Dr. Jennifer MacLeod and her surgery staff saved our dog Mona's life, twice. There is loads of genuine care, compassion, and competence at BluePearl. Words cannot express how grateful we are for extra time with our beloved family member!

glowing recommendation - having visited approx 10 different vets and animal hospitals in NJ PA and NY, bluepearl in PA stands out head and shoulders above the rest- vets with excellence in their expertise backed up with amazing communication skills with clients, the nurses and the back up staff are all incredible - efficient cheerful helpful - everything is done smoothly and in a timely fashion - our dog received absolutely excellent care for two complex situations special mention of Dr Eagleson and Dr Etish for absolutely first class care, expertise, communication and care - they set the gold standard I have to add a special shout out to all the amazing staff in the reception area - we have been at blue pearl so many times over the years and EVERY time the staff are incredible - the atmosphere is so positive - they are all multi tasking under pressure and they do so with such a positive attitude - so caring attentive and efficient - absolutely love it

When my usual vet couldn't help me because of covid related staff issues, the staff at BluePearl were professional, compassionate, understanding and there for me as I said goodbye to my cat friend of 18 years. I am so thankful for them. <3

Haven’t visited blue Pearl but my dog got sick & it was such a relief knowing their open 24 hours! Really took stress of my shoulders & when I called, the female that answered sounded very professional & accommodating! You guys rock!

DO NOT BRING YOUR BELOVED PET HERE OF YOU CARE ABOUT THEIR WELL BEING!!! They turned my dog away!!! They were NOT busy at all (only one other car in the driveway) and my dog is in pain to the point where when I touch him he winces in pain. He can't walk and they still REFUSED to even give him an x-ray. To top it off I spoke with my neighbor and she said she had the same exact experience and she had to refuse to leave in order to at least get an x-ray.

I had to put my 16 y.o. cat down about 2 weeks ago. I paid almost $600 for the euthanasia service and individual cremation. I picked up the ashes today and found out that the papers and the box have some other family name. Now I am not even sure that I have the right ashes. Loosing a fiend is devastating, but BluePearl managed to make this experience even worse (at my expense).

My cat had a urinary blockage this morning and On a Sunday this is the only place open. They took him In immediately and within minutes the nurse came out to talk to me to let me know he did have a blockage and asked for permission to treat. Afterwards she told me the Dr will call me and sure enough Dr. Morris called soon after to inform me of his condition, causes and prognosis, and treatments as well as risk factors associated. She was very thorough and kind. The receptionists were all friendly and all interactions with others that I observed were friendly as well. They were very quick and efficient, the facility was clean. Any negative reviews must have been on bad days when staff was not as full I’m guessing. Unfortunately that can happen, and I was worried I would run into this same problem when I arrived, but luckily that was not the case at all.

What a complete disappointment and waste of time. Although the staff was pleasant enough, this facility did nothing to help with a serious problem with my 15 year old dog’s coughing/gagging attacks suffered more than a dozen times a day. He is stable until he is in complete distress and seemed he wouldn’t survive. Two such episodes happened a few hours ago. I spoke to one of the staff members before traveling 30 mins to the facility and thoroughly explained the situation. I was assured I’d be seen and get the X-ray we need to determine what is causing these extreme episodes. I was told they weren’t busy and we should have no problem being seen in a reasonable time-frame. Because my dog wasn’t deemed an emergent problem, I was told he could be kept in a crate and seen by a doctor several hours later when they could fit him in. There were hardly any people/dogs in the waiting room at the time I was told this plan. Buyer beware of what you’re told over the phone and what happens when you arrive. Other vets in the area told me they were booked out 3-4 weeks and couldn’t see my dog. I hope he lives long enough to get him to his usual vet in western New York in 10 days time. Very disappointed in the overall options in this area for an animal in need.

Last week I brought my dear Cavalier King Charles Chloe. For three days the world class doctors and specialists did there very best for my girl. They were compassionate, understanding and clearly experts in their field. I want to thank everyone at BluePearl who helped my Chloe. Unfortunately we lost our precious pup but not without the skilled efforts of this incredible veterinary hospital. This week we received a beautiful heart felt not from the doctors at Blue Pearl, a lot more than Chloe’s regular vet ever did. Thank you.

I had to bring my cat here because she just stopped eating. They were very friendly and professional. They explained everything very well. I felt that my cat was in very good hands h.

Horrible place! I went there last night for my dogs emergency and they told us to wait in the car i told them my dog is scared she needs a familiar face and i coildnt even go to the back room with her! They can be doing anything to your pets and you wouldnt even know! Got updated by the veternarian over the phone with upsetting news about my dog while im outside!!! Atleast have the heart to have me next to my fur child in her time of need.

