Boarded our puppy here for a week while we were on vacation. Tried to call several times while away to checkin him. No one answers the phones! Left a message for some to call me and no one ever returned my call. The woman at the front desk was very rude when we dropped him off. When we returned to pick him up, there was another rude woman working the front desk. I mentioned that I had called several times and left a message to have someone call me and that no one did. She said she would make a note if it but never apologized. They brought our puppy out to us and never even mentioned how he did. It was like they were happy to see us go. Needless to say we WILL NOT be back!!

Nice, friendly bank with hours open 7 days a week. (Except today. Ha ha.)

Is this place still in business? Trying to board my dog who has been here numerous times in the past - no one answers the phone (that's not new), no one returns messages left on the Reservations Mail Box, tried emailing (tried and true in the past) again, no reply.

Beautiful, clean, well-run facility. The head trainer Mary is incredibly knowledgeable and her appreciation for dogs shines in every interaction. I can't recommend Mary and What a Good Dog enough!

I wanted to give this place a try. My neighbors recommend this place and my dog's friends come here. Starting with the day of my dog's evaluation, it was very difficult communicating with the staff. No one answers the phone, no one returns messages and everyone seems frantic and busy elsewhere when I arrived. I finally got him evaluated and made a recurring reservation which was confirmed by 2 people and an email. When I arrived, the staff was again disorganized, not answering the phones and couldn't find my reservation. I pointed this out in a friendly way to the staff. I got a call later in the day stating there were no openings for my dog on a weekly basis, "they were full". Moral of the story... Buyer Beware - If you use this place, be sure to overlook basic business organization, common curtesy in explaining pricing and policies, and pander to their ego by singing their praises...or you too will find that they are "full".

Awesome place for our dog, they really take good care of him and treat him like family. However they really need to improve their ability to answer phones. you call and no one every answers, or that is how it seems. They must improve on this.

Absolutely a wonderful facility with a caring, knowledgeable, professional staff. I’ve never sent my dogs to any day care or boarding but completely trust this group.

Best place for training your dog, my wife and I have 2 dogs and they both have gone here. Mary and Gail are 2 of the best trainers we could have possibly had. We tell everyone about What A Good dog. Thanks again

WAGD has come a long way. They are organized and responsive. Our pup always comes back happy and healthy. We have been customers since they opened.

These people know dogs. No prong collars or E-Collars to control your dog, and yes we have a high energy dog who is a German Short Haired Pointer. They take a completely positive approach to helping us engage with our family members. You will not only learn to train your dog but you will learn the psyche of the dog, how they think, how they behave and why they do what they do.Hands down the Best training program I have ever encountered. If your dog needs training go to the place that truly understands dogs!

Love WAGD & so does Foster. Employees are so helpful and always ready to make suggestions and listen when there is a question about your dog's behavior. They also are loving & caring toward all the dogs.

This place is absolutely amazing. It's far more than a daycare for dogs. They have training for every need you could possibly have with your dog. My daughter trained her service dog there with them herself. They also have huge Hearts the owner was amazing more than I can say but they were extremely kind to us and I'd recommend them to anyone

Hands down, you won't find a better place to board your dog for overnight stays or for day care. My dogs have been going here for years and LOVE it!

They took the time to get to know my dog prior to his boarding. Everyone on the staff seemed to really care for the dogs and were great to deal with.

We had such a wonderful experience when our dog stayed at What A Good Dog, we recommend their services to everyone. While the location is a bit off the beaten path, we found the property to be in wonderful clean shape, the people who work there super friendly and caring, and they gave our dog personalized service. You could tell that the people there really enjoy what they are doing. They were accommodating to our schedules and helpful when we needed to reschedule. The best!

It's so nice to have a place for my dogs where I don't have to worry about them. Good opportunities for exercise and controlled socialization. They probably preferred to stay rather than come home!

The front desk staff is extremely rude; when my dog was a puppy he had a lot of energy and when we would bring him in everyone would be very passive- aggressive and made it clear they disliked my dog. The fee increases are absolutely ridiculous. I could get my dog a hotel room at the Hilton for the price I paid for one night.

Don’t board your dog here unless you want them to get abused. As I was pulling away I saw staff members throwing what looked like a small dog into a yard with stones..? That was the 2nd and last time I took Stella to what a good dog. My first experience wasn’t pleasant either. I heard a staff member yelling at another staff member and soon after a girl stormed out of an office crying. It makes me sick to see and hear how these people treat their employees and people’s pets. These aren’t just are pets they are our children. Worst dog kennel I’ve ever been to. Honestly I’d rather leave my dog home alone.

I owe these guys my life, honestly and truly. They helped me get my pup certified and his companionship has helped my physical and mental health tremendously.

We ❤️ What a Good Dog! When Max was younger he used to stay and loved the playtime and love from the staff! Now he goes in for a groom with Alex. She is the most wonderful groomer, she’s so sweet and truly enjoys what she does! We can’t say enough great things about What a Good Dog and Alex the groomer????

I went for a tour through this kennel a few weeks ago, and I wouldn’t board a hamster here. Not only did everything stink like urine, I noticed how the employees looked miserable. If the employees look like they would rather be anywhere else but there, what kind of care are your dogs really receiving? I wouldn’t let the flashy facility mask what problems could lurk under the surface.

All of our pups have been at and through WAGD. The day care team is great to assess each dog and figure out the right socialization for each. Everyone is not place in a general area for play. Our 1 is high energy and she has a standing group with which she plays. Our oldest doesnt like a lot of dogs around so he tends to be in a separate area with few if any dogs. They take into consideration their temperament, age, size, etc. Boarding and training services are also top notch. The staff knows the differences between our 3 dogs and it's been a godsend to help foster socialization in one and burn energy for another.

We LOVE this place! Their hands-on approach and genuine care for the animals is priceless. I feel confident that when I drop Riley off for either day care or boarding, he is in good hands! Can't say enough good things about this establishment and staff!

Our dogs love it here. We tend to leave them for a couple of weeks every summer. I always get updates on how they are doing. Last summer, one of my dogs wasnt eating well and losing weight. What a good dog team called me and we figured a way to change that. They take good care of them; weight and health check everyday. well done! Quite pricey though especially when you need long stays.
