My family and I have been bringing our many pets here for several years now. All of the folks that work here such excellent people. Dr.Urbaniak is hands down the best vet that we’ve ever had & we always feel that our pets are in excellent care. All of the vet techs are great as well. The place is SUPER clean too. I would suggest or refer anyone to VCA without hesitation. Thank you, VCA for all that you do. It’s very much appreciated. - Joe & Melissa Bergen.

Employees we're very knowledgeable and patient with my cat was there. Mimi passed on Saturday but at least we were able to get a concrete reason for her sickness. I recommend this place greatly for their compassion and medical professionalism.

My dog got an eye infection and not only did I get an appointment for the next day ( which you know is like hitting the Lottery) BUT THEY CALLED ME BACK AND HAD A CANCELATION FOR THAT DAY AT 4:30. The doctor and the staff were AMAZING

I took our new adopted puppy to this VCA and the vet was brutish and dismissive of my concerns. She bulldozed over me in conversation and inserted her own ideas despite the fact that I had at this point spent a lot more time around my puppy to know why I had these concerns. She sent us away with a few medications that didn't address the bulk of our concerns with little explanation. I continued to feel like something wasn't right and took my puppy to a different vet, only to find he did in fact have 2 types of worms and Giardia. All common out of a shelter. Poor baby has been sick this whole time with no help because this vet couldn't put away her ego long enough to listen to a genuinely concerned pet parent.

My dog has bone cancer with a broken rear leg and needed the splint re-wrapped. This had been done by a VCA hospital in Florida which charged $44.00. The Delaware Valley VCA ,which had all the dog's history, charged a total of $237.80! $89.50 for the visit and a whopping $148.30 for re-wrapping the splint!!! Since then the splint needed to be re-wrapped once again and the New Hope Veterinary Hospital charged $38. Beware of the outrageous pricing here!!!

Urbannack or however her name is spelled, is the WORST vet. She misdiagnosed my dog with a uti back in 2012-13, turns out she was diabetic & she almost died. Vsec correctly diagnosed my dog. She had seen my dog for years and knew exactly how she was, she has a lot of anxiety & would hardly ever treat her without my family giving a pill to make her drowsy. She would never see her without sedating her, when other vets we saw would try to muzzle her or use different tactics. Sedation costs $$$$ all she cares about is money. She's some choice words I won't use on her but you can insert anyone of your choosing. My advice, find a vet that cares about your pets well being.

Talk about Responsive and Professional!!! My first experience with the VCA- DelCo was not great. The appointment itself was fine, the vet tech was super friendly with my dog, Phebe, and the doc called during the appointment (Covid) to explain everything going on with Phebe's check up. I had asked for a nail trim, which had been forgotten. And after the appointment, I was expecting to have a follow up call and no one called to check on Phebe. I was not super happy, but reach out to Marilyn Katz, the hospital manager, and let her know my issues and concerns. Marilyn was responsive and professional and assured me this was not a typical experience. Fast Forward to today, I needed an emergency trip to the vet for medicine for Phebe's ear. I had left a voicemail over the weekend and emailed Marilyn to let her know. To my surprise they called me at 8 am to schedule a same day appointment. This visit was a complete 180* polar opposite experience. Jill, the vet tech, was super sweet and greeted Phebe as we walked in. Dr. Otto explained, in great detail, the different things that might be going on and the fact that he had a plan of attack for either scenario. Marilyn came in to introduce herself and we spoke about the last visit. I am impressed with their passion for customer service and the knowledgeable staff, vet techs and doctors. We now call VCA-DelCo "home" as it applies to any issues with Phebe. I highly recommend giving VCA-DelCo an opportunity, and if for whatever reason it is not 100% satisfactory, reach out to Marilyn.

We took our dog there yesterday for the first time. Our dog has a severe case of anxiety when it comes to vet visits. Dr. Haegele and her staff were terrific. They were very patient and calm and did everything they could to make the visit pleasant for our dog

I have been bringing my dog here since I got her. While I already felt this vet to be pricier than most , I continued to take her. This time I brought her and waited AN HOUR and then left. That is completely unacceptable. I don't care how backed up you are, I recieved no indication of them being behind schedule when I arrived , I had to call THEM 40 min after I arrived to find out ! Besides having dealt with what I interpret as a rude staff member, this was truly the last straw. I won't be returning.

First time at this facility. Adopted and was sent there for his well visit after neutering. I will continue to take Buddy there as I was very impressed with Dr Goldberg and any staff member I had any contact with.

RIDICULOUS prices, and apparently they can't read either. Owned by a big corporation. Take your pet somewhere else

I would put negative stars if I could. Messed up my dog Paislee’s worming medicine twice then claimed I must have lost some of it - when all I did was walk outside and realized it was missing. Also my mom called on Xmas Eve because her dog would not eat or move at this point. Told her they didn’t have any appointments and couldn’t see her. I wrote an honest review on fb also, but it’s missing now. I would never bring my pets here again. Then the vet finally called my mom to see how her dog was doing only after I wrote what they said was a “nasty review”. I only wrote what truly happened and took screen shots of my review. It was not nasty at all - was just facts. They also keep deleting ANY negative fb reviews. Including mine. I think if you made the mistake - own you to it. Stop deleting truthful reviews just because you don’t like them!!

First of all $85 just to walk threw the door. Then during the COVID 19 not receiving a paycheck for 2 months because unemployment was so backed up I couldn’t afford a $300 bill for blood work and fecal testing for my 8 year old German Shepard with bad hips. The ignorant receptionist never had the vet return my phone call for them to give my dog medication to control his thyroid and medication for his pain. This place is only about money

My chocolate lab Candy has been a patient there for 13 years. We just got home from a visit that I thought was going to end very badly. After a very through exam by the new vet, Dr. Rizzitano and tech, Jill, Candy was able to return home with a very happy owner. I can't say enough good things about the wonderful staff at VCA Delaware Valley. Wouldn't take my dog anywhere else. Thank you.

My wife and I took our sick kitten here. There's a nice big waiting room and the receptionists were all very nice. We were seen pretty quickly. The Vet assistant back in the room was wonderful. She was very pleasant, caring and was great with our kitten. The Dr. was also really good, caring, genuinely interested and explained the tests, etc. The reason why I will NEVER go back there is the brazen price gouging on prescriptions. Vets and the tests, etc are all expensive. That's understood. However charging me over $30 for 6 pills is theft!! These pills online and at pet shops and even other vets are anywhere from $0.28 to $0.39 a pill. Yes, that's 28 to 39 cents a pill!!! Why are we being charged $5.23 for those same EXACT pills.?? It's a disgrace!!! This is why I will never go there again, and why I will tell everyone I know not to give away your hard earned money to people trying to steal from us!

Very expensive. Misdiagnosed one of my cats that actually had cancer and the same for my kitten who was found to have a rare genetic disorder to which both had to be euthanized at yet another very expensive animal hospital that did at least diagnose their maladies correctly. Cost me a fortune and sadly they are gone.

We've been going to this Vet for over 10 years. Both of our dogs are seen here. Their staff is great ! They are professional and treat our pets like the family members they are.

I brought my dog here to catch him up on some of his shots. He’s a min pin so he has very high energy & gets super excited around other animals/people that he comes off as aggressive but he’s the exact opposite, he has never attacked another animal or person..he also lives with 2 cats as well & loves his sisters :) he was not at a vets office for a very long time so I was very nervous but VCA did such a wonderful job with my dog, making sure he was comfortable & spoiling him with lots of Peanut butter!! So needless to say, he now loves the Vets office :) great staff seriously, thank you!!
