The puppies are so adorable!!! This is a nice place to go to if you want to play with puppies or if you considering adopting one. They seem to have a fast turnaround, so if you see a dog you love, put a hold on it! Just like any other pet store, it can be a bit smelly and dirty (especially since you can hold and walk certain dogs in the store). That notwithstanding, the dogs seem to be healthy, and the staff is friendly and attentive. *NOTE: It’s clearly posted that everyone who wants to hold or pet a dog needs to first wash their hands, and needs to do so between each litter as well. Also, some dogs are not meant to be pet at the moment, so please read the signs* I only point this out because I’ve noticed many people can’t or don’t want to follow the very clear signs.

No longer stocking fish. Currently they are moving alot of stuff so there are items with incorrect price tags. Used to be a good shop, used to go for fish.

They staff there was super great. The puppies were cute and looked care for. You could tell these folks took pride in their jobs and loved animals. The new person, the snake expert and their dog Jasper, were friendly and helpful! Everyone was knowledgeable that I talked to. The other person working I could tell was working on making a change to use gender neutral pronouns in their everyday language, while helping the snake expert(who also used gender neutral pronouns) learn the register they referred to me as 'She,' but corrected themselves to 'They' as to not assume a gender. This is important to everyone that presents as a gender that they do not identify with. I literally cried tears of joy on the way to my car because a complete stranger made an effort to not misgender me and they did it of their own accord. I thanked them for using gender neutral terms as I don't think I've had anyone do that before that doesn't know me. 100% going there again because they care about the animals they care for, they care about our animals and they care about their customers as individuals. I can't tell you enough how much that positively impacted me today.

Horrible experience here. Puppy was sold with giardia. Found out (from the vet) that one of her litter mates had Parvo. The store manager made the decision to put the puppies on the floor even though one tested positive for Parvo. Possibly exposing the other dogs. Vet told them they needed to quarantine the pups for 10 days before selling. A few great employees who seem to really care for the animals. Check reviews on YELP, they seem to be more honest.

Hands down your one stop shop for getting a pet. My family got a ball python morph: genetic stripe. They suggested all the right equipment and treated him well. He was able to be held and fed immediately at home and is so nice!

I just witnessed the "groomer" physically holding a white poodle by the neck and spraying it directly in the face! This lady with short curly hair should be fired and never allowed to touch another animal again! Being a vet tech who has delt with bathing scared animals I know it's trying but cruelty is never the answer. I really hope the owner of the dog sees this and never brings that poor puppy back. Do not give this store money !!!

It's nice to see puppies every once in a while right? Unfortunately seeing the puppies here is always incredibly upsetting. The glass tanks are consistently disgusting and the pups are over packed in the tanks. Even if the dogs are able to be handled you most likely wouldn't want to due to how gross their coats are from laying in the soiled litter. It's so depressing to see these young dogs not socializing, and being kept in horrible conditions. I usually go occasionally for pet food. Their stock for rabbits is so limited and has inadequate nutrients. The habitat options are not made for rabbits, they are only good for rats, guinea pigs, or ferrets. I absolutely cannot recommend this store in good faith.

Yo, this place has really gone downhill. It used to be a neat place, a great alternative to petsmart, but I dont think I will go back again. Dust is covering every inch of the merchandise, there are huge cobwebs everywhere above, it absolutely STINKS, there is cyanobacteria all over the fishtanks, there were fruit flies inside the hamster cages- need I say more?? And I fairly positive all the puppies come puppy mills. Dont have any proof of that, butnfor how much they charge for them, Im suspicious. Its horrendous inside there. Dont go.

What a horrible pet store. Just look at the condition this puppy is in. Deplorable. This place should be shut down!

Went in today just to find a small chinese crested puppy shaking with goo all over his eyes. The second I picked him up he didn’t want to leave and had finally stopped shaking. This dog is clearly sick. These dogs are extremely over priced and are not seen by a vet before hand. I have purchased a rat here and he had ring worm. i also bought a mini pincher (not pure bred) for $1,000 and he came home with serious stomach issues and you guessed it RINGWORM. I will never buy from them again and only did because i truly felt bad for them.

It seems that the employees really don't do their job it's messy in there and they don't clean cages and they're not very polite to customers

This place is very unsanitary and stinky as soon as you walk in, as well as the cages the puppies are in. I feel bad for all of those poor animals! I purchased a pug puppy which is so cute! When we were shopping items for him the place was so dusty & filthy as well as spider webs on the shelves! & no price tags. When we brought our puppy home everything seemed to be okay but later on when our puppy popped we noticed he had tape worms! Poor thing & they ensured us that the puppy was healthy and in great condition! We took him to the vet and luckily got him some medication. Please do not shop here

Gave us sick rats, one of which is dying and it hasn’t even been two weeks since we purchased them. All the animals look like they are living in very poor contention.

Disturbing. I went in here looking for things for my rats and wanted to throw up when I saw the poorly cared for, filthy puppy mill dogs they’re charging $$$ for. All of their tiny enclosures were filthy and most had totally empty water bowls. The puppies are dirty, under stimulated, and seem so sad and uncomfortable. Shame on anyone who takes their kids here to gawk and scream at these poor animals. This business should be shut down and the owners (and staff) charged with animal abuse.

I wish it could get zero stars, but since they had the one thing I went in for specifically I guess one star is fine. I went in looking for dog ice cream which they had…but it was also stuck to the container it was being housed in in their freezer- does no one clean this place?! I continued to walk through the dog shelves to find stuff for my pup’s birthday- there were empty pegs and shelves all over the place; it looked like it was going out of business. There weren’t price tags on 90% of the items either. So I gave up. Went to the register and there was a family waiting up there spread across the entire counter making it impossible to actually shop the chews (that were also mostly out of stock and not priced). I overheard that they were purchasing a puppy (thankfully not one of the overpriced mutts- just a poorly bred Chinese Crested- what responsible breeder sells to this place?! Oh none. Just the puppy mills) and knew it was going to be forever until I was helped. The girl made eye contact with me several times and only called up someone else after over five minutes by saying “can you hop on to ring someone up? Oh there’s only one person take your time” WHAT? I have never felt so uncomfortable by a pet store’s service- normally everywhere else is helpful. Finally someone comes to ring me up and I ask if they have two specific chews in stock- doesn’t even know what they actually look like (because something else got picked up that doesn’t even resemble a cow trachea) so I just gave up and grabbed a bag of generic treats. Worst experience ever. Moral of the story? I should have just gone to Mud Bay- everything is in stock, the staff is friendly and helpful, and they’re not profiting off poorly bred and badly taken care of animals.
