Dog Kingdom Lansdale, Pennsylvania

First off I will say please read other sites reviews also as you will see I am not the only person who had this experience. I waited to post because I didn’t want to leave a review in anger, it’s been about 6 months now and I still feel everyone should think twice before sending your pup here. This place cut my dogs hair so short that she had razor burn all over her body. To the point that it was scabbing. She couldn’t even walk. We had to buy hot spot cream, put her in a cone, stay awake with her at night to make sure she didn’t lick at her injuries. When we called them to let them know, we were trying to be nice and professional and give them a heads up so no other dog had to go through such an awful experience, and they were beyond rude to us. I don’t usually leave reviews, but I wish I had listened to some of the bad reviews from this place. I hope I can save a few puppies from this experience.

We love Dog Kingdom. The people are so nice there and our dogs always look and feel great when they are done. Great place with personal service.

I'm always worried when I take my dog anywhere.... He's little, a bit of a drama king, but also has a history of abuse before I rescued him. Dog Kingdom is the only groomer he has ever happily walked into, that tells me everything I need to know. Great place

Friendly and accommodating! My dog is huge and a big baby when it comes to the blow dryer. They handle it very well.

We have been using Dog Kingdom for almost a year after moving to the area, but after today we will never go back. I always thought they were overpriced but used them for convenience. When I dropped off my dog today, they told me about 4 hours which was unusual because it has never taken them more than 2 to groom our dog. After 4 hours I called to find out that he has been ready and they insisted they called me. I went right away to pick up my dog, who was in a cage high off the ground and shaking. I again let them know that no one called me to let me know my dog was ready and they wouldn’t say how long he had been ready. I also let them know I was unhappy that my dog was in a cage and they didn’t seem to care. I have never used a groomer who caged dogs, and had I known that Dog Kingdom would be irresponsible enough to not call me when my dog was ready and then cage him terrified, I would have never used them. This is also the worst hair cut he’s ever had- it is ridiculously uneven and not at all what I communicated I wanted done when I dropped him off.

Jeff was super nice and they cut my dog's hair perfectly! Even touched up his face even though I forgot to specifically ask them to. My dog is very timid and they were gentle and caring with him, my dog did alot better at the groomer than i thought he would and it's because of the caring work of the groomers!!! :)))

Jeff and staff were so gentle and patient with my 13 old senior dog. His back legs are very weak and it is not easy to clip his nails. Jeff cuddled my dog while his assistant took care of his nails. Price was very reasonable too. Thank you Dog Kingdom!!

These guys seriously love dogs! I bring my greyhound in to get his nails trimmed and he's always taken care of and he's happy when he leaves. They do a great job.

Nail grinding is super quick and convenient. Our rescue is very nervous and they always treat her with patience and care.

We took our dogs, for bath and deshedding and they were super nice and professional! 100% will be back!

Great grooming at great prices!

Absolutely! Absolutely! Absolutely! Love this place. I’ve been living in Lansdale for five years now and struggled to find a good groomer, Jeff and AL are absolutely incredible groomers.

I did not even feel comfortable to take my dog to this facility because the person I spoke to on the phone was super sarcastic. I asked if my dog would need to be sedated for a teeth cleaning because once I was told that a dog grooming facility recommended that in order for them to ensure that they got all of the debris and dirt out of the mouth. However, Jeff or whoever I spoke with had a sarcastic comment saying "well you know your dog better than I do, but I have no idea why anyone would tell you that" instead of saying "no we don't need that but you should talk to your vet if you feel like that would be necessary". I felt like he was unprofessional and it made me not want to even take my animal to this facility because of the unprofessional attitude that I was greeted with on the phone.

My favorite groomer for nails. I have a tiny Chihuahua, Oliver, and we only come here because they’re simply the best. I have been coming here for quite some time now and they always go out of their way to make our visit perfect. They’re so accommodating and extremely professional. Through all of the recent challenges with Covid, they have all gone over and beyond to make sure our little ones receive the services they need and this means the world to me. I’m very picky who works with my little boy and I know each time he comes for a visit, he is in the best hands. Thank you so much for all that you do for us.
