My dog received his yearly check-up and shots. Dr. King was caring as always.

The receptionists are very rude. Dr. King is a great vet, but it’s not worth it to have to deal with his staff. Absolutely a joke of a place. Try hiring more professional staff.

Our family has been going to Steinbachs for over 40 years. They always have been professional and taking very good care of our pets. I've referred multiple friends to this Clinic and they all had good experiences as well. It's nice to have someone you can trust

I've been bringing my Rottweiler here for about a year and a half. Dr King is fortunately old school, not just out for the cash, and doesn't run a revolving door clinic trying to maximize his income. The staff I've found to be responsive and pleasant to work with. Prices are very reasonable and as stated this is luckily not a corporation owned clinic focused on profit.

The lady receptionist with the long jet black hair had a completely poor and stank attitude when I dropped off my sister's dog. I have a dog and will not ever bring her here. I even told my sister please do not ask me to bring your dog back, because her attitude was HORRIBLE! Everyone else seemed pleasant and professional.

Highly recommend this Vet office. Just moved to the area and had no idea where to take my adult cat who became critically ill so suddenly. I am thankful that I took a chance on this place. Dr. Kelly was absolutely wonderful with her bedside manner, intelligence, and compassion for my beloved pet. Unfortunately the diagnosis wasn't good however she made the euthanasia process (my first one) go smoothly. The front staff was also supportive and provided us privacy during such a painful time. I plan to take my other pet here in the future for his medical care. The extended hours they have here as well as being a hospital is a major plus. Thank you again for fitting my pet in so quickly and ending his suffering in the most humane way! Updated review as of 2021: There was a shortage of vets employed in the practice for whatever reason. Dr. King may have had more demands on his time during this period, however my senior cat received poor care. Had lost 11 pounds with anorexia. I was sent home with no direction on what to do to get him to eat. Told he was fine after labs were normal with no cause identified for his weight loss, and to come back in 2 weeks for a weight check. Needless to say, his condition worsened and I chose to go to another vet who confirmed cancer. I subsequently euthanized to end his suffering. I'm not blaming anyone for my pet's cancer but I am blaming for the lack of compassion. Additionally, I was told to return that same day by the vet when the office was closed! I waited a half hour inside while on call for my job. I was also charged for an x-ray that I knew nothing about. Additionally, I found it off putting in the Spring that the vet had a mask hanging off his nose although was vaccinated. When I called to say the cat had died, staff gave no condolences. This might have been an off day for the practice but I will not be returning. My pets prior to this received good care.

Terrible place!! I recently bought a pup at PetsPlus and was told she was treated for heart worm and would just need to be rechecked in 6 months. I made an appt at Steinbach because my pup was coughing and it was recommended she get a Heart Worm test to see if she still had them. When I got there Sarah gave me the biggest attitude and told me she was not fully treated and it would be a long process which is untrue. Not sure why she gave me false information when she in fact already had treatment. Oh, and they NEVER rechecked her, they gave us a X-ray and said she had pneumonia: When I called about this out of confusion nobody could give me an answer. I called everyday for a week and every time someone said they’d call me back it never happened! It gets even worse. Dr. King prescribed too much medication for my small dog and she ended up getting super disoriented (falling, bumping into the wall, tripping) she also was extremely lethargic to the point she’d urinate in her sleep. Eyes bloodshot red. We thought she was overdosing!! Not sure how he is a vet when he couldn’t even prescribing the correct dosage of medication that could of caused fatality!! Do not bring your pets here

I can't say enough to express how wonderful Steinbach vet is. Caring staff and Dr King is one in a million for sure. They have been very thorough with my cats. The prices are reasonable. They don't knock your socks off charging as much as other vets I've been to. What a breath of fresh air! Thank you Dr King!

Staff is wonderful and really cares about animals. Dr. King is awesome! I come all the way from Philly ad its worth the drive with crying cats! They cared for my sister's dogs as well. I can't say enough about this place!

My family has been bringing our pets to Steinbach for longer than I've been alive. There isn't a vet practice around that I trust more. Also, the evening hours are a godsend if you work 9-5

I've been a dog owner for 35 years now. Steinbach has been my vet of choice for all of my precious hounds. Trust is key.

Great first experience here, our black lab mix Jake can get very anxious and afraid in places and people he isn’t familiar with. However he warmed up to both the vet tech as well as the vet herself very quickly! We are bringing our other dog Charlotte

Been using Steinbachs and Dr. King for over 40 years. Obviously while they are willing to go above and beyond to do whatever it takes to care for your pet, you never get the impression that they are running up the bill on you with unnecessary procedures and tests. Compassionate and caring Drs. I send all my friends there.

Love Dr King even though my dog didn’t have to see him all he was getting was one shot, dr king made it a point to come out and say stick around I wanna see him just to say hi to his little buddy! He pet him showed him love and said ok see you next time! My dog is a 5 month old blue nose pitbull and they show him so much love and actually truly care about him! I recommend this place 1000%!!
