My poor girl had a fractured leg, the vet suggested a cast and went over surgical options as well. She and the receptionist were so informative and answered all of my questions! Unfortunately, a couple of days later I made a really big booboo and got her cast wet. I brought her back and they were able to replace it. I’m so thankful for the team at crown veterinary specialist! They’re absolutely wonderful! Thank you again!

After our pup fractured his back leg, he had difficulty weight bearing on the leg and lacked strength and range of motion. This facility has a wonderful physical therapy department with lead PT Amy who gave a thorough exam with the help of Kate, another PT. All were caring and skilled working with our pup. He received a lazer treatment to hip muscles and experienced the underwater treadmill and whirlpool with Beth. So grateful for the gift of experts and to help get our pup back to optimal health.

We brought in our little girl with some really alarming issues early the other morning and all of the staff were incredibly kind and helpful. Dr. Fromzel was amazing with Zoe and we are so thankful for Crown Vet

When my dog Boo suddenly got sick I took him to Crown based on a recommendation from the rescue I adopted him from. I could not imagine the painful diagnosis we would receive that night but Dr. Berenstein was so compassionate and patient with all of my questions. I was quickly scheduled for a consult with their oncologist, Dr. Angelo, who did all she could to give him a fighting chance. Throughout the following days she and her staff followed up repeatedly with me and kept me updated when his condition took a turn for the worse and had to be hospitalized. Unfortunately, his disease progressed much faster than we expected and I lost my fluffy friend a couple weeks later. To all at Crown Hospital - thank you so much for the patience, support and sympathy. I am so grateful for meeting such kind people.

Wonderful, caring and uplifting staff. They took great care of my cat, despite my worry about not being with him throughout the visit. They helped me feel good about leaving him with them, and took great care of him while finding out what was wrong. This helped me to determine what was best for him after bringing him home. They Answered all of my questions. I’m glad that some of my baby’s last experiences were to have met and be cared by these people.

Very professional and caring. Performed 2 ACL repair surgeries for our dog. Recovery was good and they followed up and made sure she was doing okay at home. Highly recommend for orthopedic surgery.

My kitten had labored breathing and was referred to Crown. He was promptly seen and given the emergency care needed, running tests throughout the day and night with his diagnosed cardiac failure. They went above and beyond. I definitely recommend them!

I came in with my cat, Bubba, a few months ago on emergency. They saw him immediately, and I felt that every tech and vet cared for him like he was their own pet. Dr. Nicole, Dr. Berger, and the other doctors are attentive and explained everything as needed. It was EXTREMELY expensive as any emergency vet would be, and they require most of the estimate they provide up front. It was worth it for the level of care that I believe he received. A couple months later, Bubba is doing well, and I would definitely return if ever needed.

Over the past 23 years, my pets have seen specialists all over the state of NJ. The Doctors and staff at Crown V.S. have far exceeded the quality of care my pet and I have received anywhere else. (I am a certified veterinary technician at a small animal general practice.)

I cannot thank these amazing people enough. My 7 year old mini dachshund was vomiting and after I took him to my regular vet it was determined that he needed more care than they could provide. She sent us to Crown. This was a very scary experience and every single person from the front desk to vet techs to doctors were nothing but understanding and compassionate. Their manager Donna was also an amazingly compassionate individual. Yes, it is expensive (as any emergency vet is) but I would do it over again in a heartbeat if that was necessary. They kept me up to date in EVERY stage of Watson’s stay. I really can’t express how happy I am to not only have my baby well again, but to have met these amazing individuals. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

My 9 yr old pet dog went in for a Splenectomy which weighed in at 8 lbs. He spent one night there and was home the next day. He is recovering nicely. The staff there were wonderful!!!

