Patt Veterinary Hospital Gilbertsville, Pennsylvania

We hadn't found a vet for our kitty yet, and I called in a panic to see if they were accepting new patients as we were dealing with a bad ear infection. They were so kind and got us in right away! I know that doesn't always happen, but I guess I called at the right time on the right day. We've been back several times since, along with having our cat neutered and they were amazing. Very thorough, I didn't feel rushed, the doctors spent the time answering any and all questions at all visits. Pricing is very competitive and I couldn't be happier that I found them!

We have a good relationship with the hospital, both for care of our German Shephard, and when our old Kitty was hurt, and needed to be put down. I really like the care they take with the animals. and with the humans. Thank you.

I brought my sons pup for a check up. Everyone was so nice and I felt so welcomed and informed. Great crew, I will be bringing my 2 pups as new clients.

UPDATE!!! I received a call from the office manager who handled my complaint stated in the review below with grace and kindness. She found a way to accommodate me and thereby give better care to my son's dog. I am VERY pleased with how the office manager responded to me and how she wanted to personally reach out to me. Today, I had the next appointment for my son's dog and everyone I came into contact with from the vet to the tech to the front desk people were all gracious. Thank you VERY much for listening and helping me out with my situation! There was a time that I would have given Patt Vet a five star review. This low review is mainly due to their handling of people who can't wear masks. I go into a coughing, gagging, choking asthmatic fit when I wear one, and I have explained this to them. They make ZERO exemptions which I find unkind and discourteous to say the least. They complain to me about my son's dog, but they won't let us go in with the dog who is only 3 months old and therefore is not used to the vet yet. I just wish they had enough common sense and kindness to allow me in with the dog, knowing that I cannot wear a mask. However, prior to this, I have been going there with my other dog almost 6 years and have not had an issue and like the cleanliness and professional demeanor of their practice. If they could just take a common sense, kind, and compassionate approach on this matter..... : (

Patt Veterinary showed us great care and compassion through the months we tried to make our kitty better. Unfortunately, he passed. They were so lovely and even asked us to call them if we just needed to talk. Excellent veterinary practice. Reasonably priced and even helped us with a payment plan when Peanut needed extensive care. I would recommend them to anyone.

UPDATE: this place is still amazing! This place is amazing! I adore the staff. You can really see their passion for animals. They truly go above and beyond. A friend found a newborn kitten and they spent hours trying to track down a rescue. They have taken such great care of my fur babies. I wouldn't go anywhere else. ❤

This place is WONDERFUL!! For starters, when my now ex and I got our Rottie he was underweight, had Rod Infection in both ears, bad diarrhea to the point he was bleeding rectally, and was vomiting constantly. We took him there and they were wonderful with him! They diagnosed everything, explained in detail what was wrong and what needed to be done, and prescribed him the proper diet/meds. He was healthy in no time!! When we got him neutered he developed an infection (due to his chewing the incision spot) and they again fixed him right up with antibiotics and calmed my fears. He was aggressive with people he didn't know, but they still showed him no fear and were playful and loving with him. He came to love going to see them and over a short time gave them absolutely no issues whatsoever! When my cat suddenly started to look skinnier and not eat as much, I took her there and they gave her a complete check-up and confirmed that although nothing was medically wrong with her she was in fact losing a significant amount of weight. They told me to up her wet food to 2X/day and the weight has been put back on and she is now healthy and active again! This company DEFINITELY HAS one HAPPY & GRATEFUL fur-mom!

I find them to be a much more caring vet hospital than most.

Dr ferdock is one of the best doctors that they have there She is compassionate and she knows what she is doing

I brought my latest cat there. She's a stray and new mom. I think they were wonderful with her. She wasn't afraid of them at all. The office is beautiful too and the staff friendly and LGBTQ friendly. All things important to me.

Highly recommend Patt Vet! Always so easy to schedule an appointment and everyone there is so nice and attentive to us and our dog.

I have never had a bad experience here- the staff are wonderful, the doctors are kind, smart, and obvious animal lovers, and their prices are the most reasonable in the area. I feel very fortunate to have found this type of support for my pets.

We have been going to Patts Vet for 31 years! 3 cats and 5 dogs later that all lived healthy long lives. Maggie has gotten a bit wary (understatement) of our visits now but they treat her with patience and compassion. They are always reliable and Dr Ferdok and Heather are our go tos!

I have been taken my dogs to Patt Vet for years. When two of our dogs had to be put to sleep they were caring and sympathetic to us and our dogs. We got a new puppy and the staff is very friendly and very welcoming when we arrive. They take of him in a kind and professional matter. All the vets and staff members there are wonderful. I would recommend anyone looking for a caring office this is your vet.

My family has used Patt Veterinary Hospital for many years. Years ago they would use a travel vet to come to our home. Now as an adult, with my own animals, I wouldn't go anywhere else. We have had emergency visit, that they were able to see us that same day. During the visit they would put out all the options and give the costs associated. They were also honest in giving advice on what was best. After having to say goodbye to one of our cats they sent a Sympathy card which was amazing. I would recommend them to family, friends, and beyond.

I have taken 4 dogs to Patt vet and will be starting on a new puppy soon. They always are welcoming and happy to see the dogs which makes their visit more enjoyable. They always answer any questions i have straight which i always appreciate. I would recommend to anyone looking for a new vet.

I've been going here for years. All the people, from those who watch the desk to the veterinarians, are very professional and have the best interest of my pets in mind. The veterinarians are top notch and incredibly knowledgeable and reliable.

Patt's veterinarians is awesome! My dog Madison and kitty Piper go to this veterinarians. They are very professional and very thorough. I always get a how is Madison/Piper doing a couple of days after their visit if they were sick. Very compassionate doctors and staff!

We have been to many veterinarian’s in the area since We have been living in Pottstown. We heard many good reviews about this practice and thought we would try it. We have been very happy with all the staff and the treatment our pups have received so far.

Rescued Gator on February 29, 2020, a week later he was in with the Vet getting a physical. He has no problem going to the Vet and they love him and treat him well. He had a run in with the Neighborhood cat and they couldn't have been more helpful and caring.

Although this office is a bit pricier than others, we chose to return back to this vet because of the quality of care our pets receive. The staff is caring towards the animals and very friendly to us!

We have been going to Patt's for 30 years and so trust and appreciate them. Appreciate them for their knowledge, honesty and kindness. If our pet has to stay there, they call and keep us informed. If they come home with us, we get a follow up call the next day if they had to be treated. We are like family, who could ask for better?
