My roommate and I took in a stray from my brother and sister-in-law, who have been working to fix as many cats in their neighborhood as possible. This one young cat was particularly friendly, that we thought we’d keep him, thinking he …

I had a Vet tech named Kathy who took care of my cat Blackie. She started to drool at home and looked as if she was trying to get something out of her mouth. Kathy was great, she took a chicken bone out that was stuck on the roof of her mouth. Blackie is an indoor outdoor cat so she must have gotten chicken out of someone's garbage. Kathy saw tartar on Blackies back teeth and started to pick it off. She told me she's a picker, I said no problem. I didn't need to see the vet and there was no charge! Amazing!!! The place was clean, the receptionist and get tech were very professional. Thanks lady's

Absolutely the best pricing around for emergencies! They are amazing. We took our 8 month old kitten there after taking him somewhere else that wanted way too much money. We eneded up only paying $200 for an xray while other places charge $500! We found out our guy had an obstruction and we could not afford a hospital stay or surgery so they offered for us to surrender him to a rescue that would help him! We sadly signed the papers because that was the only way he was going to get help and I got a call today asking if I wanted to bring him home! He ended up not needing surgery and was doing awesome so no need to go to a rescue! I am ecstatic to be able to go get him after thinking we would never see him again. They are amazing and I would 100% recommend them to anyone and everyone! Thank you guys sooooo much ???? can't wait to pick him up!

I took my 3 year old Pomchi to Rush today after nearly two days of trembling, lethargy and poor appetite. I wasn't sure if she was hurt or sick. The doctor quickly found a tender spot on her spine. My dog likes to jump off the couch and I assume she injured herself that way. We came home with some meds for the pain and inflammation. After a long nap, my pup was much more comfortable, stopped shaking, and ate her whole dinner. Thank you Rush!

I have an old dog that no one would touch or they were not accepting new patients. My 21yr old dog got really sick and they treated him as if he was their dog. I was so happy and just felt good with him in their care. I have been telling everyone I know that has pets. Prices were amazing!!!!

I had to take my dog Penny to this clinic. I couldn't find any vets open in my area so I had to drive an hour and 20 minutes. Penny was very sick & I needed a vet ASAP. I wasn't sure if Penny would last the drive but she did & the staff at Rush was very compassionate. They kept Penny comfortable & treated us with a lot of respect. Unfortunately, we had to make a decision that every pet owner doesn't want to make. We didn't want Penny to suffer anymore so we ended up putting her down. Trust me, I didn't want too. She is my buddy but I felt that was the most humane thing to do. I will miss her everyday but the staff was just exceptional. Thank you RVUC. I will highly recommend this clinic to anyone that is looking for a place to take their pet!

My elderly chihuahua had been attacked back in march and and had broken his jaw and had a hole in his cheek. The staff was very comforting in such a stressful situation. They made sure he was on pain meds and made him comfortable. They even had a pay plan set up for us which was amazing because we didn’t have all the money needed at the time. No other vet would take him and it would have cost so much more if it weren’t for Rush. I’m thankful everyday for them taking care of my little guy and helping him recover.

If you truly love your pet, pls don’t take them to this place. They take money over your pet’s life. My dog was attacked by a pit bull. There’s a hernia on his belly. They told me he needed to be observed for 12-24hours. But the truth is they don’t have a doctor to do the surgery.(I got to know this fact after I went to another vet emergency). As they can do nothing and I’m afraid my dog will be terribly shocked after the attack, I took my dog back to home, and took him to eastern animal hospital. The doctor there is very honest with me. Differ with the human hospital the animal vet’s doctor who do the surgery and the doctor who diagnose the pets are usually different. They Don't have a surgery doctor that day,so They immediately transferred my dog to the metropolitan vet associate(they are very very professional,if your dog is in a critical condition, don't hesitate take them to there). My dog couldn't survive, because his pancreas and intastine got really bad bruises on them. I doubt that if it’s because they(rush vet) bandaged him too tight. I can see there’s a lump is squzzed out of the bandage. No matter what my loving bb has passed away. If they could let me know that they don’t really have a doctor to do the surgery I would have taken my dog to other hospitals immediately. But they treat me as a big fish, the covered up the truth, their dishonesty could be a reason took my dog’s life. As doctors they should always put their patient's life first, unfortunately they just don’t have it. Again if you truly love your pet go elsewhere!

