We've been using Alpine for years. Our dogs always love their "woodland retreat" while we're away. Rick treats all of the dogs like their his own.

As anyone knows I am tough to get a 5 star especially on a first visit. Once I found the location, not hard to get to but could be a little tricky. The staff was pleasant to deal with. I was dropping my moms dog off for a morning at the spa. This was a first experience every having a dog groomed for me as I have always had shorter haired dogs that didn't need groomed. Yes I know that all dogs could be groomed. They did a nice job with the grooming.

We use Alpine Kennels for both grooming and boarding. The owners treat our puppies, (all 3), with great care and as though they were their own. We have used them numerous times for boarding for almost two years. Our dogs are always excited to see Rick and are well treated. Rick has a working knowledge and love for dogs. Our 3 doodles are high energy and are happy being boarded here. I recommend Alpine for both boarding and grooming!

If I could give this kennel zero stars I would. I left my 1 year old German shepherd there for 5 days while I was on vacation. I called every day to check on him and they kept telling me he was fine. When we picked him up he was happy and excited to see us. It wasn't until 2 days later that I came come from work (I am a certified veterinary technician) and I found my dog flat out. I rushed him into my animal hospital I work at and found out he had a severe viral infection from being at this kennel. He had a 106 fever. That is borderline deadly. It's been about 4 days since he has been on antibiotics and IV fluids and he is still not the same. When I called the kennel to let them know what happened they were completely unsympathetic and saying it had nothing to do with their kennel. the owner just kept going on about how they give them fresh water and food all the time. But that had nothing to do with why my poor dog was sick. He came home with urine burns all over his legs from them not cleaning the kennels and he was so severely dehydrated. When I asked for my money back the owner refused. I would never ever recommend this kennel to anyone who loves their dog because mine and my family's heart is completely broken right now to see our dog the way he is now. But the worst part is is that the owner couldn't even take responsibility for what had happened to my dog.

My dogs can be very frustrating for boarders because of their high energy. At Alpine it wasn't a problem and they treated my puppies like their own. My dogs actually didn't even want to get in the car to go home! I highly recommend Alpine! :)

I have boarded my dog here many times. The owner is always kind and accommodating, and my dog has always been well taken care of. I would highly recommend this kennel!

I just arranged for a long weekend for our dog at Alpine Kennels. We boarded our mixed breed large female dog off and on during the 5 years she was with us and Rick and his family/team ran a great kennel. It's a no frills (don't look for doggy movies or play dates) kennel with enough indoor and outdoor room for the dogs to stretch their legs and run. Walks are available too. What impressed me was the care they took in placement of our dog between others. She came from another home because she was intermittently aggressive toward other dogs. Rick had her stay between large mellow dogs that would calm her and it was a good experience every time. We lost her to cancer but have a dog that is 18-24 months and from a rescue and he is going to Alpine Kennels while we are on vacation for the first time since he came home with us. A quick call has us ready to go.

Alpine Kennels are a family run, wonderfully clean, secure place to leave your four legged family. We have know the owners for 15 years. They are not only wonderful business people AND good friends, but also compassionate, responsible animal lovers that will take care of your pets as if they were their own. They also are wonderful groomers that make me wish I lived closer, so that we could bring our 2 Standard Poodles for their haircuts.
