Dr. Burke always has great ideas about how to improve care and many of those ideas do not include costs!

The best vet around the area, highly recommend. We moved in a area about a year ago and needed a new vet for my Bengal cat. Everyone is super nice and helpful at the front desk and the doctors are the best. Couldn't be more happier with our choice.

A bright and airy clinic with a kind, efficient, professional staff. They were outstanding with a older cat who isn't keen on leaving the house!

I had to use them last week as my cat got suddenly ill with large lung tumor and had to put her down. They were very understanding qnd compassionate. They even sent our family flowers the next day and mailed a sympathy card.

This facility has provided both of my pets excellent service for the past nearly decade. I wouldn't think of going elsewhere. The doctors and their staff are great and really work hard to make sure that you are happy with your veterinary experience.

The staff here are kind and gentle! Brought my cat there to be cremated after he passed . I left feeling better about his loss

We have seen both Dr. Valdes and Dr. Burke and they are amazing with our pup. They are up to date with current veterinary medicine and you can tell they truly love their patients. The staff is professional, responsive, and always greets our girl with lots of pets.

The doctor and the herbalist were very helpful for my dog. I felt like they knew what they figured out the problem and knew what they were doing to resolve it. Grateful to them.

Seven years ago, after 14 years of taking our beloved Maggie Mae to Thoreau, Maggie died peacefully in the gentle and loving care of Dr. Burke. On January 12th, 2021, we were adopted by Billy, a two-year-old rescue. There was no question of where we were going to take Billy for care. We went right back to Thoreau! They remembered us and are already taking wonderful care of our new family member, Billy. They are the best.

I am a practicing veterinarian from another state who is currently staying in Pennsylvania with family following a medical event. It’s a stressful situation to search for a vet out of my comfort area when I literally know dozens that could help me after 20 years in my current location. My dog has a history of urinary issues. I was looking for an AAHA-accredited hospital (known for high quality) and a practice willing to quickly accommodate seeing a dog who was not their regular patient. I was able to obtain an appointment with Dr Valdes within 24 hours. I had met the very kind Dr Burke several years prior, and the visit with Dr Valdes went exactly as anticipated. Mandy, the technician, and Dr Valdes were great communicators about diagnostics, the treatment plan, the budget, and both took time to make sure all of my questions were answered. They were both kind and gentle with my pup, who *loved* it there, as you can see from the photo! (She is anxiously awaiting the return of her new friends to the exam room). It was extra kind for Mandy to walk my dog out to the parking lot and car since I have mobility impairments. As an out of town vet, I am no doubt viewing this visit with a much more critical view than the average client, and I was 100% satisfied!

I don't think there is anything that needs to be done to make my experience any better. I love the doctors and the staff here..they are always so friendly and compassionate. I wouldn't trust Mia's care anywhere else!

This is the best vet in the area! We take all four of our cats here. We moved to the Lehigh Valley about 5 years ago and went to 4 or 5 other places until we found this place. They practice conventional veterinary medicine, but they also offer natural options if that's your preference. One of their vet techs is even an herbalist!

everyone there is friendly and helpful. We are grateful to have such caring people so close by to care for our furbabies.
