our feelings and the situation each and everytime. If you need a vet this is the place to go! You can really tell everyone here is committed and truly cares about your animal and what they do!

This place is incredible. I take all three of my dogs here and every vet I've spoken to as well as the staff that works there has been tremendous.

Recently moved to the area and found this pet clinic on a recommendation and so glad we did. They are compassionate, friendly and thorough. We will be taking our 7 cats here permanently!

I am a long time client of Dr Oster. She has always been very good with my pets. But I am very hurt. I had to have one of my beloved dogs put to sleep. It is an extremely difficult thing to go through. In the past when I had to deal with this kind of situation cost was never brought up during the procedure. This time I was asked if I wanted to pay now or later. In the middle of my tears I said I would take care of it later. Within a few minutes the tech came back in and told that payment needed to be made first. Did I have a credit card with me. Still crying I said it was in my car. She took my keys and got my credit card. The procedure did not start until the card had been paid. I still sat crying with my poor little dog. As I said I have been a longtime client always paid never a problem. I was so upset by the entire incident that I will not be returning. I could understand if I had never been there but this experience was totally unexpected unnecessary and very cold.

Run! They charged me for things not necessary and when I asked for a cleaning and extractions of my cats teeth they said wasn’t necessary after I have received numerous quotes of him needing a Grade3 of not a grade 4 cleaning. They said they would do a cleaning for 509.00 for a 10 min cleaning. This place is a joke. 480.00 for tick medication in the middle of December, office visit times two kitties and unnecessary blood work. Mind you I dropped off my cats for a dental consultation. The doctor here Does not know what he is doing and w their curbside I really wonder if they even looked at my cats at all. Oh and 20.00 to clip their nails ???? ... avoid at all costs!!!

Dr. Oster is the best! She thoroughly explains everything and takes amazing care of our fur babies. The staff is also super friendly and has been able to get our pups in right away when we’ve run into trouble.

So nice to us and our kitty and was affordable. I will continue to bring her here it was a very great experience.

They seem to really care for the animals. Have been going there for about 10 + years and have never had a bad experience. They are very sensitive and thoughtful when a pet passes as well.

Very good care and accurate diagnosis without pushing clients to pay for things that are not nessassary. They treat their clients with respect.

Best vets ever. They treat your pet like they are the most important thing in your life. (Which to most pet parents They are). Will call and check on them. I which I could find a doctor's office for myself as great as they are.
