Force pet owners to wear masks to have pets seen by vet.? Ridiculous! It is just the flu and if you do your own research you will find this is govt control, and they are lying about the numbers and severity. Taking our constitutional rights away. If someone actually thinks these masks help, wear one. I know they don’t, so I choose not to wear one.

Office staff very friendly and professional. Veterinarians are caring and experts at providing the best care possible. 11 year client and have always been pleased.

This is not my vet. I called to see if I could buy prescription food that I’m having a hard time getting from our normal supplier. This vet is listed as a retailer on the food manufacture’s website of the particular brand we use. We have used alternative foods but now the alternatives are out of stock. The pandemic has created a lot of issues for a lot of people and businesses. The script is current, but this place of business wouldn’t consider allowing me to buy because of policy to only sell to clients. That strikes me as very uncompassionate considering the circumstances.

While the vets are excellent, we had an issue getting my dog seizure medication that he was out of. After an office visit and informing them we needed it right away, it wasn't called in for hours. We called to see what was the deal and they told me they usually need 24 to 48 hours to call prescriptions in - Absolutely Ridiculous. Unacceptable. Yeah we will call in the meds in a day or maybe two. Make sure you get the script in your hand folks. Take it to pharmacy yourself. A day or maybe two!

I've been going to Winding Hill for about 3 years, ever since we needed a second opinion for our sick kitten. Even though they couldn't help him, I felt more heard by Dr. Venier than I had in the previous weeks with our old vet. She truly wanted what was best for him. When I brought my animal reactive dog to them, no one judged her for having to wear a muzzle. They all loved on her and helped me make sure the coast was clear to keep her and the other pets safe. I absolutely love this clinic. They work so hard to help our animals, and they've never judged me when a procedure wasn't in my budget. I'm so impressed by how they've handed the Covid crisis too. My cat got and exam, Xrays, and two shots in about an hour while I sat in the car in the AC, and the poor techs ran around in 90+ degree heat. I am so grateful to all of them and how well they care for my pets. Thank you!

I’m an unexpected first time puppy owner and I LOVE this vet! They were so patient and kind. On my first appointment For 12 week shots I showed up with a puppy that had the trots. They answered all of my MANY questions and assured me I was doing just fine in my puppy rearing. Dr. Hartman and the techs are the BEST!

My girlfriend and I found a stray kitten crying in a bush on July 3rd. We scooped her up and took her in for a couple days while we figured out what to do with her, as we unfortunately could not keep her. Our major concern was that this kitten was sick, evidenced by an issue where part of her jaw was showing permanently. After calling around multiple places in the following days, most places were unavailable for immediate care. We called Winding Hill Veterinary Clinic and they had a full schedule but were able to squeeze us in given the circumstances. Long story short, they were able to take in this beautiful kitten and help us find a home for her when no one else was able to. The staff was all around exceptional. "Compassion and Commitment" certainly rings true in this instance.

My mini poodle always gets excellent care when she has a problem and routine exams go well.

I cannot say enough about the compassionate care we received from Dr. Patricia Gabig. Our dog had chronic vomiting issues that Dr Gabig had been trying to figure out. We moved to another state, and our dog got a procedure that made the diagnosis, but unfortunately she got sick after the procedure (anesthesia etc). It was a weekend and we could not reach the doctor that had done the procedure. In desperation we emailed Dr. Gabig, who not only responded on a Sunday, but gave us recommendations for what medication we could give our dog to help her symptoms. Our dog is better and I am so grateful that Dr. Gabig took the time to respond to a desperate family, who weren't even her patients anymore and were living in another state. God bless her and everyone at Winding Hill.

They take care of all my animals for love and care. They take the time to explain what is wrong as well so u can make an educated decision for your pets.

Winding Hill has been our vet since the 70s. We will continue to bring our pets. Phone conversations are always friendly and professional. Appts. are made in a timely manner. Our last pandemic visit was with Dr. Veneer. She took the time to speak with me on the phone and answer all my questions. This is a very caring veterinary clinic.

Great with education and treatment

I have been taking my dogs to Winding Hill for many years now and we always receive the most outstanding care. From the phone call to make the appointment, the appointment itself, all the way through the check out, everyone we interact with treats us like the only patient there! The TV show MASH had a sign that read "Best care anywhere" - Winding Hill could hang that sign!!!

The techs were very professional and compassionate about my pets. That is very important to me as they are considered my kids! The vet was thorough in her explanation. I want to be reassured that when my pets leave my car for their appointment that they are being takin care of and Winding Hill vet and techs have assured me they are! Thank you!

While the care is very good, they still aren't permitting owners in the building. I find this frustrating, but apparently the office manager is over cautious. Other vets have been permitting owners inside, and I can see my physician face-to-face, but not here. When that changes here my rating might increase.
