Dr. Torres could not have been more helpful + thoughtful during the passing of our childhood pet. As horrible as it is to have to put down an old friend, she made sure it was a gentle process and did not rush our goodbyes. We were able to enter from the back so our cat would not feel overwhelmed by waiting room chaos. She gave us an imprint of our cat’s paws and sent a sympathy card to our home afterwards. Would recommend Dr. Torres to anyone looking for a trustworthy vet.

Owner is very old and doesn’t know what he is doing. The wife tells him what to do. My usual vet didn’t have openings. They kept pushing bloodwork and other expenses that were not needed because my vet just did them. They gave my dog a shot (that was not needed) and she has been throwing up bile since then and can’t eat or drink. I will have to take her elsewhere on top of spending $250 with them and they told me the visit was $90. They make you sit a long time in the exam room while you can hear them in the next room talking about ways to get more money from your visit. Worst place I’ve ever been to as far as a vet.

We weren't even a client and they took us in. Pricing was reasonable and staff was kind.

I brought my puppy here and this place out of all I have been to, has provided me and my dog Brady with the BEST care. They are also very affordable and will give discounts. Every other place near here is very expensive. I also got my dog neutered, they took great care of us and I come every year for vaccinations.

They where very nice and explained everything to us, they are willing to work with u. We had anothsr vet that took us for 600.00 dollars. They even called the other vet wanting to know what they did . Cause they knew thdy didnt do us right. They will be are vet from know on. I like them alot i.

To high priced just to get a female cat fixed. Then her ears need cleaned that's also another $200 pretty ridiculous and need to work on your English

They were very helpful and knowledgeable about every question I had. They took very good care of my 2 cats that needed spayed.

I called in because my cat was in pain, something was definetley wrong with her leg. They were really nice and let me come in immediatley for an emergency appointment, my cat Amber is lucky to alive thanks to them. Amber had been in so much pain she was limping around the house and then eventually couldnt bring herself to even walk around, and she barely ate. They did blood work, it was a really good price compared to other veterinary offices in the area. I don't make much money so I was happy they did not cost me a fortune. They also did X-rays and found out that her leg was not broken. She had an infection, and they even showed me the X-rays and the blood work (not many places will be that up front and nice to you about the whole process). In the end, she got better with the treatments that Dr. Tariq gave. He gave her some shots in the clinic, and then sent her home with medication. She no longer limped around in pain, so I could tell immediatley that whatever the doctor gave her worked!! Will definitley be reccomending this place to other friends and family. If you want really good care for your pet for an affordable price, this is the place to go!!!

The doctor and his assistant who run the office are very nice. That being said, I brought my two parrots in for a nail trim and yearly check up. After the exam started it showed that they were not equipped to handle small birds. I ended up holding one for her nail trim after recommending using a towel to wrap her, as I’ve seen a previous vet do. The other bird is not as friendly and after chasing her around for 20 min the vet ended up pinning her against her cage to clip her nails. It all felt a bit too rough for such small and delicate birds. Again, the vet and assistant were kind, and I don’t think they intended to hurt my birds, it just felt like an issue of inexperience with them.

Quaint little place, right down the street from my house. Veterinarian has a great bedside manner and I feel good about having the emergency response peace of mind.

Don’t recommend them, tried to rip me off. I told them on the phone and in person 4 times each that the cat was a new patient and he kept calling him my dog’s name. Then he kept insisting on blood work because he thought he was my 13 year old dog and charge me $110.50. I kept telling him it was not the dog and my cat was new. He and lady went to back room and talked in their language and came out and said he needed surgery. Never told me what was wrong, cost, or what he had to do! Just expected me to say yes. Well no! Because I wouldn’t spend $110 he thought he could get more money this way. No mention of surgery until they talked.

Do not take your pet here! I called on a Friday because our poor dog threw out his hip. I called the animal hospital to see if they were able to treat our dog, we even discussed prices in office visits and x rays. I had my husband take him in because he’s 118 lbs and needed to be carried in. Instead of treating our dog for his hip (I watched him throw out his hip walking up our steps) they decided to run blood work to test for Lymes and other things. $530 later they told my husband they couldn’t treat him for his hip because they didn’t have the right type of x ray equipment and that they’d have to refer us another clinic. They didn’t even TOUCH his leg! He’s still in pain and we are already out hundreds of dollars.

