As a new customer, I am already so grateful for Dr. Vought and the rest of the team. I don't know how they find the time to help everyone, but they do. They're direct, responsive, affordable, and give me confidence that my cats are in good hands - exactly what I need. Thank you!!

Took my beloved cat there twice in one month for excessive weight loss. They said he was perfectly healthy. He died two weeks after last visit. He was four. Response Edit: What's unfortunate is that you took blood work and found him to be healthy when he was clearly sick from something, I (not a veterinarian) could not diagnose myself. And if there was something in the medical records which indicated further diagnosis and indicated treatment which you could have provided, it would have been nice to know on the first visit, let alone the second. Charging inordinately for multiple visits when you could have identified the issue and given treatment initially, is immoral. I know you're a busy person and in the current climate things are rough, but this is your profession. I loved this cat dearly and treated him better than any human I've ever known and did everything I could for him in his dying days. I would have brought him back if I wasn't simply given appetite enhancers and vomit reducers. Well he did eat a lot towards the end, but it wasn't enough. In fact this is the second time I've had a cat die within weeks of botched diagnosis from Derry veterinarians. I came to you because I no longer trusted Ridgeview and now I'll travel elsewhere for better care.

Dr Vought is in her field due to passion. I drive well out of my way to come see her, especially when I have scary medical cases (ie-feral cat with dislocated hip and broken tail) that most vets wouldn’t want to deal with. Seriously, vets look at me with a feral cat, and send me home with something they think will help, but it never does, because they won’t even examine the cat. (I work in animal rescue so deal with a lot of hurt animals) She made me feel comfortable and not unwelcome, and kept in touch regarding surgery updates the whole way. Her team is great and you should always bring donuts or Cookies, I don’t think they’ll disagree <3

My Granddaughters cat was semi feral, she did a good job handling her. And was able to check her out even though she's difficult. I highly recommend Vought Veterinarian in Derry Pa

Dr. Vought and her team are amazing! They offered everything they could to help our little bunny, who ended up having a growing tumor. They squeezed us into the schedule & didn’t charge an outrageous price for it. While there wasn’t much anyone could do for him, they still tried. They made sure he was comfortable until the end and were always there to ask any questions or run him in for a quick visit to check him out. Highly recommended!!

I have a very anxious torbie cat at home that turns from angel to ... something else... when I try to take her to the vet. I had Vought Vet come to my home to give her a physical and her vaccines, and she didn't realize what was even happening until the very end and the doctor remained calm, and handled her so well. I appreciate the home services that keep my from further stressing my fur baby out. Fully recommend them!

Great staff..very friendly. Last year when I had to help my Daisy cross the rainbow bridge, Dr Vought could not have been any more compassionate and gentle. Her prices are VERY good and you won't have a long wait for a visit even as an overbook appointment.

This was our very first visit - and an emergency situation. I initially contacted her because she's a Mobile Vet, and having someone that could come to my house to see my tribe is just a better way to get them healthcare. Not only did she take time from her off hours, and a family event, to coach me through making him more comfortable 'in the meantime', but she saw him first thing in the morning. She's very nice, knowledgeable and explains the Hows and Whys of treatment. He was very relaxed with her. I think we've found our new vet -- Dr Danielle Vought is definitely someone I can feel comfortable taking my "babies" to - I have 5. (Appt for my nearly 8 yr old, male, neutered cat with a urinary emergency) Thank you, Dr Vought!

I first contacted this vet because the previous one I was taking my senior pug kept telling me to put him to sleep because of his aggression towards strangers. They made a meet and greet appointment for him, and you could see the difference between the two vets. Even my pug could tell, and only reacted once. Dr. Vought had no problem understanding Hemi's limits. She went above and beyond again when I needed to bring my other dog in, who is terrified of almost everything. Due to COVID, I couldn't come in, but they sent me a picture of him being cuddled by the vet. I trust them to put the welfare of my pets first and take their needs into consideration over just trying to make money and quickly rush the patient out the door.

Love that we found dr vought she is awesome and brought our dog precious back to being able to walk again after she hurt her back paw. She’s always there when you need her and cares about all her patients! ????.

