Not only do they have great cakes, treats and dog food but they did this for my dog ... After 2 years of my dog having consistent stomach issues I chose to give The Dining Dog & Friends a try, and my only regret is that I did not go to them sooner. My vet did all the blood work and stool samples they could do and still could not come up with a solution or a root cause for the dogs stomach issue. After talking with the folks here at "The Dining Dog" my dogs stomach issues are virtually gone in less than a couple weeks. They will talk with you for however long it takes to figure out what your dog needs and set up a step-by-step plan to get them better. Do not wait, just go! Thanks Ms. A!

My German Shepherd Max gives this place two tail wags and two paws up! This was our first time here and we WILL be back. Everyone was super sweet and just loved up on Max. All of the employees were kind and very helpful when it came to choosing Max's goodies on what would be ok for him since he's only 10 weeks old. Thank you ❤

We (our pup Marly, my wife and myself) have thoroughly enjoyed and benefited from Dining Dog, Althea and all the assistants at this great dog-centered refuge. Our little 11 y.o. minpin was stricken with pancreatitis in the spring of 2017. Numerous veterinarians held little hope of her survival. While being treated by our trusted vet, we decided to see what Dining Dog might offer us to help our struggling girl. Marley was always a food monger but, since her health complications, she had no appetite and had lost 20-25 % of her body mass. We walked into Dining Dog and explained our dilemma. Within 5 minutes Marley was eating a variety of health offerings by Althea and staff. We took Althea's kind advice and with the assistance of our vet and our daily infusions of saline and loving care, our girl survived this severe health challenge and has robustly survived to this day as a +15 y.o. active pup. We rely on Dining Dog to add the best foods and extras to our beloved Marley. Dinig Dog is the greatest!

Pup loved the birthday cake

Went into Dining Dog today in hopes of helping my kitty who has been suffering with struvites and now gastro issues from Hills food. I started crying at the register because it’s been a LOT. The lady who helped me, I forget her name, was an angel. Provided me with samples to help Jaxs tummy, gave me amazing advice, and let me be emotional without any judgment. They care about pets AND pet owners. I will be back!

My dog their homemade treats, it is shame their customer service isn't as good as their treats.

This is a unique shop. They have a great selection of food, treats and toy's for your fur babies. Also a bakery and fresh food made daily! Everyone is very friendly and knowledgeable so don't be afraid to ask for advice. I highly recommend them for anyone who loves their pets!

We stopped by Dining Dog because the Rx pet food we had been using had been discontinued and we were hoping they would have a suggestion. The vets office was not very helpful. When Althea took one look at her picture she knew what direction to take us. About an half an hour later we had real food and samples to take home and a real feeling that they really cared about our girl and really everyone’s pet. It has only been about 5 days but the difference in her habits are unbelievable. She eats better and seems to be really happy with her new foods. Can’t say enough about this wonderful store and the people that work there

We went to The Dining Dog today with our new puppy, Millie, to get her some bones! This place was awesome! We had the best experience. All the workers were excellent and could not have been nicer! The owner was extremely helpful and made us feel special by spending the time to explain the products and giving us some treats. We can’t wait to go back. I can’t recommend this place enough!

I just got back from my first visit there with my 4 month old beagle Murphy. WOW! Murphy was a hit, of course, and he wolfed down the yogurt samples the ladies bestowed upon him along with lots of love. The owner also gave him a chew toy. We bought some of the cookies, a treat dispensing ball, a venison flank and a Buffalo ear but I am definitely going back for more! Murphy, my son and I felt so welcomed and so happy to be there! What a wonderful place!

Our 10 year old son wanted to get something for his dog’s 1st birthday. He searched and found this place. He purchased stuff with his own money. He is a kid, but the staff treated him super nicely! The experience and attention the staff gave him was exceptional! He got free samples and was super excited to get a birthday cake and yummy treats for his puppy! We will definitely be regulars.

The Dining Dog& Friends has been a LifeSaver to both me and my dog. Ada really came through for me last minute making a birthday cake for my girl on her 1st birthday. It was during the first few months of COVID and we couldn’t come inside but her and the staff at The Dining Dog & Friends came out to the car, curbside, and spoiled Jorah with treats, toys and love! I decided to make this a yearly tradition even though they are an hour away, and they didn’t disappoint for her 2nd birthday! My girl has terrible food allergies and Ada recommended the best food, toppers, supplements and treats to keep her belly happy and to make me happy to pick up her poop! I can’t thank them enough for turning our lives around and making dog food and treat shopping so easy and painless for dogs with allergies. I feel confident in their knowledge and quality that this really is the best for her! Thank you The Dining Dog & Friends and Ada, from the bottom of our hearts! ♥️

Great place decent prices and they give the best advise

I LOVE this place!! It’s so rare to find a store with the most friendly employees (with helpful suggestions) AND quality (and healthy) dog treats and food! I ordered a birthday cake for my pup and the pickup process was seamless and the cake was beautiful. I also went home with many dog pastries and birthday apparel. The service was super fast and employees truly care for your pets here - 100% recommend to all dog/cat owners!

Althea has been such an amazing help to me and my dog over the past few years. She is extremely knowledgable in so many areas and has made great recommendations that have tremendously helped my pet. We are very fortunate to have such a wonderful store and knowledgable owner and staff in our area!

This place is amazing! It’s quite the experience every time my pom Chanel & I visit. She goes crazy whenever she sees the staff, she absolutely loves them. Every staff member is extremely sweet and helpful, this place has great customer service hands down. My Pomeranian’s diet consist of prepped food and treats from the dinning dog, they never disappoint. I must say most of their meals look better than human food/deserts, my friends always joke around and say that my pup eats better than them haha. Needless to say, I love my fur baby and she deserves the absolute best and The Dinning Dog definitely provides that for her. I recommend this place to anyone that wants provide pure joy and delicious meals to their pets, you will not regret it. Big thank you to all you ladies for such a wonderful experience and for all that you do! ❤️

I stopped in today right when they opened just to grab a birthday cake for my four year old German shepherd, Maximus. He can be aggressive towards other dogs so I was hoping that nobody else would be in there right at opening with their dog. I was wrong and there were two small dogs when we walked in, and Maximus became aggressive. Althea noticed this, and instead of asking me to leave or just ignoring it or becoming annoyed, she literally took an HOUR out of her day, without ever meeting me, to talk to me about Maximus and give me training tips on how to correct his behavior. This was an extremely unexpected and amazing gesture. She explained in particular detail about how certain foods and treats can effect Maximus’s health and behavior and made fantastic suggestions as well as providing me with tons of samples of dog food to try for him. I went in for a cake, and instead got over an hour of some of the most professional and caring service I’ve seen at a business. Unbelievable job Dining Dog. We will continue to come back!