As a veterinary professional in a family of vets, when our own dog was in need of overnight emergency and specialist care, we went to Crown. Dr. Ross has an impressive reputation in the veterinary world. But it was really Dr. Panarello that made us choose Crown, because we needed the best internal medicine specialist for our pup. She has an admittedly complicated case. And she is a pretty delicate flower, and drama queen. They took wonderful care of her. They got her on the right track, were impressively thorough with testing and catching things we didn't even think of. We know the value of veterinary care very well, and the bill was more than reasonable. Everyone was kind and professional. I want to also acknowledge that the diversity in the workplace, the fact they offer greif counseling for pet owners, and that they are hosting lectures for veterinary professionals about compassion fatigue, all speaks volumes about the value this practice provides for the whole field of veterinary care. They are a great example of what all practices should be doing to innovate and keep the culture surrounding veterinary care as positive as possible. Thanks to everyone there! We will be sending clients and friends alike, when they need services from emergency or speciality care. I'm sure considering my pups ability to always be a bit of a disaster, I'll probably be there again myself...

SO happy about our experience with Crown Vet. I went in on an emergency and they saw us right away! From speaking to the receptionists of the phone, to the technician that took my pet in and the quick responses from the veterinarian you can really tell they care about your pet. For any emergency hospital in the area their prices are very fair and reasonable. I will never go anywhere else for emergency care again! Thank you all so much for all you do! Norman and I appreciate you all!

The entire staff from front desk, nurse, to the emergency doctor was very professional and had a sense of urgency. They immediately admitted my dog and treated her promptly while keeping me informed and answering my questions in the process. Facility itself was also very clean.

This experience was a complete nightmare. My 14-yr old Yorkshire Terrier had a bad allergic reaction which I trusted Crown Vet to solve. Upon arriving I waited 30min after curbside check-in and received no updates from staff on anticipated delays. After following up with them, the receptionist showed attitude around providing further background on delay. After this was escalated, a Senior Technician explained I would need to come back in few hours as there were more critical cases to cover. I came back 3 hours later only to have my dog examined for less than 5min by Dr. Elena Fromzel and then presented with a $255 bill. The doctor gave me a generic diagnosis for my dogs condition mentioning it could be environmental allergies which is something anyone could have just googled on the internet. They prescribed me over counter medicine (Temaril-P) and Shampoo which was marked up 3x - 4x retail cost. After getting home and washing my dog with the medicated Shampoo, I realized the Shampoo they gave expired almost a year ago (pictures attached). I explained to Senior Technician and instead of taking accountability that there should be better quality control practices over their inventory especially when in a Medical field and treating peoples animals, she mentioned she wasn’t the one who packed it and would just talk to the person who did. I honestly believe this is the responsibility of owners or managers to ensure the products you are selling at 4x price markup at a minimum are NOT expired. The technician refunded me for expired Shampoo which retailed for $11 however was sold to me for $40 and thought that would be enough to suffice my troubles. After two days I noticed the medications prescribed for my dog were not working and symptoms were still present. Therefore, I requested to speak to Manager, Donna DeTommaso. I called Donna on 7/26 to walk her through the chain of events which occurred over the weekend and let her know my dog was misdiagnosed and the symptoms were getting worst. Donna immediately rushed off the phone saying she had to handle the front desk and someone would get back to me. Donna was completely unsympathetic to the circumstances and hands off with attempting to help resolve anything. Instead of calling me back, Donna delegates to one her staff Janette. I told her Janette I wanted to resolve this matter with a Manager and she mentioned Donna would not be able to assist. At this point, I informed Janette I would be disputing the charges directly through my bank which I have already did. To the owner of the business, be aware of the People you have running your business. Don’t lose “Dollars” counting “Pennies”. You lost a very loyal Customer. I hope the $250 was worth risking your brand reputation and losing a long-term Customer for life.

Can't say enough positive things about this team. Dr. Ross performed a complex surgery on our puppy who was born with his front legs, backwards. He runs and walks today like a normal dog. Incredible people.

I can't express how grateful I am to have a 24/7 animal hosp. During covid My 2 older dogs had to be put down. They placed me and my dog in a separate room to spend a couple of mins together. They felt my pain and my loss. I can't thank them enough for giving me that little bit of time together. Very compassionate professional and every one is extremely kind. The facility is very clean. Unfortunately I had to make 2 other midnight visits. I'm grateful and blessed to have a wonderful animal Hosp in the area
