Could not get an appointment even though we paid money every month to put our cat on a wellness plan. She got really sick and it was impossible to get an appointment unless you planned ahead. Who can plan when their pets get sick? Our cat got very sick and we had to put her down when we didn’t want to because we could not get a future appointment to wait and watch for improvement. They would not work with us. I’m disgusted and disappointed in this vet clinic. They have gone downhill in customer service for the last two years. They still haven’t figured out how to function effectively after Covid. They will not work with you if your pet is really sick. They were not there when we needed them the most. I would tell people DO NOT GO THERE, but where are you going to go? You cannot get a vet appointment in the whole metropolitan area. I would have thought that they would valued long term customers but those times are over!

I have taken my dog to a few different vets over the years and none seemed to “stick” I couldn’t find one that I felt comfortable with, or that I trusted with her. Unfortunately I needed to get her in asap and all the ERs turned us away so I called every vet in the area, when I called Banfield the girl I spoke with immediately put me on hold to speak with her doctor and offered me an appointment right away, I had never been to this location and still had anxiety about another new vet but I had to get her in. When I arrived the manager was up front helping the receptionist which I had never seen before and the receptionist immediately knew who I was and got my kiddo taken straight to the back to get care, I was crying and the manager stopped what she was doing and just talked with me. Asking questions about Sissy , comforting me and giving me updates, all while also helping the other staff. The doctor came out and spoke with me and let me ask questions and then the nurse brought her out and also made sure I was set. I was so grateful but the thing that made me write this review was that they called me again today just to make sure she was okay and offer any help if I needed it. I am so grateful for the extra call and time they took to check on us.

My poor kitty of 18 years was in his last moments and suffering terribly; i i didn't have an appointment but when i came in with him they were super understanding and took care of him even though they were all busy with surgeries and other work. Thank you so much for helping my best friend at the end.

Just went in to get my kitten a vaccine. It was quick and pretty reasonable. The staff was very nice.

My cat was misdiagnosed without proper testing and received treatment for something that he did not have. After the proper test was done by another clinic, it was determined that he didn't have what the vet had diagnosed my kitten with. Long story short, the intestinal floura was destroyed in my kittens gut from the improper antibiotic that was perscribed. Three 3 weeks later I am still trying to normalize his intestinal floura and I am still dealing with diarrhea. To be fair, the clinic manger took her time to speak with me and referred me to another Banfiled for better care. Please ask for proof of the diagnosis. Visual examination is not enough. Proper tests need to be performed to determine a proper treatment and diagnosis.

Had such a good few last experiences with Banfield! They are friendly, responsive, and treat our animals very well. They even go the extra mile to draw cute pictures on our take-home bags with our cat's medicine. Highly recommend!

The food and atmosphere were great. The service was awesome. I'm a very picky eater in Mexican food and this restaurant just made the top of my list I will be returning in the near future to try the seafood!!

We thought our cat was going to be put to sleep. She was so sick. They saw us immediately. We were brought to a room with water for us a nice fluffy blanket on the sterile table for her. They took many tests and were very polite and understanding, passionate about her recovery. She is doing well and back at a check up. Thank you banfield.

I called yesterday to get my kiddo in who has been sick recently, the receptionist let me know they were booked out a couple weeks but offered to place me on a cancellation list to get in sooner if another appointment became available and honestly I did not expect to hear back for a while. They called this morning to let me know they could get me in today and I was overjoyed! I’m so grateful for this effort to get pets in as soon as possible and our visit with the doctor and the team was great. I can not thank them enough for getting us taken care of and have switched to this location permanently

A friend just had to have her pet euthanized and I was giving her ride because she had been up all night tending to her pet. The vet tech there was one of the kindest people I have ever met. She made the experience bearable for my friend. The stars are for kindness to a grieving pet owner.