The only reason they are getting a 1 star review is because a ZERO isn't available. They completely misdiagnosed my kitten. COMPLETELY, as in the bloodwork that they ran showed no signs of kidney issues, yet they said they needed to keep him overnight and then gave me kidney medication and prescription food without even treating for the symptoms of diarrhea - the reason I brought him in. After picking up my kitten, I requested copies of his blood-work since what they were telling me wasn't making any sense. The next day, I called back to say his uncontrollable diarrhea is back - they said he shouldn't have it anymore. I ended up taking our kitten to Rossmoyne ER on Saturday as well as spoke to a new vet; gave them the blood-work results. Both vets basically said WTF about treating a kitten for kidney disease when the blood test results clearly state otherwise. *the doctor at Tri-County couldn't do much of anything on his own, his assistant had to walk him through the paperwork that needed filled out, what to say to me etc. He couldn't find my kitten's records, couldn't tell me why he wanted to order another test nor what the price would be too"

We had both our dogs treated here. The doctor and staff are very nice, easy to talk to and very caring towards our animals.

My father and I have been taking our pets here since the 80's. VMD. Tariq has treated all our pets with the best care that he could give. Everything for yearly check ups to animal attacks and surgeries. When he examine my pets you can tell he cares about animals and when the best for my pets. I have and will continue to recommend him to everyone who needs a good vet. Thank you, Robert G. Helm JR. & Sr. Updated 1/5/17 Both my cats have been attacked again and one twice which almost killed him. A coyote had gotten a hold of him right outside my home. The coyote took a massive chunk out of his head a broken his skull. Right before this attack he just healed up from an attack that had gotten extremely infected and after he worked on him he healed nicely. After 3 attacks within a month both cats have healed nicely due to dr. Tariq's work.. Thank you very much for saving Tiger & Tom for me!! Robert G. Helm Jr. Update: 6/9/18 My cat Tommy was had gotten sick on 6/3/18 and I called vet on Sunday 6/4/18 and he asked me if was eating or drinking. I said no, he said bring him in a half an hour. He was there for a few days and turned out he was severely poisoned and soon would of died. 6/9/18 and Tommy is doing great. I'm gratefully thankful for Dr. Tariq & his family! We have used Dr. Tariq for over 15 years. When he had to help us say goodbye to one of our beloved dogs he was so caring. We took the dog to a pet crematory and they asked me who my vet was. I told them Dr. Tariq. They said that I should be very impressed because my vet treated my dog with the same dignity in death as he must provide to them while they are living. They said our dog had been "placed" and they were very impressed with the respect shown to our deceased dog. Dr. Tariq's wife is a sweetheart and so good with the animals as well. I trust them both very much with all of our pets!

We have been bringing our animals here for 20+ years. Dr. Tariq is wonderful with our animals. We have had our dogs and cats neutered here along with vaccinations. Dr. Tariq can be reached no matter what time it is for an emergency. I would highly recommend Dr. Tariq to everyone.

I had to put my 19 year old cat down after she suffered a debilitating stroke. The doctor went above and beyond to ease her pain. The office staff we friendly and comforting. Definitely one of the best vets around.

If I could give no stars I would. NEVER, EVER take your pet here. Took her in first thing in the morning and was told that she needed to stay for testing and observation and would get a call around 1pm when the results were in. Hearing nothing, we went in to find out what was going on. The doctor was no longer in the building and she was left in a kennel with only an assistant in the building. After being told the doctor would be back in 15 min, we left and returned then with someone new behind the desk (receptionist) saying he would be back in 30 min. Staying and waiting this time the doctor eventually called the office after 45 min and said that he would not be back in office until 5. With that we left and waited for a call, a call that was never made because the receptionist unknowingly left right behind us. Close to 6 when the doctor finally returned, she had passed. With the doctor even knowing the results, knowing she had little chance of survival, she was left all alone and in pain, not even giving us an option but to wait around. This is the WORST place you could EVER take your pet. If the doctors personal life is more important than the patients he's willing to take in, then he should be shut down!!!

IF I COULD GIVE A NO STAR I WOULD! DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE! I brought my dog in for a wound. After 2 visits with him, Macy was not getting any better. She was getting worse. Her wound got infected and obviously did not smell good. The nurse was so nice but here is what she had to say. About 2 weeks after our last visit with this doctor, she came to us at our home. Told us that she had recently quit because of the doctor. She stated that while Macy was there, he proceeded to spray fabreeze in her wound. This is why she wasn't getting any better. After we found this out, we went to a new vet. This vet told us because of the toxins going into her wound, her muscles actually started deteriorating. After $1800 worth of vet bills to try and get her better, there was just too much deterioration and we ended up having to put her down. DO NOT GO HERE! I REPEAT, DO NOT! MY STORY ISN'T THE ONLY BAD ONE THAT I'VE HEARD FROM THIS VET.
