The receptionist lacked compassion and care. My pet is dying and they declined care because they claim to be at capacity. The vet did not even offer to speak to me over the phone or advice us on where to take our pet. If your pet is dying …

Not sure how it’s possible, but don’t bring your pet here unless you want them to leave in worse condition then they went in. I wish I could give this place negative stars. Not only do they do little to nothing to help your animal, but they charge you an arm and a leg for it too. My pet won’t walk, eat or drink and they called it “vague symptoms”. Unreal!

Outstanding group of people who treat you with care and professionalism. Unfortunately, I had to put my pet down and I appreciated the staff's ability to provide empathy and the care to both my family and my pet. While a sad time I would like to thank all of you who deal with this on a routine basis. It's nice to know a business cares that much. I will miss him.

Dr. Erk was so kind and gentle with my puppy and with me! I appreciate all the time and effort. Having a sick pet is very scary and traumatic and he made it as ok as it can be.

I am disgusted. Wish it was possible to give less than 1 star. Came in a little before 8pm with my dog who can’t even stand on his own at the moment and has been vomiting since this morning and the receptionist immediately told me there was nothing they could do. Apparently there is a “nation wide shortage on nurses and a lot of people got dogs during covid so they don’t have the means any longer to see patients” THEN WHY ARE YOU EVEN OPEN? Why be considered a 24/7 emergency vet if you’re going to turn people away the second they walk in the door? I am beside myself. I have been bringing my animals to CARES (the previous hospital before becoming Blue Pearl) and it was always such a great experience. Never again. Don’t waste your time especially if your animal is very sick and needs to be seen immediately.

I'm usually not one to write a review, but I have truly come to love the staff at CARES over the 8 months I spent here while my golden retriever, Jake was undergoing chemo treatment. Not only was the oncology staff empathetic, but they truly love your pet like their own. Jake was diagnosed with lymphoma at only 4 years old and as any pet owner can imagine this was earth shattering. The oncology staff took the time and care to explain each step and treatment in detail weekly as Jake battled his cancer. It didn't take long for Jake to actually become excited to see his nurses, especially Cayla. They would call and give me updates on his long treatment days as well as send detailed report cards home - on one occasion they even emailed me a picture of him during his NYE treatment. Sadly, Jake lost his battle to lymphoma and when the day came for Jake, Cayla was the most comforting and empathetic nurse I could've ever asked for. Thank you is an understatement and if your pet is in need of chemo or any other medical treatment, rest assured CARES is the best place to go.

Last night, I took my cat to this pet hospital, and we had to put her down. At 17 years of age, It wasn't totally unexpected. The staff at Blue Pearl were exceptional. Dr. Dempsey guided us through the process, with kindness and …

I know this hospital is short staffed right now and even with the lack of help and support everyone here took amazing care of my dog Odin. In his emergency situation they treated him with love and care like their own and kept me updated with his testing and surgery as often as possible. I hope to have to never go back again but if there is ever an emergency, this will be my hospital.

Came in with my cat who now I know has Bronchitis and was turned away because the tech said he was fine and wasnt having any difficulty breathing. This all happened at midnight in 5 minutes and she took a look at him thru the kennel cage door while we were still in my car!! What type of service is this? I had to take him somewhere else, were after x rays we found out he has bronchitis and is having difficulty breathing. Shame.

They have always taken such good care of my dog whenever he (unfortunately) has to receive emergency care. I would highly recommend this facility.

The receptionist is the rudest person I have ever dealt with. Don’t give this place your business. There are PLENTY of vet hospitals that truly care for your fur babies.

I couldn’t be happier with their services. My senior dog, Chewy, developed an eye ulcer that turned into a corneal infection. At one point, we thought she might lose her eye. Four months later she is finally healed! Dr. Low is an amazing ophthalmologist and I highly recommend her for ophthalmology services. I truly feel she saved my dogs eye!

Dr. Palaigos was our little Havanese, Sasha’s doctor, and from the moment we met him, we felt his compassion, breadth of knowledge, and professionalism. Though our precious girl's outcome was not what we had hoped and prayed for, Dr. Palaigos and the staff were kind, compassionate, communicative and patient with us as we accepted the inevitable and Sasha was humanely euthanized on July 18, a day after admittance. We received her paw print in a beautiful casing and a lovely poem prior to leaving the hospital. A couple of days later, we received a sympathy card and a seedling to plant in Sasha’s memory. Thank you Blue Pearl.

