Bark U King of Prussia, Pennsylvania

Bark U has been life changing for our family and for our first puppy. He has now completed both the Puppy Socialization program and Undergrad program. We saw positive results in just a few weeks of starting the puppy program. He is more comfortable and better behaved around dogs of all sizes. Now, he is all around better behaved and responds quickly to commands which makes life easier at home, on walks and at the dog park. The staff at Bark U is so welcoming, caring and helpful. Our puppy absolutely loves going to Bark U! He runs right up to the door every time!

Disappointed with the most recent service here. In the past it has been a decent service for my dog’s regular grooming, but have found better groomers in the area. Made appointment here for recent groom due to long waits for other location. After paying over the phone when notified he’s ready to be picked up, I got a call back that they discovered my dog was bleeding under his arm and they couldn’t explain when or how it happened. They said he probably needed to go to the vet to confirm if he needs stitches or treatment. When my puppy was picked up it was the same statements and unapologetic, saying they noticed it and don’t know how it happened instead of just saying it happened. Took my dog to the vet and he’s on 14 day antibiotic, needs the open wound cleaned daily, and has to wear a cone to keep him from licking it. Overall the grooming was nothing to take pictures of. His cute lhasa apso fur was cut as short as possible with no face or tail or paw definition we usually get elsewhere. He’s shivering and needs to be wrapped in blankets or a fleece jacket we found at costco last year. We could have done the same cut at home and not paid $86 for this traumatic day for my dog. Was reimbursed for vet visit and tip, but don’t plan on coming back since better options and groomers are available.

My puppy has taken classes, participated in day care and we have also boarded him while we were out of town. We, and our dog Pepper, love Bark U. The staff truly cares about our dog and always greets us with a welcoming smile. In addition to day care, Pepper gets her grooming at Bark U which is convenient and they do a great job on our labadoodle.

I could be a walking commercial for Bark U. They have been a lifesaver for me and my family, and I would recommend them to anyone. We have a high energy dog (Brittany spaniel) and other daycares turned him away because of his desire to always play and run. We also wanted to wait to neuter our pup, and Bark U is one of the few places who takes intact dogs. The Bark U Bus is SO convenient and a great value. When Frank or Jasmin come to pick up my pup, he gets SO excited. He's clearly been able to bond with the people who take care of him during the day. The bus crew is also always super pleasant when they come get him, and accommodating if I am on a work call and can't come grab him instantly. They will offer training tips or advice if I ask for it and are all very knowledgeable about doggy behavior. My family has tried different daycares while traveling or out of town, and I'm always amazed at how little some places seem to care about the dog's happiness compared to Bark U, who want to make sure all the pups are living their best lives!

The staff are Bark U are fantastic! My dog Cocoa loves coming here and they make sure to treat her like a celebrity. Specials thanks to Jenny, AJ, and the rest of the Bark U team. I highly recommend if you are looking for overnight boarding and grooming. They do a stellar job!

Was recommended to me for my malamute who is in able to stand for very long due to a knee injury. They booked her for a 'zoom groom' which means they are able to focus solely on her and take their time, give her sitting breaks and hand drying her. They were very up front with pricing over the phone and only took her a few hours! She was so happy when we picked her up, she smelled amazing, her trims were perfect! Even gave her a little purple bow to match her tail and brace! Highly recommend for older or handicapped dogs!

I have boarded my dog who has high anxiety at Bark U and he is always happy there. The staff is very attentive and professional. They even post pictures on their Facebook of your dog at play. I refer all of my friends and family to Bark U and everyone is always very happy with their service. If I get a new puppy I will definitely use their training services as well.

My boy Max has been going to daycare 2 times a week now and loves it, I almost feel bad picking him up! Staff is super friendly and you can tell they all really care about the dogs that go there.

Bark U is the best!! We feel so comfortable sending our puppy here as the staff is so helpful, kind and knowledgeable!! They go the extra mile by giving your dog report cards after their first visit which makes nervous first time dog parents much more comfortable!!

Staff is super friendly and very responsive. Love their process of doing a temperament test before your first daycare session. Dogs always get super excited to go and are exhausted when they come home. Highly recommend.

Bark U is an exceptional daycare and grooming facility. Not only do they accommodate my crazy schedule, but my dog Olli loves playtime, bath time, and absolutely any time he gets to spend at Bark U! The staff are extremely friendly, helpful, and have special bonds with each and every dog that walks through their doors. The owner is super compassionate, knowledgeable, and results-driven when it comes to the canine breed. A true dog whisperer! ;0) I highly recommend this fabulous facility to anyone looking for a professional pet care experience!

Will never go back for daycare, boarding, or grooming.

We have been taking our dogs to bark u since they were puppies. We love Christine and her friendly staff. They really care a lot about the dogs and have a relationship with each of them. Can’t say enough good things about this place. !!

Bark U and its staff are top notch. They have treated myself and Zoey like we are their own family and pets every time we go there. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable, polite, helpful, and courteous. Could not have asked for a better group of people to watch after and take care of my pup.

Bark U is fantastic!! I truly can’t say enough positive words. My pup, Daisy, absolutely loves going to daycare there. They go above and beyond to make sure the dogs get plenty of playtime, as well as add in fun special events! Another great thing they do is post pictures almost daily so you can see all the fun your dog had that day. I can’t recommend them enough!

I recently had my dog groomed at Bark U and they did a great job. My dog was in terrible shape because of Covid and I didn’t think they would be able to salvage anything but I can’t believe how beautiful they made her look! Scheduling was easy and everyone was nice. My dog is normally scared of groomers and can be a bit of a challenge but you can tel they took their time with her and I am so thankful. I will definitely be back.

I'm not sure who loves BarkU more, me or Loki (@loki_maz)! He joined the puppy program and gets so excited whenever I mention the words "school" or "friends" because he knows where he is going. When we pull up he jumps out to the staff member waiting and doesn't look back Its so worth it to have a well adjusted, happy puppy, who gets along with both humans and dogs. Really appreciate the staff here and my only "complaint" is that they don't have a Philly location yet :) (The below pictures were taken by BarkU staff)

I heard good things about this place from some neighbors who live nearby. I brought my puppy here to be boarded for the first time for 5 days. He has some anxiety and I made this very clear to the staff prior to boarding him. He came home with even worse anxiety and caught an upper respiratory illness (which they did not tell me about upon-pickup). His symptoms were loud and obvious. I just wish they would have said something...Not the standard of care I expected. Try Playtime Pet Resort, just down the road.

Judging by all the thank-you cards on the wall, everyone seems to love this place, and my neighbor's dog, whom I was dropping off there, was crazy excited to go in and see all his friends ????. …

My puppy Ollie has been going to Bark U for full day daycare twice a week for the last 4 months and he absolutely loves it! He gets so excited when we pull into the parking lot and does not want to get in the car to leave when I come to pick him up. The staff is so attentive, fun, and friendly and make me feel that he is being very well taken care of. Not being able to see inside the facility because of Covid, I was a little nervous but they post lots of pictures on facebook every day so you can see what your pup is up to. They also have fun theme days throughout the year that result in some really hysterical pictures (like this one from Bark to School Career Day).

We used Christine for advice around securing and getting ready for a puppy. She was knowledgeable, responsive, and overall wonderful to work with. We look forward to using her for additional training or advice on our “new addition” arriving soon.
