They were very courteous. Was in and out very quickly. The tech I had was great! I wish I would have gotten her name. Dr. was very knowledgeable, handled my pet with a lot of care . You can tell she really enjoys your job. Which is really good obviously. The exam room is clean. Rob

Met with Dr. McGibney for my 9 year old Maltipoo. Was very pleased with how her and the staff treated her. She took the time and answered all my questions and concerns. I have been going to Aston Veternary for over 20 years! Staff at the front desk were also very friendly! A lot of new faces but very professional!

I’ve had two very mixed experiences with this practice when my animals got sick and needed care. And that is the gold standard for a vet practice - will they be there when you need them. I thought it would be helpful to share my experiences. I have a senior dachshund that was having shaking episodes. Turned out he was experiencing back pain - the veterinarian we saw was knowledgeable and recommended a successful plan for treatment. She was very kind and caring toward me & my dog. I had a great experience with Aston’s care for my elderly dog. Fast forward a couple of months and our 1 year old male cat had a urinary blockage that we rushed him to an ER as recommended by Aston. After diagnosis with FLUTD but no blockage - we were sent home with meds and told to follow up with our local doc. When I called Aston to follow up - I needed someone to check the fullness of my cat’s bladder and discuss the treatment options: I was refused treatment by the front desk. The woman I spoke with on the phone told me that even if they had an appointment available (which they didn’t) that they would not see my cat because they do not have the capability to treat emergent cases (the situation was no longer emergent). I was told that I needed to do any follow up care with the ER vet (40 minutes drive and $$$$). She would not even let me talk to a veterinarian or tech for advice. So I called up the ER vet, and was again told I should be following up with my local vet. Since this condition can be stress linked - the ER vet did not want me putting my cat in the car for a long drive unless he was not urinating and his bladder was full and hard. The ER vet was shocked that my local doctor wouldn’t see him. The ER vet gave me some prescription food and my kitty’s condition resolved in a few days. I did receive a phone message from my cat’s doctor at Aston about a week after sending an email complaint. She offered to speak with me about my cat’s condition. By then, I had already found him a different doctor who is knowledgeable about this condition, prescribed special food, and recommended a plan of care. So, for me, this place is a mixed bag. Maybe this practice is bad with cats and great with dogs? Maybe client experience is dictated by who is working the front desk? I definitely had one very negative experience with one great experience with them when my animals were sick. I’m still undecided as to whether I’ll keep my other animals at this practice.

Aston Vet professionals are very capable. They ask questions, provide insight and afford options so that there are no surprises. They have cared for our family of pets for the past 15 years!

All my Pets have been here and they have always been very kind and explained everything along with pricing before doing it. I recently had to have my beloved sidekick to sleep and they were amazing. Kind, caring and took amazing care of my fur baby in the last moments of his life. I would 100% recommend them.

Aston Vet went above and beyond to care for my cat. I took my cat to a different vet a few months ago & they didn't notice & didn't address my cats ears. Even though my cat was seeing Aston Vet for an unrelated problem they took care of her waxy ears AND explained why they were that way (enlarged glands!). They truly take their time & care for the WHOLE pet - they don't just try to get you in and out the door. Thank you Aston Vet. My cat is feeling much better, thanks to you!

The staff is wonderful. Was able to get an appointment right away for my dehydrated doggy. Dr. Brzezinski was great with my 16 year old Westie Nate. Hydrated him, placed on diet suited better for him. Thank you to everyone at Aston Veterinarian Hospital
