We took our dog Lola in to get checked out when she was having some tummy trouble and acting very lethargic. Her energy level had decreased and she just seemed unhappy. Dr. Blease checked her out and compared her weight from our previous visit. He said her belly was probably nothing to worry about and prescribed meds but said he was concerned she may have a thyroid issue, which was something not on our radar at all. He said her fur, lethargy, and a few other things made him almost 100% sure, but of course we would do blood work. Low and behold she has hypothyroidism. He started her on meds and she is now like a brand new dog! Her energy level has gone through the roof, she's happy and completely healthy again! Can't say enough great things about Dr.Blease. A few years prior he also put down 2 of our cats (different years and illnesses in both). Both times he was compassionate and patient. He gave me time to sit with them and hold them before, during, and after the process. I won't take my animals to anyone else.

If you want a veterinarian who truly cares for your pet this is the place to go amazing prices amazing staff wish I could give them 6 stars

Very disorganized the vet tells you one thing about when the vaccine is due and then types the opposite information of when the pets vaccinarion is next due, the girls up front at counter are also very disorganized can't even get my address right I don't want unprofessional people taking care of my dog, never going back there again!

The hairdressers there do a beautiful job everybody was very polite & helpful A great place too get a good haircut from. True professional business

The whole staff is amazing. My lola had the best care and prices are good.Dr.Blease is a very humble man and worked with me and my family. They are wonderful and I would recommend him for any animal care.

This doctor took us in on a Sunday morning even though he never met us before. He saved my dog's life. Very polite and my dog gave him a kiss. She's never done that before in her 11 years!!! Highly recommend!

Dr. Blease is the most amazing vet. He actually cares about your pet. No matter the time or day he puts their needs first. He is not all about money and does not advise unnecessary things. Would highly recommend!!!

Dr. Blease and his staff are Amazing! Compassionate, Helpful, Honest. Our 3 pups Oreo, Rosie and Bailey are All taken such good care of. And when our Beloved Coco and Garfield were sick they were there for us to do all they could for them. ❤????

He loves to tell stories, looked at our chicken after a fox attacked it...also speyer our kitten we rescued from common sense. Nice fellow!!!

In our experience with Dr Blease and staff has been wonderful!! Our guinea pig has been miss treated badly at another vet office and charged a large bill several times and told our piggy was going to die and two years later he is happy and healthy! They treated our piggy ruff to the point he was screaming which I thought it was a puppy crying which was our piggy. A small guinea pig screaming that way is abuse !! So we have nothing but respect for Dr Blease and staff and reading others horrible comments here make me sad how immature some people can be and to even judge the mental state of the doctor is disgusting!

I've been bringing my pets to Dr Blease for 10 years through many tough times and he always shows such compassion! He's always been honest and straightforward with me but will fight the cause alongside me. He's treated my dog, guinea pigs, and cats. Thank you!

Great vet! They have common sense for animals in an adjacent building. Quaint set up! Receptionist are very nice to talk to.

Great place. Very small but the vet makes sure every pet gets the time they deserve. This is the only place I get my dogs nails cut. She really does not like getting them done and fights with it bad. It literally takes three sometimes four people to hold her still. But it's all done with compassion. Prices here are extremely reasonable. Almost twice as much anywhere else.

I brought my dog there several years ago. I wouldn't advise anyone to ever go there. No kill shelter, but he wanted to euthanize my dog because he couldn't figure out why he didn't have bladder control. 2 years later he did pass, but lived a happy life until then

Dr Blease was amazing to me especially in such a hard time. My dog was diagnosed with lymphoma and it was extremely upsetting but he was so good to my dog and myself I couldn't have asked for more.

He's honest on his work and he does it well

Dr Blease was once a kind and caring vet. I am very sorry to say that in his old age he's become very nasty, disrespectful and uncaring for the animals he treats as well as their owners. We have seen the progression over the last few years. It may be early onset Alzheimer's in which case I am very sorry for him but he really needs to stop practicing as he is doing his patients and animals a disservice. My wife brought our 2-10 pound dogs today to see him. The appointment was at 9:15 and she got there at 9:00. No one was there and he seemed annoyed and said you're here 15 minutes early you'll have to wait and walked up stairs. He came down the stairs at exactly 9:15. He proceeded to throw our tiny dogs like rag dolls around the table as he examined them while having rude conversations with my wife. My wife just finished chemotherapy and has no hair. This was the convo: Blease: what do you have breast cancer ? My wife: no I have non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. Blease: oh well you have a much higher survival rate". Next convo my wife was telling him about how her students and community supported her and even held an event where they all cut their hair to donate to cancer patients. Blease response?: " well it must not have mattered to you that much because you're not wearing a wig today". I'm a positive person and hate to leave such negative permanent informormation on the Internet about someone but no customer should go through what my wife did. I wish him the best in the struggles of aging but he clearly needs to retire.