Danielle has seen both dogs and both cats and done them great service. Saved my dog performing emergency surgery while we were on vacation and hospitalized him at her clinic until we could return for him. The dog would most definitely have died had she not intervened and now over two years later he walks around with no issues and being not even 8 years old she has given us many more happy years with him. But wait, there’s more! Being a farm vet she sees any animal one might want to raise living in the Laurel Highlands area. While I don’t have horses (yet) or other large farm animals, we do have several ducks and chickens and the one duck also would have died had she not performed minor surgery (bumblefoot) and given antibiotics. Let me tell you giving a duck a syringe 3x a day spaced 8 hours apart is an experience. It’s hard to find a vet that has the knowledge and skill set to care for the wide variety of animals she can. Lastly I’d comment I have little love for medical professionals. Most doctors I’ve met especially tend to be arrogant, pushy and care very little for the patients concerns. Danielle is not one of those doctors. She does not have a God complex. She truly wants to educate the patient and partner with them to make the best decision for their animals. I’ve found her to have very good bedside manner. This is impressive because of the demands placed on her working all hours of the night out of her own home, often sacrificing time with her children and husband to attend to the needs of her patients. She would only do this because she cares about the quality of care everyone receives. Do yourself a favor and if you are in need of a competent, professional vet then Danielle is your best choice!

She is the most caring vet I've ever used for my pets. She has helped me through some difficult times when it was time for my dogs and cats to go over the rainbow bridge. She is very caring and so is her staff.

I don’t understand how anyone could post a negative review. The vet and staff are only concerned for the well being of your beloved pet. I just had my 3 small dogs there for a check up and allergy shot. Dr Vought prescribed meds for the trip there since my little ones aren’t the best travelers. I have to say that it was the best trip ever with the dogs. Then the appointment went well and the dr came out to explain things to me before I left. If you’re looking for a great vet, I encourage you to give Dr Vought and her staff a try.

Dr. Vought is an amazing vet, she’s a very kind and caring person as well. Her staff is prompt, and very welcoming. I especially like her email system that helps to remind me when to schedule appointments and check ups. Any time that I needed emergency care, she is there us! Thanks for being a great vet!

These people are amazing! Staff and technicians go above and beyond for every animal that crosses their path, with an extremely fast response every time you need them. Dr. Vought has operated on and saved countless animals that other vets deemed a lost cause. That woman literally makes miracles happen! They are professional and courteous, but personal, you can tell they actually care. Your animal is not just another number or file with them.

As with other types of doctors, people tend to base their experience and reviews on any single interaction. But Dr. Vought has been my vet since she began practicing and seen me through many ups and downs as well as one euthanasia with nothing but compassion and honesty. She performed emergency surgery to save my dog from bloat, she has helped us navigate severe allergies and nutrition and she even helped me stick to a “livestock budget” while treating a beloved duck. If there is any negative quality worth mentioning, it is that Dr. Vought cares about the animals more than herself. As one of the few emergency veterinarians in the area, she is often bombarded with calls and texts at all hours of the night and she bends over backwards to do whatever she can whenever she possibly can, all while juggling 4 kids and 3 dogs of her own. She deserves an award.

Absolutely AMAZING Vet! So glad I found her. A couple of weeks ago my sister called me hysterical that he needed a vet asap. Her little Shitzu had taken a seizure so bad his eyes literally popped out of his head and were dangling and bleeding like crazy. This was late on a Saturday. We texted Danielle who responded immediately and made herself available to my sister who was not a customer of hers. My sister fully expected to be putting the dog down but Danielle was able to save him. She performed surgery and removed one eye and was able to save the other. She was able to do all that for a fraction of what commercialized vets would do it. I HIGHLY recommend Danielle!! You won't be disappointed.

My chihuahua/ daushund mix hurt herself and had could not use her back legs. This was my first time and when the vet came in she immediately sat on the floor with my girl. She listened and gave me the best options for the money I had on me. I think the steroids are working so its gonna take time for her to heal. Definitely recommend Dr. Vought.
