We went to Companion Clinic for about three years for both of our dogs. All vaccinations and our older pup's neuter was within reasonable cost and the staff was friendly. They never went above or beyond, but all of our interactions were fairly brief. Most recently we scheduled for our female pup to get spayed. They gave us a quote of $350-550, which seemed reasonable and within our budget. On the day of the appointment, I called to get our pup checked in and they told me the cost would be between $850-1190! I was in shock. I asked the vet directly why the cost had increased so much. She claimed it was due to the weight of our dog (55lbs) but our male dog weighed more at the time of his neuter and it was only $400. It seemed like they were price gouging due to demand. Ultimately, I expressed that the increase in cost with no notice was unprofessional and lost my trust that they were providing fair and affordable care. We found a new vet who offered an in person consultation with very transparent pricing - the total cost for the exam, bloodwork, spay and chip was $468.00. Our new vet could not understand how we would have been quoted such a high cost either. Please be careful to not be stuck with a high price tag here when you can get much more high quality care elsewhere that is affordable.

The vet was wonderful and friendly. My dog is hyper with new people and they took it well. The front desk lady brought the dog meds out for me and went for even more good puppy pets. Great staff.

When you get there you park out front and call them to tell them you're there. Sometime later they come out and give you info and grab your animal. I got a kitten spayed and it was cheaper than their quoted cost. When I got her back they gave me all the info I needed for after care

The Veterinarian was nice and took good care of us. However, her staff showed up 5 minutes before our appointment to unlock the door and didn't take our dog until almost 15 minutes after our appointment time. My biggest pet peeve, tell me to be early so that you can be late. I almost left, good thing she was a good Veterinarian, she saved the experiance for me.

Companion Vet in Thurston OR took all my money then claimed they didnt know so suggested to take my sick Lil Bear to the emergency room twice they did this. Both my chihuahuas died because they were too busy and not concerned to help us but they sure took all our money first! Thousands of dollars! Then my Diego who they diagnosed with CHF passed out 6 times overnight and needed additional medication for his CHF because they only started him on 1 medication for unknown reasons according to many vets he could have had 3 medications to start to help him! Nope they wanted to start with just one.WELL IT DIDNTWORK AND HE COLLAPED AND PASSED OUT 6 TIMES THAT NIGHT! Then when we called upon opening the next morning they didnt take his passing out and collapsing seriously and we had to wait for the ORIGINAL DR.to come back from his day off they claimed NO OTHER VET THERE COULD HELP? We waited and he finally got back to us with Diego's 2nd medicine almost 2 days later when he was done with his day off and then not til the afternoon! Our sweet Diego died a horrific death that night!I I truly believe that had someone cared the morning we called he would be alive today! They got all our money so they didnt care! Then our second baby they took all our money and then said to take Lil Bear my sweet Lil Bear to the emergency room because they didn't know what was wrong with her and they didnt know what they were doing!! Instead you took every penny we had and then sent us to the emergency room who knew nothing! Twice you did this to us After the emergency room stuck her everywhere with needles they said oh just take her home!! Pay us more money but we dont know what's wrong! We took her to another vet we found and they knew exactly what was wrong with Lil Bear! It was too late she passed! I will have a hard time forgiving you Companion for not caring about our babies you are only money hungry! You took thousands of dollars from us and did nothing! You even charged us for an extra x ray when it was your incompetence the first didnt turn out!They died because of YOU! We are still paying for the service you never gave! You should have cared companion!! My Diego passed on Jan 10 2020 for lack of care and lack of response to help him from companion animal clinic! My Lil Bear passed after you poked and prodded my 4 lbs sick chihuahua taking all my money I'm still paying on only to tell me oh we can't do anything take her to the emergency room where they again poked her all over and told me they don't know! It was too late for Diego but I tried another vet for Lil Bear and they diagnosed her immediately but it was too late..Lil Bear passed Feb 3rd 2020..Lost my 2 babies and all my money trusting Companion! You didn't care..not at all! Give us our money back so we can care for our dog with Cushing's disease but I'm sure that won't happen because YOU DON'T CARE!! ONLY PRAYING TO GOD WILL MAYBE EVENTUALLY ALLOW ME TO FORGIVE YOUR NEGLIGENCE!!! GIVE US OUR MONEY BACK THAT IS THE RIGHT THING TO DO! YOU HAVE DONE NOTHING! R.I.P. MY SWEET BABIES!
