Good groomer, treated the dog very well

My little poodle mix has been seeing Marie for a few months now and I am *so* happy with Marie every time! She is patient with my anxious little pup- even when she's being a brat. Marie is kind, understanding, reliable, and does a great haircut! She's attentive and listens to my dog and doesn't push her boundaries. I think that is such an important quality to have in a groomer. I feel safe leaving Mochi with Marie!

Good place to get your dog groomed!

My old dog needed a grooming big time after moving to Portland to live with me. She has many benign tumors and a neurological disorder exacerbated by stress, so finding a local groomer for her that I feel good about was very important. Pretty Paws & Claws has excellent reviews that mentioned older dogs, so I booked an appointment telling them all about her. They did a fantastic job with my girl, communicating with me and letting her rest during her grooming. She came home happy, comfortable, and looking wonderful! She will be a frequent visitor to keep her coat old-dog fashionable and manageable.

I recently moved to the neighborhood and I am so happy to have found this place! They did a great job with my doodle puppy (who can be a handful) and will definitely book here again. Plus the reasonable prices and easy online booking are great too.

They clearly love the animals they work with and pamper them. Came here to get my dog's teeth cleaned and the dog groomed and they greeted her like she was a rock star and showered her with affection the entire time.

Katie is the best, hands-down! We take our pup Zola to Pretty Paws & Claws to get her nails trimmed, and it is the easiest, most stress-free experience we could ask for. She does it in less than 30 seconds, honestly. Our dog is pretty easy, but I have seen that Katie takes great care of all her clients, even the tricky ones. She personalizes her care to each pet. There's a reason she books up ahead of time - she's amazing!

Absolutely great experience! They were really kind, knowledgeable, keeps you updated on your dog, and makes sure the haircut is what you want it to be! Definitely became our go-to.

Kate did amazing! Zoey is unbelievably nervous and skittish. She was a mess but Kate powered through (scratches and all) and got it done. Thank you so much, we'll be back!

This was our first time having a dog groomed here and Hayley was wonderful. Jake looks like a million bucks and was his usual happy self when we picked him up.

I have a very nervous dog that is scared of everything and they are so great here that she isn’t even scared of the clippers anymore. Well worth the long wait to get a spot, and then learning to book your next appointment as soon as you leave.

Love this place! The groomer was really nice! They also took great care of my lil Australian and Chihuahua mix! He has a double coat (like Australian Shepherds do) and they knew exactly what they were supposed to do! Super great place for a decent price. ????

So much love here you can feel it when you walk in the door! I love the one-on-one service and my shig-tzu was completely groomed in 50 minutes. He even fell asleep, he was so happy and relaxed! Thank you SO much we will be back with my other ones!

Katie is quick and professional when grooming my dog. After trying 6 different groomers, I found Katie. She has taken care of my dog for years now.

We have a Maltese mix rescue with a lot of anxiety. They do such a great job with her. I appreciate the intimate location and not having my dog kenneled or surrounded by many other dogs. Katie and her mom have taken great care of my fur baby!

I am so very happy to have found this place! I have tried many places as well as attempting to trim my dogs nails at home and haven't been successful. Kate is very knowledgeable and made me as well as my dog feel very comfortable. She was so fast and very kind! I highly recommend this place to anyone with pets... especially if you have a dog that won't allow you to trim their nails, you'll be amazed!

Every community dreams of having a place like this to bring your pets. Thankfully we are lucky enough to have, Katie, and crew at Pretty Paws & Claws. My Labrador, Raffi, is dealing with hot spots. I called in with a small crisis. Katie, told me to come right in and within the hour my pup was able to find some relief. Not only did she take care of my problem, but she did it with love. She genuinely cares about the animals and has a firm grasp of what I call the lost art of customer service. Thank you again, you now have a costumer in me for life! Mark and Raffi.

Katie has been grooming my Pomeranian, Toto, for years. He always looks fantastic and the rates are reasonable. We always have fun discussing what creative doggie cuts. Katie really loves the dogs. It is a small little shop filled with doggie love.

Started out good but not stoked anymore and after speaking with the friends who used to go there clearly the dogs are loved but not willing to work with them. Although maybe it's patience I can't be sure groomer runs hot and cold
