Agape Veterinary Clinic Horseheads, Pennsylvania

These people are the best. Agape was our dog's veterinary clinic up until the time they both past. When I needed them this past week, they didn't let me down. Our daughter was traveling to the area from Indiana and had her dog with her (Max). Max needed to see a vet urgently while he was here and Agape made it happen. It was short notice right after the Memorial day weekend and they made room in their schedule to see him. They took great care of Max and gave our daughter meds and information to share with her vet back in Indiana. They even called twice to check on Max after the visit. These people care about our pets and when I get ready for more dogs, they will be my veterinary clinic again. As I said at the beginning, they are the best.

I'm so glad I found Agape! My16-year-old cat, Sheetah, was recently diagnosed with hyperthyroidism. I was taking him to a vet in Painted Post and he was getting sick during the car ride. Also, the same vet wanted to do bloodwork every time he needed a refill. Agape is only a few miles away and they don't rip me off with unnecessary bloodwork. On a personal note, the customer service is exceptional! Everyone there is fantastic but Sarah went above and beyond! I didn't realize they closed early on Friday and I came waltzing in a little after 2pm as Sarah was headed out the door. She asked what I needed and I told her that I was there to pick up Sheetah's meds. Instead of telling me to come back on Monday, she went back to her station, turned the computer back on and dispensed his meds so he wouldn't be without them over the weekend. She didn't have to do that and she had no attitude whatsoever - She just wanted to help! THANK YOU!

As always, my furbaby gets so excited when we go. He loves the love and attention they give him (thanks girls for the toy). We have gone there for years. Have never had a complaint.

I can't say enough good things about Agape and I truly feel Dr. Blaha has my dog's best interest every time he is there! Despite the fact that sometimes my dog has to get shots, Junior's tail still wags as soon as we pull in which is a win in my book.

Best vets I've ever been to with my pups honestly. Even with them being short staffed they were thorough and made sure to figure out the problem. They are always so nice to deal with and no matter the breed take amazing care of my dogs(I have 4 dogs- 2 chihuahuas, 1 rotti and 1 pit bull). They are fair on pricing as well. Highly recommend!

I just brought my cat Grayson there for the first time. The office staff was courteous and professional. Dr. Blaha was very thorough and answered all my questions and concerns. I didn’t feel rushed or that I was a burden being there. The vet technicians Jennie and Sara were very kind and compassionate. They all took interest in my cat’s care.

Great staff.... always helpful... dogs actually enjoy going to the vet!! Wouldn’t go ANY place else!! My dog was in bad shape... even after spending the weekend and a lot of money at emergency vets she was worse...Dr Blaha took her first thing Monday to see what she could do for her, she had to be carried in couldn’t walk. Or .get up...really sick... I thought I was going to have to say good bye...????.. I picked her up Monday evening she walked to the car herself!! Total turn around!! Can’t thank them Enough!

Was okay. Just dont like how they take it too far with the covid going on. Have to sit in your car they come out to get your pet then they bring your pet back then they call you with a final bill then a different person comes out to get your payment overall they were atleast polite about everything

I have been taking my dog Lucky here for the last 6 years. They are very helpful, knowledgeable, kind, quick and understanding with any problem I have with Lucky. Their was never a thought that crossed my mind to question any solution they found for Lucky. They knew exactly what was wrong with him and they made it better for him and his future. I would recommend AGAPE to everyone I know. Best place I have ever been too.

Eight years ago I moved back to this area and my cat needed vaccinations so I went to Agape. I was completely happy and satisfied with the care and professionalism of the doctor and the staff. I had moved again, returning to this area 2020. I made a huge mistake and went to another clinic. They were very expensive, did blood work without my knowledge and consent. They charged for nurse visits, WHAT? There is no such thing as a veterinary nurse, they are techs or assistants. I suppose they can charge more using the term "nurse." Anyway, I have returned to Agape and glad I did. My elderly cat (17-years old) was not doing well so I called and they worked her right in. The doctor checked her over, explained everything in detail and listened to my concerns and answered my questions. In addition to the exam, she was given fluids and medications to help make her symptoms better. I was shocked with the cost, I was expecting a large bill but was pleasantly surprised it was just over $200.00 and no surprises with additional charges for "nurse visit." As long as my cat is with me I will continue to take her to Agape. I also feel assured that when the time comes to let her go they will be there and be very supportive.

My dogs have been seeing Dr. Blaha for many years. The doctor is available, kind and professional. The staff are welcoming and helpful. The facility is clean and comfortable. My dogs Abby and Bonnie love it there and we all especially love seeing Uno and Sophia the office mascots!

We are so grateful for the exemplary care of our kitties at Agape. Dr. Blaha and her staff are wonderful, patient, and caring. Their expertise encompasses treating and monitoring our older diabetic cat, an emergency visit or two, and several well visits with all. Whether our kitties are a bit "sassy" during visits, at times challenging(to say the least), or taking a visit in stride and loving the attention, Dr. Blaha and the vet techs adapt and take care of their various needs. Their customer service folks at the front desk are polite and helpful, too. We highly recommend!

We have been taking our dogs and cat to this clinic for a few years now and they provide excellent care at reasonable cost. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and the location itself is kept clean and pleasant.

We just had our first visit at Agape. Dr. Alaimo and the ladies there were so nice, caring and down to earth. I highly recommend you bring your furbabies there. They will be treated very well.

Very caring when I dropped my dog to be cremated. They let me take my time and understood my hurt and pain. Even offered a box of tissues to take with me.