DO NOT GO HERE. I foolishly brought my pet here whose breathing was shutting down and she was not responding. They soaked me for every penny they could. We waited over 3 hours to be seen. You are better off allowing your pet to die at home than be fleeced by these clowns. They actually deserve zero stars. They keep their bad reviews hidden and only highlight their good reviews because they are devious.

Great experience with the provider (compassionate and affordable) but can't say the same for the front desk. First I call for information and get placed on hold and Kim hung up on me and when I called back no apology.

I brought my dog to rush yesterday as he had an injury to a mass, there was a wait but he went for surgery last night and is now doing great, the vets were so nice and gave me all possible options of what he needed and what i could afford!

I highly recommend Rush on Tilghman. Even though the outcome for our dog was not good. They were the most compassionate group. Price was absolutely reasonable for an after hours emergency visit. I think we found a new vet. Thank you Rush

Extremely satisfied! Highly recommend! A little bit of a wait as my pet wasn't seriously injured, but that is to be expected and the wait time was not astronomical. The staff is very friendly and the prices are great and inexpensive! I paid less than I do to get my cats a wellness exam and shots and their vet.

Although it is only open for 6 hours there is honestly not a lot of time for what they are handed in that short shift! We had to wait for a very long time there was nothing that us or them could do about it. They were patient with me being inpatient. My 1 1/2 year old lab/pit went through our glass screen door and need stitches he is cage aggressive because he has never been in one. As soon as i got there they took him back and kept him back there to limit his stress as soon as they started on his procedure it didn’t take to long after that. The vet and techs as well as the receptionist were helpful and supportive the whole entire time! Although i do not wish to be there again if it happens i will go here again.

I brought my dog to Rush to be treated for an injury to her foot/nail. We waited no longer than one hour (which is pretty great for an emergency vet) and the staff quickly brought her in for an exam. The nurse and doctor both were so gentle and compassionate with her and prescribed three medications and an e-collar. Their pricing was also very reasonable. 10/10 great experience here!

I accidentally dropped my dogs insulin vile on the tile floor and of course it broke. My vet is awesome but has limited hours. All of the staff at Rush are awesome. The care the provide is top notch and they truly care about your family member. They were able to help and get us through till we can see our regular vet. And an added bonus is that their fees are extremely fair. Thank you Rush!!

I truly felt compassion from the staff. They fit me in very quickly for an emergency visit when another place nearby could not. I was allowed inside with my animal while most other vet specialists take your pet and force you wait in the car. Receiving service was prompt, knowledge was apparent. Thank you Rush!

My dog got allergic reaction to his regular vaccines, itching, vomit, swelling and fast breathing. I called Rush they suggest to take the dog in for check out, they act fast, monitoring him and the price for the consult being at ER was really reasonable. Thank you so much Rush Vet Urgent care. I highly recomend them.

What can I say about Dr. Milot and her staff that will accurately explain how incredible they are...There are no words. I have always been VERY nervous about having to take my sweet Gibbs to an emergency vet. I had to bring him in on 04/01/2021. Dr. Milot and the staff at Rush are so compassionate, honest, and most importantly realistic. In a time when you are receiving the most unexpected and heartbreaking news about your family member, they stay rational and committed to what is in the best interest of your animals health/quality of life. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for showing such love and compassion to my Gibbs and to me as his mom. I only wish your actual practice was in the Valley, as we would be lifetime clients. Thank you a million times over. Our hearts are heavy, but we are grateful to Rush.

We had a stray neutered 2 weeks ago, on day 14 we noticed the site was swollen and oozing. On Saturday AM my daughter and I called around the Lehigh Valley looking for somewhere to bring him. Most were closed, the ones that were open said 4-6 hour wait. My daughter called Rush and told us bring him at 1430. Typical Covid stuff, call the number, wait outside until they call you back. I waited about 30 minutes and was called to come in, to my surprise I was permitted to stay the entire time with this terrified cat. They cleaned him up, gave him antibiotics and a cone. The staff was fantastic, the price was very competitive. I strongly recommend using this facility for emergency needs, Valley Central is no longer the only option in the area, they now have stiff competition.
