I worked at this salon for 4 years. The owner, Kristie, has cycled through many employees due to her poor management and communication skills, and often does not follow labor laws. No employees have ever been given sick pay, which is illegal in the state, and we rarely are given paystubs with our checks. When my coworker walked out due to poor treatment from the owner, Kristie proceeded to steal her grooming tools, worth hundreds of dollars. When I told her that was wrong and the coworker should be able to have her tools, Kristie proceeded to tell me to pack my bags and fired me. The coworker has tried multiple times to get her tools and the owner refuses to relinquish them because she's mad that she walked out during her shift. The police have been involved as well as the Labor Board.

This is a top notch salon where my pets are loved and given the highest quality service. I've been taking my dogs to Groomingdales for the past nine years. The owner, Kristy, has extensive experience and knowledge of not only grooming, but dog care and behavior as well. I can't say enough about how great she is and the quality of staff she hires. You and your pet will be happy here! ???? My dogs run to the door every time we go to Groomingdales!

The owner of this grooming salon is very unprofessional. Multiple employees left (I'm sure for good reason) and she chose not to call the clients to let them know. Instead she let me show up and turned me away at the door, saying the groomers should have called, even though she didn't provide any contact information to the groomers (makes a lot of sense, huh?) This business is clearly going down the drain, highly recommend finding a different salon!

They told me that they couldn't get my mini schnauzer in until December 17 when I called at the end of September. I called yesterday and heard their message saying that they are taking new customers and it is a 4 week wait time. Why in the world would they not put a returning customer a sooner appointment? When I called to cancel the appointment because it made me mad. I was told that they didn't know what was on the message and that they have had problems scheduling since August. I don't like being lied to. I guess they are so busy they don't need my business.

Alina has been grooming our shar-pei, Nelly for 3 years now and she does an excellent job! We recommend Groomingdales (especially Alina) to all our friends. Their team are fast, gentle, and do great with animals! We are happy with every single visit!

I started bringing my chiweenie here for nail trims/dremelling a few months ago. They always look so nice afterwards! I call ahead and they can always fit us in that day and it's quick. Love this place!

My 3 pugs can be a handful for nail trims, but Groomingdales handled them expertly! One of my dogs didn't want to leave and made friends with the groomer, will definitely be going back.

On the recommendation of someone who recently moved out of Tualatin, I went by to check the place out, maybe get a nail trim, since my dogs were recently groomed at another place about 45 minutes away. Aiden greeted me and was kind enough to let me get a quick look at the inside of the shop. All of the staff were very friendly. The shop was small but appealing and the dogs inside were all quiet and calm. Aiden took excellent care of the nail trim on my adult Golden and Newf puppy, and was comfortable working with my big dogs. Made an appointment for a full groom later this year and will update this review. Looking forward to seeing how it goes!

Aiden shaved off most of my Goldendoodle’s long fluffy tail without my permission or prior knowledge. This is without question the worst haircut he has ever had. Do not go here, because you have no idea what bizarre thing they are going to do to your dog, without asking you.

I have had a VERY difficult time trying to tackle the issues of my Heeler's nail trim anxiety. He is a wonderful pup, but he is VERY guarded when it comes to nail trims, so he has been roaming the earth looking like a velociraptor since his last trim...when he was under during his neuter in Feb. I have been working on responsive care tactics with him at home, but he still would not allow it. His vet said that he would need to be anesthetized to have it done, which would be $200 every 6 weeks and be TERRIBLE for his health. I took him to Groomingdale's as a last effort before going so extreme, and they were able to get 19/20 nails which is amazing! Granted, he cried and whined, but when he was don'e he was totally fine and happy, no trauma. So as long as they are willing to work with him again and again, I will be going back to Groomingdale's. Thank you so much for your patience and care with my little monster!

They had appointments much sooner than other places nearby, better prices also. The they picked the car carrier from me car, and were wearing masks. My cat came out disgruntled, but only because she didn't want a haircut - she looked as good as a lion cut can be. They even accentuated her puffball tail. Very happy with it

Savanna groomed my angel and did a fantastic job! He looks great and she followed my instructions perfectly. I felt confident leaving him in her hands.

They gave my longhair cats haircuts once a year for several years and did a pretty good job but it was inconsistent and always cut a different way than I asked. But whatever about that, I dealt with not knowing what my cats would look like after picking them up from here because I just wanted them to be comfortable for the summer. One visit I had booked I called the same day to cancel because my moms appendix ruptured and she needed surgery, obviously not a good day to get their haircuts anymore. Well they told me not to come back because I wasted their time instead of offering to reschedule. I was so shocked as I’ve paid $55 per cat plus tip per visit and hadn’t ever canceled before and I had never been informed of any kind of cancelation policy. I’ve found another groomer with a lot more compassion and understanding in Tigard. I don’t recommend Groomingdales.

Shalesa did such a great job with our Sphynx today ♡ She was gentle and he didn't seem stressed at all afterwards. We just recently adopted him and he has some health issues, so he's a sensitive little guy. She was also very flexible with scheduling. Would definitely recommend!

I highly recommend Alina! My Maltese poodle is very anxious. He also has super fine curly fur which gets matted very easily especially when he plays in the rain. Since he hadn't been groomed during quarantine I expected them to shave him. Luckily Alina was able to avoid shaving him to his skin. She is very patient and very upfront with what to expect. My dog is super happy and we will be coming back.

I LOVE Groomingdales. I have moved out of the area and tried other groomers, I just keep coming back to here. Both dogs recieved a Christmas toy, treats and I got a picture of them both!

Groomingdales is by far the BEST pet grooming salon I've ever been to. I have Alina as my dog's groomer and she is just an angel! She is kind, patient and understanding when I need to reschedule appointments. Not only that but she is so sweet to my dog Piko. She really pampers him! ( She even gives him a homemade scarf to wear home after every grooming session!! ) I also really appreciate her because Piko is a maltese and I am trying to grow his hair into the long show cut but Alina is always willing to help me keep his cost looking beautiful all while charging a VERY fair price for her work. Groomingdales is the best pet salon ever and I would especially like to recommend Piko's groomer Alina as she is the most professional groomer I've had. ( And since I have a Maltese I have had a LOT of different groomers! ) Thank you Alina and Groomingdales! I appreciate you so much!

Been with them for 13 yrs until my ex started working there. She convinced every groomer there not to cut my dogs hair because she's "not over how things ended" so I've been black listed I guess ???? bad bussiness model

Fantastic and fast work giving our female great dane a bath and a nail trim. They also gave our little puppy a free nail trim which was very nice of them! Will recommend to our family and friends. Also very affordable.

My schnauzer-mix is incredibly fearful of grooming, so I normally try to do as much of it as I can at home to make it a more comfortable experience for him. His paws in particular were getting out of control, so I decided to take him to a professional. Groomingdales was able to get us in the same day, and Alina and I had a long talk beforehand about how I would like him to look (but to just do her best, we're here to make him comfortable, not show-ready), his fears of getting his feet done/the dryer, and they even had oatmeal shampoo for his sensitive skin. His appointment went a little over the allotted time because he was being so difficult, so I hung out in the waiting area for him for about 20-30 minutes. All of the groomers were being so sweet to the dogs, and Alina was so kind and patient with Gordo. In spite of being a little brat, he came out looking great! We will definitely be back! Thank you!

Love the staff. Not sure what the new pricing is for 2020 but we thought $35 for 2 nail dremels was a bit steep. We might be looking for a new place to get nails done for our dogs.

They do a great job but a little too spendy so I don't take my pup in very often. Nice staff!
