my cat has been puking and i took them to the vet. i had to wait about 15 minutes until they finally came and got my cat and i couldn’t even go inside. they gave me the same cream they gave my other cat that i had to put down. it is not worth it and is so much money never going there again.

I am so incredibly thankful for PAWS! Our 6 month old kitten had something wrong with his eye and we called 10+ vet clinics and not one of them was able or willing to help us. Until PAWS answered the call. Everyone was so nice and willing to help and so professional. Dr. D was amazing and very knowledgeable! Not to mention they are affordable. We were pleasantly surprised and pleased with how affordable and caring they all were! THANK YOU AGAIN EVERYONE AT PAWS!!!!

Not 5 stars anymore. I cannot believe how much they charged me. I was to pay a tech for lyme booster which would be discount on 2nd shot. Nope 65 vet visit, each shot fee 3 bucks to throw them away and not one courtesy charged me 20 bucks hack job on a 2 min nail Clip. 175.00 from my car couldn't even go in in 15 min. That's ok, I am wiser for it.

Not taking new clients?.., was referred by current local vet due to them being overbooked but still not able to get appointment for a sick dog even if willing to pay for emergency day visit. Not trying to be a continuous client, just a 1 time visit and I'd go back to my normal vet. My review can only say they only care for some, not all pets. So one star is best I can offer on a 20 second phone call to be told, "let me stop you right there, were not taking new clients" Thanks but no thanks!

They took an emergency case without hesitation even during the pandemic and were so great every step of the way. They were very good at communicating what was needed and why and the associated costs. They even handled the very nervous owner with the utmost care! They'll be my first call from now on.

Dr. DeMuynck is a great vet. My dog has bad allergies & he will see her anytime during the week to get a hydrocortisone shot to stop her from itching & getting raw hot spots. Thank you.

I have used different local vet offices over the past 15 years for my animals, depending upon where I lived, but ended up with Agape for years, but wasn not satisfied, and about 2 years ago switched to PAWS, loved them. I recently had to make a last minute/emergency-esque appointment for my dog Josephine, due to new onset illness. As in the past, the ENTIRE staff, from the receptionist, to the techs, assistants, and Dr. DeMuynck, are all just wonderful, each one of them. I called in the morning, and they were able to get me right in the same day. They have the on-site capabilities to do the needed testing right there, and get most of the blood and urine results immediately, done while I was still there. The couple of additional and more intricate/specialized blood tests that require more time, were done by the next day, and the doctor promptly called me upon receiving and analyzing those results. He explained the results in detail, and has never acted or spoken in a rushed manner, as I've seen other vets do, as though they just want to get you in and out or off the phone as quickly as possible. Neither him or his staff act dismissive in any way, to any of my concerns, questions or emotions, and that is also of great importance when it comes to those entrusted with the health and care of my beloved pets. Because, as many pet owners can attest to; your emotions can be raw and right on the surface when faced with potential illness and the future longevity of your beloved pets. They never make me feel like I'm being overly emotional or that I'm too "attached" to my Josephine. Also, Josephine is quite the "drama-queen", and generally isn't a big fan of strangers, or really of anyone that isn't me, for that matter. And she's difficult when anyone even tries to trim her nails, let alone do anything else to her, and forget about blood draws. Yet somehow when they took her to the next room to draw blood, administer her subq fluids and even give her nails a much-needed trim, they were adept, skillful enough to do so quickly, proficiently, and seemingly painlessly, as I never heard so much as a peep from her, when usually I can hear her putting up fight, whining, clearly in distress, from several rooms away at the other vet offices I've taken her to in the past. I could hear the tech/assistant speaking to her softly/soothingly. Clearly they have a very talented and caring staff, and I can rest easy when taking my aging 13 year-old Josephine for both preventative and acute care. As previously stated, I've tried several vets over the past 15 years with my Josephine, as well as my other past/current pets, most of whom have left much to be desired in one aspect or another. But because continuity of care is important, especially with an aging pet, I switched to PAWS two years ago, and I finally felt that I had found an efficacious, capable, and caring veterinary office, and my last/most recent visit a few days ago was just as accommodating, helpful, and genuine as I have come to expect from them. I also feel their cost/pricing is not only fair, but is lower than most, if not all other local vet offices, based on my knowledge of most local vet's prices. I have encouraged quite a few family and friends to choose PAWS when asked for recommendations from those who are first-time pet owners, or to those who are in some way dissatisfied with their current vet. Veterinary care is of great importance to me, because of how important my beloved pets are, most especially my very, very special Josephine, who I would go to the ends of the earth for. So having a vet office that I think so highly of, that has a wonderful, knowledgeable staff, is such an important thing to me. And then to go above and beyond with such a truly caring staff, people that treat their clients of the animal persuasion like their own; with special love and care, and treat their owners with genuine respect, care, and understanding...well that's just the icing on the cake, isn't it?

My first time. Great place! Dr and staff seem kind and knowledgeable. Due to Covid-19 they come out to get your pet. Dr calls you to discuss before you leave. Very happy. Highly recommend.

Compassionate. A true partner in pet well being. Responsive to questions and happy to share knowledge to help clients make the most loving decisions for their pets. I was in a time-sensitive & upsetting situation with my elderly cat. Dr. DeMuynck & Jennifer were attentive and talked me through the top options, costs and what I could expect. They were respectful of my emotionality and that was so appreciated. The practice environment is warm & welcoming. PAWS of New York exceeded my expectations and I have found a new vet that I'll be much more comfortable with, thankfully. Welcome PAWS of New York!

I can not say enough good things about the staff at PAWS. My pup Milo was hit by a car and the staff stayed well beyond closing time to help save our fur love. There are not enough “thank you’s“ in the world for them to understand the gratitude that my family feels for every single one of them.

Dr. Demuynck has a true heart and genuine good nature for tending to our beloved pets. Whether in sickness or health, I feel he is through, gentle, knowledgeable and experienced. He’s the only one I turn to when I need help. Follow up calls so very appreciated. His assistants are pleasant, friendly and hard working. Thank you P.A.W.S of NY.

Absolutely the best vet in our area, the whole staff takes the time to help us with our anxious German shepherd and ensure she is comfortable. The prices are fair and the Vet never recommends unnecessary add on treatments. You can tell he has your pets best interest at heart and as long as he is around we will never go anywhere else. Great group of people and cant say enough great things.
