They took great care of our cat. She usually has to be sedated to get her claws trimmed but they were able to do it without and she did great with them! So glad I found them!

I liked this place in the beginning. After a couple of times of trying to call and email no responds. The phone is on a busy tone all the time. It is very frustrating when your trying to get a hold of them. ????

I recently took my cat here & I can't say enough positive things about my experience. The office fit us in on a busy day and the service was prompt efficient and professional. My cat is temperamental and they handled him well. They contacted me before they performed any procedures and I appreciated that. The staff was warm and made me feel at ease. Staff genuinely cares for animals and makes you feel welcome when you come in, no matter what the visit is for. I have a high-strung dog and they never make me feel bad or guilty for it, they just go with the flow. Sure it can be expensive, but I feel the care here is good and I also like that they are still locally owned. So many vet clinics are selling to larger corporations, and it shows. I hope they don't! I'd much rather support a locally owned and operated company! Most times appointments run on time with minimal wait. If there is a wait, they explain it and that's all I need to remain patient. I understand how unpredictably busy a vet hospital can get, so as long as the staff communicates what's going on, I'm good. They also don't try to sell you everything under the sun, which I greatly appreciate. The staff seems to work together well, which makes me feel comfortable that this is a good place. The reason for not giving 5 stars is that when my dog needs a sick appointment, it can be hard to get in. I understand how busy the schedule can be, believe me. I used to work in the industry! But it is also frustrating to be a patient there and have to wait. It's a difficult balance, I know, to keep appointments available for sick patients while still making sure you aren't wasting time. Also, the bio-hazard waste fee they charge with a vaccine visit is ridiculous. Just build that into another fee and don't show it as a line-item as a $3 charge in my opinion. Overall it's a good place that feels like a home-town establishment and has a friendly, warm staff.

Our beloved cat become sick and we were able to get in the same day I called. He was pretty sick and had to be put to sleep. Dr Shew and the staff was more than compassionate and where very sympathetic to our situation. This is the first time we've been here, but would highly recommend.

We recently switched to Lincoln Way Animal Hospital and have been impressed by their customer service. Recently my 8 month old German Shepherd became ill and stopped eating so we brought him in. I love my dogs like family, however finances are always a concern when dealing with the unknown. Moving forward they completed their initial checkup and then proceeded to call me and explain their findings. At this point they gave me a few options and also the respective price points for said routes of treatment and left the ball in my court. Treatment was provided and a detailed explanation was provided to me. A day later and my boys’ health was still the same so they promptly scheduled him in for additional evaluation. Again everything that was being provided was explained and included price points so that I was able to make financially sound decisions. Moving forward they provided their diagnosis and suggested that he seek treatment at the animal emergency center. I moved forward with that recommendation and he was treated there with surgery. Fast forward about 2 weeks post surgery and it was time for suture removal. We contacted Lincoln Way and they promptly scheduled him. Long story I know, however when my wife brought him in for his appointment they greeted him as if he was one of their own and commented on how they were worried about him. It means a lot when you take your little fur dude in and they treat him like family. On top of that we anticipated on having to pay more money to have the sutures removed, but they said that since they referred him there would be no charge. All in all it has been a great experience with them and it’s great to have Charley back in action with his brother.

I recently had my first expierence with Lincoln way Animal hospital. They did not make me feel welcomed at all, when the doctor called me she didn’t even specify who she was which became instantly confusing since everything is over the phone. The receptionist recommended muzzling my 11 week old puppy when he has very little to no issue nipping. Then after this not great expierence they told me he needed surgery (which I was expecting) they acted like it was very urgent but wouldn’t schedule him for two weeks. After 24 hours they sent me an estimate for surgery. Let me just say I was Mind blown at the cost. Knowing he had a previous surgery and that cost I knew something wasn’t right here. I called all of the other local vets and they believed Lincoln way animal hospital was trying to take advantage of me. I started seeing a new vet and they have already had me in for a check up and surgery has just been done. (It’s been 6 days since my original appt with Lincoln way)... when I called to discuss the pricing difference and my concerns the receptionist just kept saying she was glad I found someone I could afford to go to.... like they had the right to charge $1500 more than everywhere else.. terrible service. They did not treat my dog right and they really didn’t seem to care what happened to him if this surgery wasn’t done soon enough. Best friends Animal Hospital is so great, they treated me and my puppy with respect, kindness and they will forever have my business. Be careful who you trust your furry family members with, you don’t know what’s happening behind closed doors.

This hospital was a great place for my animals. I recently lost my dog and a cat and they were so compassionate with me and my animals. I would tell anyone to go there. It never smells like a vets office either very clean facility. Thank you for helping my family thru difficult times with our fur babies!

Quality and compassionate care when my furry friends and family need them the most. They are always honest and straightforward. Sometimes the office staff can be a little "fussy and rude". But I'll probably always take my pets to Lincoln Way. 4/5.

Do not take your pet here. I took my pet in for a booster shot and they not only gave her the booster shot, but also gave her two additional shots that I did not want my pet to have. My bill should've been around $20 but was instead nearly $170. I tried to talk to them about it but they refused to admit fault. Very disappointed because I always recommended them to friends and family prior to this.

Do not bring your pets here. We dropped our dog off for a routine dental cleaning and they decided to pull two of her teeth. No phone call, no consent, no effort at all to contact us. Another family member had the exact same experience.That is unacceptable.

This is a great clinic with a great, compassionate staff. They have helped our barn cats at Franklin County 4-H Therapeutic Riding Center numerous times & we couldn't have been happier.

They gave my cat back to me covered in blood.They seriously couldn't have taken an extra minute or 2 to clean her up.I am disgusted!!!!!!

was able to get our cat taken care of immediately and we got some answers which is a great relief....staff was friendly and accommodating. Dr was very nice and easy to talk with about our concerns. Will go back to see them again.

Love Dr. Shew and her techs. The each work so hard to assure Cider gets the care he needs. When we were very heartbroken from losing our senior lab, Dr Shew monitored our new puppy, making sure his puppy issues were cleared. He is now a healthy, silly boy. Thank you LWAH for always being there for us!!

Our dog and cat have received excellent, compassionate care at Lincoln Way Animal Hospital. Even with the current restrictions, Dr. Alt and the staff have made our visits smooth and informative.