We have been bringing our 3 pets to this location for years and love the vets and staff. We’ve seen a few different doctors and all have been thorough and attentive to all our concerns. The wellness packages have worked great for us as our pets are fairly healthy and they cover everything they have needed. Plus this location is not inside a pet store like a lot of other locations.

I called Banfield hospital at progress ridge three times last week about getting my dog in I received not one phone call back, I tried to make an appointment online and the first appointment was not available till the end of the month. I finally took her to Tualatin emergency veterinarian clinic and I could’ve not asked for a better treatment for my dog???? The staff was so amazing and considerate. She passed after 2 days but she gave me 15 amazing years. If I choose to get another pet I will not be returning to Banfield hospital worst experience ever????I’ve had other issues as well with her dental work and the only vet I felt was valuable was Dr Ackerman who is no longer there. Well never heard back from the owner I don’t think they care ????

I wouldn't give any stars if I could. We have been going here for years, paying for pet plans even, multiple plans over the years. I now know it's a waste of money. We have been given bad advice and diagnosis from banfield on several occasions. I have since moved to different vets.

You are not allowed in the office at all. According to one of the workers it has nothing to do with covid. The problem is communication is awful. Tell the vet tech everything. Vet sees the animal then tech brings them back out with only half the info. Back and forth asking questions takes for ever. Still no answers on why my puppy is having issues. Just more suggestions for test. Stuck on the puppy plan so I have to stay the year. I would look elsewhere.

Please do not bring your pet to this clinic. Just like humans there are hospitals that you avoid when in need of care. This is the same situation. We opted into a wellness plan with banfield. Each time we have brought him to this clinic we are charged a given an estimated fee for the visit which is never accurate. It usually doubles or triples by the time you are asked for payment. I am not shy to the fact that my dog hates being at a veterinary clinic. I’m not shy to the fact that he’s a large strong energetic dog. Our last visit they called to state they would give him something to relax. Upon picking up my dog they gave him something so strong that he couldnt walk, climb stairs, he howled and cried the entire day and night. I was told by Dr. Haudi, between him looking around, getting distracted by everything in sight, and forgetting where he was at in his non informative statement, that we no longer needed a check up as he wanted me to focus on our current stomach issue. This stomach issue turned into my dog not being able to keep in any water or rice. Blood coming out of both ends and an emergency visit. When calling to update Dr. Haudi and his team I was told by Sarah “you did have an appointment yesterday at 4:30 and now we don’t have anything for several days.” I honestly couldn’t even fathom a response. I was told me Dr. Haudi this appointment was not needed. My dog was throwing up blood and having bloody bowl movements and I’m being reprimanded for missing an appointment he clearly forgot he had told me not to come to. I repeated myself and again Sarah stated that I needed to either wait the “several days” or call around to other clinics for help. This is my dogs veterinarian for the last two years and this is their response. I have never been able to get answers from banfield on any serious issue. I’ve spent thousands for dollars for them to give me this quality of care and service. Again never given any true answers or help.

a very bad service for years i pay insurance for my dog and now that i need them they offer a bad service i really been giving my money i will cancel the insurance

Dr. Hadi's bedside manner is great! Not only did he provide me detailed updates about my dog's status over the phone he made sure I fully understood my dog's care plan and treatment for when I got home. This is the first positive experience with Banfield, the Progress Ridge location operates on a different level of service, they really care about patient outcomes and do a great job at at providing alternative solutions. Thank you Dr. Hadi!

From the moment we walked in, our two pups were well looked after. Check in and weight in were handled at the same time, we were promptly given a room for the appointment, and the vet joined us soon after. The doctor couldn't have been nicer, she took the time to explain everything clearly and listen to/answer all of my questions. Everything you want and need when dealing with the health of your pets.

Vets unresponsive to price estimate requests. Services moderately over priced. Services recommended appear excessive in many instances. Staff appear to be very encouraged to sell care packages/subscriptions even when value is questionable. Services and staff are high quality. Staff is always friendly.
