Went to the spay and neuter clinic for my female kitten to be spayed, and the staff were very friendly and helpful, we got the procedure done for a wonderfully cheap price, and after my kitten was done, they gave detailed after care instructions. I can't say much for the shelter however, I don't like the fact that they are a kill-shelter. I guess besides that they take excellent care of the animals they do keep around, and I always enjoyed visiting here as a child to look at dogs :)

We recently adopted a tiny little senior chihuahua “Baguette” from them. She is turning out to be the spunkiest little darling. She has the most adorable personality and loves everyone she sees. Baguette’s name didn’t stick. She’s Gidget now, but she is mostly called “little miss”.???? I love the shelter set up. The meet and greet areas are nice. The staff were all so friendly and genuinely care about the animals in their care. I would highly recommend them when you are looking for a new family member.

Treat the animals like family and will exhaust every resource to find the perfect forever home so there isnt that revolving door for the same animal. Would adopt every single animal there if I could keep up the good work guys!

I had to put my dog down for end of life and these people were so awesome and kind. They let us take our time saying goodbye to our dog. We are having her cremated.

Looking for help with a starving dog from Grand Ronde. The person answering the door insisted that the area was in Yamhill County, not Polk. She refused to help me. That area is in fact in Polk. She sent me on a wild goose chase.

They didn't have the room but took all our kittens anyway. They just love animals. They have so many that need adoption. Kittens too big cats. The animals get loved on and played with. Do NOT go to a pet store ???? definitely go here

At times like these during the pandemic, it is not just common but fair to see work policy's change. Unfortunately humane society has made changes that have them failing the public. A starved cat rushed in our door today. Already being pet owners, there's only so much I could do . After no luck with social media we turned to Humane society the next day for help. Which they told me just to release the cat.... They didn't check for a chip. They didn't even attempt to be sincere. I felt like I was in the return line at a retail store. They just wanted me to leave. Not only is it frustrating being inconvenienced trying to do the right thing, it's disheartening and heart breaking knowing if my pet (god forbid) was the one in the situation, you'd do do the same thing. The 1st thing I'd do after my pet went missing is looking at the local shelters. I'm beyond frustrated with how your failing the community you representing.

Hands down the BEST place for animal care and adoption. If you have the chance to volunteer there, you will never regret it. All staff are professional and friendly and genuinely care about what they are doing ❤️

If everybody was like those who run this sanctuary. The world would be so wonderful.

I returned to adopt another senior and they were great. They spent the time to let my dogs acclimate to the new baby. I like that they are a private shelter. Will definitely be back ❤ BTW Webster is doing great! It's like he's been here all along and the girls have opened up to him and accepted him. He's going to have an amazing life with us. Thank you!

I'm always scared when taking my fur baby to a vet I had my last cat for 15 years and she was amazing and well taken care of but I had to have her put down last year because of kidney disease and she was in too much pain so about 8 months ago I got my Suki (sookie) and fell madly in love with her well we decided we weren't going to breed her so I called All around every place I called around wanted almost $300.00 to get her fixed and her shots and I just cannot afford that with being unemployed at the moment so I called The humane society here in Salem Oregon and they treated my ki-n-kaboodle so good they gave me three pills to take home for pain for her which I'm glad we got because she needed them they took such good care of her and they were so kind and it only cost $40 for her shots and to get fixed I give this place five stars because of their professionalism and they're kindness and compassion thank you Willamette humane society for taking such good care of my kitty