Horrible place, please do not take your pet there. I took my dog Coco there since she was pooping blood. I took her there previously there for her eyes. Back to pooping blood...never got a definite answer on why. Told by Dr. Adler that dogs just do that, dog garbage stomach. Talked on the phone about nonsense and she threw Dr. Low, the optimaligist under the bus. Sayong the dog was sick due to glacoma on her eyes. Maybe. My dog was there for 2 days. Reports from Dr. Adler was she was perky and alert. Picked up my dog. Who came home and went to sleep. Not perky and alert. They forgot to give me discharge instructions from Dr Low the optimaligist. The eyes were more the serious issue. No instructions. The next morymy dog was squinting. Took her back where they told it I'm would be a courtesy follow up, which it wasn't. Now she had an infection in her eye, she was discharged from there less than 24 hours ago. Evidently with an eye infection. Spent a fortune, money I did not have and came home with no instructions, gave the dog the wrong eye drops, instructions included pain killers which they forgot. I could go on. Front desk is rude and makes u feel like you are bothering them. The wait, the cost...I was willing to pay, but she came out sicker than when she went in...pretty good ER doctor, but know I think she snowed me to commit to tests that cost over 5,000. They use fancy medical terms instead of giving it to you straight. Horrible experience. My dog was in there for 2 days, poor thing. Not even sure they administrated eyes drops. Never again and I will tell my friends.

I had to put down my Boston terrier on July 1, 2021. The staff at Blue Pearl Langhorne were excellent, supportive and so caring during this difficult time. I received a beautiful sympathy card from them , and received Spikes ashes and paw …

I took my cat there because she hadn't been eating well and seemed to be gagging a lot. The vet, Tara Gleysteen, said my cat had a rotten tooth. I was surprised because she'd had her teeth checked not too long before and I was told they were fine. She said that my cat wasn't eating due to the tooth and nausea. Today I took her to have her tooth extracted at her regular vet, and she didn't make it out of surgery. It turns out she had a very large tumor that was easily visible when you open her mouth, and that her teeth were perfectly fine. I understand that my cat was older. The issue I have is that Tara Gleysteen made up an ailment and never actually checked my cat's mouth. If she could see her back teeth, she should've been able to see the tumor, and that her teeth were not the problem.

Extremely disappointed in this establishment. I don't believe that they truly care for animals but are only money hungry. Second pet I have brought here regretfully. The vets seem like they have no idea what they are talking about and love to play guessing games just to hike up the bill. No compassion whatsoever. My LOVING CKCS came out of there terrified and sad after only receiving a blood test and fluids. Additionally, it is ridiculous that everything is now open post-covid but this facility is choosing not to open their doors. Where is the transparency? They shouldn't be trusted with your loved ones.

Everyone here has been so pleasant and helpful from the moment we pulled in and came into the door. Thank you Dr.Bailey For taking such great care of my puppy Brandy! Very through exam and a gentle soul. I will definitely recommend this location and use again in the future ( if we need too although I hope we do not!)

Please do not expect anyone to set an expectation about how much time you will wait to be seen by a doctor. I understand this is an ER/Hospital, however your staff needs to set an expectation about the wait. I called ahead and pre-registered. Called when I got there and waited over an hour to be called into the facility. Then we were put in a room and told, "the doctor will be in". An hour and a half later, no doctor, no staff, nothing. You are not allowed to leave the room, so upon calling the front desk I was told the doctor was finishing with a patient, then was going to do rounds before seeing me, another 45 minutes. After almost 3 hours, my dogs bleeding foot seemed to not be gushing blood anymore so we left. In a couple hours, I could get in to see my vet. Please set expectations for those waiting, it goes along way.

Wonderful facility with helpful, caring staff. Dr. Palaigos is an amazing Vet - he took the time to explain everything to me in detail and answered all of my questions. He was very thorough and made sure my furbaby got the best care they could give. It's not easy to not be able to be with your pets while going though an emergency medical situation (thanks, COVID) but they made sure to update me often and set my mind at ease while they took care of my cat, Weasley. I would absolutely use their emergency services again... though I hope I don't have to. ☺

Unfortunately our dog was a patient here twice within a short period of time, but the doctors and staff were all wonderful. They were kind and caring and explained her condition in terms that we could understand and always kept us informed. They were very patient with us and they were sensitive to the financial aspect of the situation as well. I would highly recommend Blue Pearl Pet Hospital if you find yourself in the need of an animal hospital.

Today my dog was denied to be seen for a medical emergency. I was told they were at capacity and I had to take her somewhere else. How long are we going to blame covid for this kind of service or lack of.

The staff here showed incredible care when I had to put my cat down. They were very fast to get him ready for the procedure and gave us all the time we needed to spend our last moments with him. The staff and the process provided immense comfort at such a difficult time and I will forever appreciate them for that.

Wonderful facility with caring and thoughtful personnel. Special thanks to Dr. Martha Low in the ophthalmology department caring for our very vision impaired Doxiepoo. Her gentle manner, extreme knowledge and excellent rapport with pet parents is extraordinary. Though our dog’s prognosis is not promising we know that Dr. Low will be a tremendous and constant support for us.

They were very rough with my dog. A small breed. He was snapping at us in the car for the first couple minutes. He is the most loving dog ,he would never do that. He was traumatized and heavily sedated. When they took his cone off as we were picking him up the assistant didn’t undo the cone, she pulled it off his head and it hurt him. I never heard my dog howl in 12 years but he was howling today. Sad!!
