The staff is great! They're so friendly and my dogs love them! They have cameras in the play areas so you can check in on your lil buddy anytime, which works great since I'm pretty sure I have more separation anxiety than they do!

We decided to board our dog, Tallulah, with Camp Bow Wow in October 2021. It was our first time boarding our dog with anyone. Tallulah, a 45 pound Australian Shepard, was in good health when we dropped her off on 10/8, but when we picked her up on 10/17 she was coughing when they brought her out to us. It also became quickly apparent that she had lost 10-15 pounds and was having a hard time breathing. We had to take her to the ER within a few hours because she could not breathe properly. She had to stay in the ICU for a week, and we almost lost her several times. It cost us over $8,000 to keep her alive. She had apparently developed pneumonia after picking up a cough at Camp Bow Wow. I am not upset that she picked up the initial cough, as you have to be prepared for this kind of thing when you board your dog with anyone. I am troubled by the following things: 1. Tallulah was clearly very sick, but none of the employees noticed this. 2. Tallulah was not eating and lost a significant amount of weight. She was skin and bones when we picked her up. 3. There was absolutely no communication with us about the 2 above listed items. If we had known either of these things, we would have had a friend bring in other food options and had them take her to the vet before the cough turned into pneumonia. 4. When I contacted Camp Bow Wow after Tallulah was in the ICU a manager apologized profusely, and said she would address my concerns with her staff. She also said she would call the following week to speak with me about the changes they were making to make sure this would not happen again with another person's dog. They never offered to help pay medical expenses that occurred as a result of their neglect, and I never heard back from them. I am not a person who leaves negative reviews, but I could not in good conscience say nothing when I believe other dog owners may be faced with a similar situation in the future. Camp Bow Wow may be great for the doggy day care they provide, but do NOT board your dog here! It isn't safe for your pet!

Thanks for watching Cotton the last 9 days. Its the longest we've been apart. Its the first week back home and I find her sleeping on the bed with me. Hasn't done that in years. Its nice. She got a compliment today of looking healthier. Must have been good exercise. How much did she eat?

Let me start by saying I was going to give a higher score but since the owner lied in a response to my husband, who was not there one star it is. Our dog has been there twice before for her initial visit and a half day. Both times she was shy and timid and the same person was there. She did the initial visit where our dog spent most of the time in the corner and was again shy the second time. I say shy because that's what they said but she was perfectly fine to be there according to the staff. I take her today again the same lady is there and she had me walk may may back to the kennel. There was a mass amount of dogs at the gate and she laughed and said it can be overwhelming. I picked May May up and asked if that would be better. She said that may work and took her out of arms and carried her in through the back. May may was in the kennel with the other dogs for about an hour and did the best she has ever done as we stayed and monitored her. She was a little shy but ran around and ran to jump on the walls a couple of times, but unlike the last time she did not hide in the corner as they had put it, to be specific the same person that was working today. My kids and I were pleased at how she was warming up. After the associate was done introducing two other dogs into another kennel she said that May may was to shy and she should go home. I cancelled any further visits. I had also purchased a shampoo and nails for which she charged $42. The sign at the register said all shampoos are $20 and nails $5. I had her refund the $42 as I would not be returning. When giving responses stick to the truth, don't lie. For all of our visits we had the same person who continually said May May was shy but fine to be there. Today her shyness turned into more, again the same person. May May is not aggressive just shy. All in all this was a good thing we found a different place for may may that will suite us better.

Very clean and large facility! The staff/management was so welcoming and accommodating to my dogs! They answered all my questions kindly and assured me of the safety of my dogs. I’m sure my dogs didn’t get a chance to miss me on their first night of boarding at Camp Bow Wow, they were so pooped out when we picked them up. The live webcams are literally the best feature! In case I had any doubts that they were having fun. ???? We will definitely board here from now on. I would bring my dogs here for daycare if it wasn’t so far from where I live.

I have not used the Camp BowWow in Oregon but I have used it in Meridian Idaho. I was very impressed at how well they took care of my pitbull Bubba. I used their boarding services when I went out of town. Bubba had his own suite with a camera in it so I could log on and see him anytime I wanted. When I did log on he seemed happy and his suite was always clean. I could also watch him in the daycare area. At one point I called and asked if one of the camp counselors could please go in the suite and spend sometime with Bubba. I watched as a girl went in and sat down with him for awhile, I thought that was worth mentioning. Friendly staff and happy campers!!

Brand new place and everyone has been super friendly and welcoming! My pup Mando has a new home from home when I'm at work. I like the camera options to sneak a peek when I'm on lunch!

Our dog Ellie loves going to Camp Bow Wow! Everyone that works there has been super nice and caring. We know she always has a blast because she sleeps for 2 days after day camp. We’ve had nothing but great experiences so far between their grooming and day camp services, we highly recommend them!
