Hard to get through on the phone . Dr speaks poor English plus makes it harder to understand since he is wearing a mask . I’m a very educated person but I seem to always leave that office confused after talking to the doctor .

Banfield is money driven and not quality driven. My dog needed a procedure and wanted to charge $1200 once I told them I had another quality vet willing to complete the procedure for $620, they suddenly cut the price in half. They ended up not being able to save my dog and then the wellness plan informed me that even though our dog passed away we still need to pay the wellness plan for the next six months because the dog used more than we put into the plan that year and they need to recoup the rest of the money from the wellness plan to compensate for their investment. Most of the staff are friendly but they never answer the phone, they don’t check or follow up with their messages.

Poor! I have been going to Banfield since Charlie's adoption in 2016, for years everything and everyone was great, now not so much, my last 3 visits have been nothing but aggravation, anger and disappointment. There is never the same vet here anymore every time I make an appointment it's someone else! This past Friday was horrendous. Dropped both my dogs off for teeth cleanings. Received a VOICEMAIL from the vet with somewhat alarming news. Arrived to pick up my pets and there was NO doctor there to explain anything!! He left for the day! What?? You have animals, people's "children' back there coming out of anesthesia and there is no doctor in the building to assist if anyone needs anything or to explain why my dog needs 4 different types of medication? I'm disgusted! I was told the vet would call Monday...I call around 1pm and apparently he was never told to call and there were no notes of my concerns! I've had enough!

Would leave 0 stars if I could. Been bringing my animals here for the last 2/3 years. Everything was great in the beginning, the last 4 times I have been there I have left extremely aggravated. Front desk never has a clue what is going on. Last time I picked my cat up I never heard from the doctor AT ALL and was told he had to leave that day at 2:00. My cat was there from 7 AM - 6 PM having blood drawn multiple times without a doctor on the premises!!! And then never given an explanation as to what is going on with my cat. Not only have I dealt with all of the unprofessional staff but the last 3 times I was there I was told I needed to pay $100-200 without being told before hand or even explained what the charges are actually for. Their highest plan does not cover a single thing. We will not be back Update: I brought my cat to a different Banfield location for the same exact procedure and came to find out that this location has been adding in unnecessary charges. They charged me over $100 for a “hospitalization fee” for his drop off appointment which should be covered through his plan

I've got to Banfield with all of our pets and they never disappoint with their level of care, kindness and consideration, for both pets and pet parents <3 Schedule can be a month or two out still currently due to the pandemic, so be sure to call well in advance just in case <3 They're located within Petsmart so prescription food can be easily found, among other things, and you can relax at Barnes and Nobles or various other stores nearby while you wait, if wanted

I never write negative reviews, but given that Banfield has accepted the responsibility of teaming with all pet owners who join their plan, to support and maintain the health of our beloved pets, I’m writing. Do not sign up for the Wellness plan if you are planning to attempt to use The Fairless Hills location. First, you won’t be able to get through to ask a question or set up an appointment. Once you do get through, the best they can do for an appointment is a month or more in the future, and that’s squeezing you in. I started with Banfield in Fairless 8 years ago. 8 years ago they would see my dog the same day if what I described was concerning. The wait was not terrible, and the Vet spent a more than adequate time examing my dog and addressing any concerns. I am now paying for three dogs a month, and can’t get an appointment, yet they are still accepting new patients. The office staff are very aware that they can not service the number of clients they have, and are extremely apologetic. This is a corporate issue. People’s pets, like their children and other family members, are not a canned good, or bag of chips. They are living, breathing, loved creatures. Time to step up Banfield, and start running your offices at or slightly below capacity , or you can start kissing your corporate jobs goodbye. It is shameful that your staff has to apologize for what is a corporate issue completely out of their control.

It's not the staffs fault, the receptionists and techs are lovely. But they never have any availability for emergencies. And even when we try to book in advance for an issue, they still make us wait up to a month. It's not just this location. I'd rather opt out their wellness plan and use a different pet insurance at a different vet. Our dogs have each had issues in the last 6 months and Banfield never can see them in a timely fashion. We still wind up paying out of pocket to take them somewhere else.

We've brought all of our furkids to Banfield for years, and occasionally pick up treats, or what not while inside Petsmart too. The staff is great, they always treat our animal's with as much care as we do, and that resonates a lot with us. We made sure to have the optimum wellness plan's for each and every pet we've had, and holy s*** has it saved us a bundle.

Dr. Vishal Adav butchered my 5 month old puppy for her spay surgery. Her incision is 3 times the size it should be and is jagged. I will never let him treat my dog again. As a response to Banfield, I reached out to the Banfield cares team on 4/30/21 to date I have not heard back from anyone. This is extremely upsetting. One week later and I still have not heard back from Banfield Cares team, obviously they don’t “care”.

Do you Want to wait a month for an appointment? Do want a different vet to see your pet every couple months because of all of the turn over in staff ? Do you like impatient employees and waiting forever in your car or in the room before you’re seen ? Do you enjoy being rushed through your appointment because they’re over scheduled? If you answered yes to these questions, then Then this is the vet for you. I was a 9 year customer that left because of all the nonsense here. It’s surely gone downhill . Maybe a different banfield is better but stay clear of Fairless Hills....