This place is a nightmare now. They make you wait hours for everything even a quick med pickup. Don't call and say meds are ready just to make people wait an hour. In addition, My dog was turned away before when he was bitten by another dog because apparently it wasn't "serious" enough. That's even on top of making us wait over an hour just to tell us that. Turns out the other place that we went to took him right away and said he should've never been turned away cause it was infected and he ended up needing surgery. Never take your pet here. Avoid at all costs

I didnt like the vet I asked her if anything Natural to help dog Her response Im a doctor I believe in svience. So her only treatment was to MEDICATE. Smh Im NOT an immediate fan of DRUGS I know tooooooo many people who went to doctors who ONLY believed in medicating. A lot didnt work out well

Worst experience of my life!!!! I got there and my guinea pig was having a terrible seizure and when I pulled up I was crying and begging for help. I was turned away and denied any form of help and on my way to the mount laurel vet which was roughly 30 minutes away, my girl suffered another major seizure and died in arms. I don't know if she could have been saved, but she was alive in the bluepearl parkinglot and she was shaking and then was dead before we ever got over thr bridge. Im so upset. Even if you don't treat exotic animals, a little decency would have been appreciated as I was holding ber for screaming and begging for help.

When this office was VSEC it was an awesome place. Now it takes hours or DAYS to even speak to someone to schedule an appointment. Either they are overrun or don't care. Not sure which.

Tonight our little Maltese, Bailey, swallowed a hair scrunchie. We took him right over, where they saw him right away and induced vomiting so they could get it out. They were so caring and compassionate during what was an extremely stressful situation. Thank you so much!! Would HIGHLY recommend.

Great staff and service when you are there, but the follow-up, not so much. We had our dog Euthanized on September 10th and were told a week for his ashes. Today is September 22nd and we are still waiting to bury our fur baby. Since this initial post we have received our fur babies remains. The urn the put him in as well as his paw prints were beautifully done and finally gave us the closure we needed.

Blue pearl took my boy in almost instantly and helped us get answers and a proper diagnosis! We went to a different place before and left feeling hopeless and we just knew we needed another opinion. Blue pearl was that amazing life changing opinion! Amazing staff, super nice and reassuring and informing.

They keep you on hold for 30 minutes, then when they pick up they place the phone on the counter without saying anything and let it sit for 10 minutes before hanging up.

All I’m going to say is, my cat was in stable condition when I brought him in but when I checked him out he died a hour later. Kikaka sa Mounsal!

We have taken our pets (2 dogs, 2 cats) to VSEC/Blue Pearl multiple times over the past 5 years. Every time we bring one of them to Blue Pearl, we receive the best advice and care for our animals. Every vet we have worked with (and it has been several, from surgery to dental to emergency) has been totally knowledgeable, professional, and kind. Support Staff is generally kind and helpful as well. I trust Blue Pearl completely to give my animals the best care and to do everything they can to keep our animals healthy. You will definitely pay more here than at a regular vet's office, but the service is better and you can get procedures done much faster, and with pet insurance the cost difference is minor anyway. I highly recommend Blue Pearl if you need a specialist's opinion or can't wait to get in with your primary vet.

I took my senior dog Macho he had a seizure and with several underlaying issues. The were incredible!! The took him back immediately. The staf are phenomenal, the care he received was exceptional. Unfortunately despite the best efforts I had to make the difficult decision to euthanize him. Macho was with me for 13 years and i was devasted but the staff from the receptionist to his Doctor were compassionate, sympathetic and amazing. They treated him with dignity and love and allowed me time with him and for his last moments to be in my arms. They comforted both him and I . They truly care for the animals they treat. They even sent a handwritten sympathey card to our family. I love the staff and highly recommend this facility

Dr. Morris needs to rethink her career. She doesn't have any compassion for the pets and family that she is supposedly treating. I have now been waiting for 4 days for test results. She let my dog suffer for hours instead of telling me earlier that she wasn't going to make it. I will never take another pet there or recommend this place to anyone. This is just a money factory. Doesn't even rate 1 star.

All I can say is I don't believe my cat was dying prior to getting to the hospital. I am not a Vet and don't know that for sure, but knew my cat very well. I had a diabetic cat that didn't have his glucose checked for approximately 10 hours after a serious incident where he was unable to breath. I see they check records on these reviews, that's what they should do. I suppose I should have requested to have his glucose checked. Entirely to much went on to try and post everything here. Obviously nothing said here can change what happened. I can only express my displeasure and left with questions. I have read your response to my post asking me to please call to discuss the records. I called the same day your response was posted leaving a detailed message explaining the reason for my call. I was informed someone would call back within 24 to 48 hours and it has now been 5 days. Do to no response my one star review remains the same.

Called before I headed to this location asking if they were accepting new ER clients. I was told that they where and to just head on over. I arrived within 12 minutes and did curbside check in with a woman who took all my information and the issue my dog was having. She told me to park. I waited 10 minutes and a very nice girl comes out and asks me what issue my dog is having. I explain it again and she regretfully tells me that there is an 8 hour wait for my dog to be seen by a vet. Really? I spoke to 2 people before her and no one thought to pass that information along? Instead of wasting my time going there I could have gone somewhere else.