Poor service at this Banfield in fairless hills, I get it you can be understaffed but my dog was acting really abnormal for weeks and all I wanted was a call back to see if I should take her to an emergency room or see if another Banfield should take another look at her it’s already been 2-3 weeks and still no phone call from them. Thankfully I called the Banfield in Princeton and they were quick to give me a call back right in the same day! Within hours! And my dog had an appointment scheduled within the same week! They too are understaffed but they actually care and know how to work under those conditions. Will not ever be going back to Fairless Hills I strongly recommend the Banfield in Princeton!

Ridiculous, I took two of my cats for a checkup visit. I usually go to PAWS on grant Avenue but recently moved. They wanted to charge me $165 JUST TO BE SEEN. Are you kidding??? They do not care about your pets, they just want money. Go to PAWS, do the extra 15 min drive. There prices are low, and they truly care about your pets. I will never come here again

I normally don’t post negative reviews, but after this morning, I am extremely upset with this location and their lack of a response to the issue I had. This morning, my fiancé and I woke up and immediately noticed that one of our two dogs was missing his flea and tick collar. After searching everywhere for it and finding a few chewed up pieces in our yard, we obviously deduced that one of our dogs had eaten it. Naturally worried, we immediately called our vet. The phone rang and rang. It took me 11 times to get through. When someone finally answered, they asked if it was an emergency, and I said yes and explained what happened. The person who answered told me they really only deal with wellness calls and that they couldn’t help me because they had no room anyway. I was very upset since I know time is an important factor when worried about a possible toxicity issue and expressed my frustration on the issue because THIS IS OUR PETS’ VET after all! If we can’t rely on them, then who can we rely on? I understand that some issues need to go to vsec (who were also of no help to me and directed me to poison control and told me they don’t know anything about toxicology...which is alarming for an emergency hospital but I digress). The woman who answered proceeded to not really have an answer for me, so I hung up. To me, this is unacceptable. We PAY these people monthly to care for our pets. This isn’t the first time I have been displeased with their services, but it was definitely the last straw. If your curious as to what happened, I eventually contacted the product hotline after being on hold with poison control for over half hour. The product hotline answered right away and walked me through the steps necessary to help our pet. They’ve earned customers for life while Banfield will no longer be on our monthly billing list after I speak to their customer service. There is no trust in our end that they’re capable of helping us in a time of need.

ANGEL is so grateful for Dr Heba. She acted promptly in advising that Angel should seek out emergency care at local facility. Her timely and professional decision may help immensely in Angel's future health. Now as a person Dr Heba is kind and very caring. She took the time out of her very busy schedule to telephone Angel's family as soon as she received report about Angel to check on her. We are very grateful for Dr Heba !! And Banfield plus all of their kind personnel.

I wish they would answer the phone! Every time I call I can never get anyone on the line... When you do get them to answer the phone, they give out ridiculous appointment dates and tell you to call another Banfield or to go to the ER. I signed up for the wellness plan as it appeared like a great program, but that's not the case. You can't even use something that you pay for.

Dr A deserve 5 stars but the way you are treated about billing and having questions is horrible. Had 2 dogs on well ness plans and one passed. Took him off plan and kept other on. Then we adopted a puppy and put on plan. Well puppy was very agressive and bit 3 family members so we had to rehome her. My wife called to remove puppy as other dog was still on plan getting billed every month. So took dog there yesterday and show up to pick up and we are charged. Full price for visit. Contact them and they remove the wrong dog and was told there was nothing they could do. So good bye and my dogs will be going to a different vet for now on.

This review is based solely on the customer service that I received today from Sara, Banfield Pet Hospital in Fairless Hills, Pa. I am new to the area and I wanted to set up a new appointment for my pets and I spoke with Sara, a representative of the pet hospital and she was so professional and welcoming from start to finish! She answered all of my questions thoroughly and she addressed all of my initial concerns with the greatest amount of compassion that anyone could ask for from a telephone representative. Great job Sara! I will give my rating of the other services that I made an appointment for in the near future.

We recently became new clients of the Fairless Hills facility with our dog Max. He is a lovable mini bernedoodle that up until today never had any issues going to the vet. We had a 9:15am appointment today for a follow-up vaccination; in my opinion should be an in and out thing. However when they took him back and tried to administer the shot, he was getting aggressive to the staff and they wanted to keep him for about an hour for him to calm down a bit before attempting again. After about 3 hours of not hearing anything my wife reached out to them and they said he was ready for pickup. So if she didn't call were they ever going to call us? To make a long story short when my wife arrived to pick him up, he still was not ready! The tech came out and said they were having trouble, and wanted to put a muzzle on him, but couldn't, and wanted my wife to do it, which she did. She then was asked to come back to comfort him when they attempted again to administer the shot. The tech or vet, not sure who was asking my wife whether to put him on the table or not to do this. Isn't this your job? Shouldn't you know how to do this? My wife then lifted him onto the table, and the tech proceeded to jam the needle so hard, that it poked thru the other side of his shoulder skin, and the vaccine was sprayed onto the table! The tech at this point got upset and said "I can't do this, I can't do this!" At this point my wife just said forget it! He's been here for 4 hours already! I'll just take him somewhere else. The tech then proceeded to get nasty and shrugged my wife off and said "you're welcome" in a snarky manner. I don't know what they did to my dog, but when I reach out to him he hunkers down, shows his teeth and growls. I hope this stops and is just due to the stress of today.. I assure you, this place is a joke! It's like the land of the misfit Dr's who couldn't make it at a real professional office! I will never return to Banfield again, and I hope this review helps others to not make the mistake of ever setting foot in the door. They are rude, clueless, unprofessional, unqualified. If you truly love your pet, please take them elsewhere.
