In the past, I have had nothing but good care for my dog at Newberg Veterinary Hospital. However, lately their service seems to have declined. I recently took my rabbit in to have her checked out. I forgot to ask about vaccines for her. I tried calling to see if they have the vaccine. Every time I tried to call, I got placed on hold and then routed to voicemail. I never got a call back. When I sent an email asking about the vaccine, I was told my vet would contact me. I didn’t hear back. I am faced with trying to find a different rabbit-savvy vet. Not sure if COVID has anything to do with the decline in service.

I've been a customer of Newberg Vet for a long time. In the past, I've had great customer service and care from the veterinarians for my pets. However, in the past 2 or 3 years, I have seen a significant decline in the quality of service both from the folks at the front desk and from the vets. I haven't given up on Newberg Vet, but I am very leery of going here unless it is a 911 or I am in need of urgent care for my pets. My main issue with Newberg Vet is communication. There seems to be a disconnect between the veterinarians and the vet techs along with too many customers and not enough space/staffing. I hope this improves someday as I would like to go back to this facility.

We had our TC brought in, found out he had feline lymphoma, found that even though they were very busy, we got in due to it being an emergency, was seen in a timely manner considering our situation. They were so caring there, I would definitely recommend giving them a visit instead of many other vet locations.

What an amazing clinic! Came here for declaw and tail procedure and they did a great job. We’re able to schedule an appointment the next day. Even thou it took us about an hour to get here from Vancouver but it is definitely worth it! We will be coming back for vaccine for our puppies. Thank you for great care!

Newberg Veterinary Hospital is the best! I'd give them more than 5 stars if I could. They are professional, efficient, friendly, and very knowledgeable in how to treat animals. Their prices are very reasonable, as well. I drive 2 hours each way for my animals to be patients there. I would not trust my brachycephalic dogs with any other vets.

Staff was very nice and the doctor answered all of my questions.

The staff allowed us to come in quickly when I told them that my dog was suffering and it was time to put her down. They took care of her within minutes with gentleness and compassion. They are so incredibly busy, but they do not act hurried or impatient and have sympathy for us pet owners. I can’t imagine going to another vet hospital.

Nothing but praise for the team here. My dog broke her paw and they thankfully found a way to work her into the schedule. Every one I interacted with was nice and just amazing. Thank you!!

Top quality vets that know how to care for your pet. The after hours vet is prompt and helpful. 4 stars only because it's hard to get in with how in demand they are.

I haven’t been here in awhile, but I wanted to give a shout-out to Dr. Fischer for not only identifying a bladder crystal as the cause of my pet rat’s bleeding a few years ago, but finding an obscure brand of cat food that had the right pH to solve the problem, the right nutrients to supplement her diet, and keeping her comfortable and healthy. The average lifespan of a rat is 2 years, and this rat lived to be 3 years and 2 months.

I have taken my pets there for 14 plus years and haven’t had any problems until recently. It’s been impossible to get a phone call back! My dog has had a terrible cough for the past few weeks and I literally call every day they are open, saying I’ll get a phone call back and never do. I’d hate to take our pets somewhere else, but my dog is suffering and it’d be nice to find a place that will actually give you a call back when they say they will. So disappointed lately with the lack of care.

Staff very professional and considerate in treating a dog who did not want to be there. Highly recommend them.

This place is terrible! They support the majority of puppy mills in the area. They get a huge profit by supporting these businesses and if they really cared about animals they wouldn't allow this to happen. They are one of the only vets in the area that perform these services. Absolutely disgusted by their business practices. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS

Got my dog in same day for some cuts that required antibiotics. Very friendly and sweet to my giant sweet boy!

I loved working with this clinic. It is unfortunate they no longer work with alpaca ranches leaving us without the local care we need. ????

For 20+ years I have taken 8 of my fur kids to NVH for all their care whether it's normal check up's or emergency or disease diagnosis. To me, the heath of each pet is their top priority no matter the outcome. Everyone treats you as if your part of the family. MANY THANKS NVH...

Newberg Vet is top notch. We have been working with them for about 10 years and they have helped us through the mild issues like colds etc. to the hard stuff like saying goodbye when the time has come. Each and every time they have been kind and exceptional. We would go nowhere else in Newberg and they are a blessing to our community. Thank you Newberg Vet!! ❤️

Newberg Vet Hospital has taken exceptional care of our cats for the last 39 years. That includes our house cats and barn, feral and stray cats numbering to date 49. They are caring and empathetic especially when the hard decision of euthanasia is made. We will continue to use their services and be grateful they are there for our clowder.

Newberg Vet has been looking after my fur babies since I moved to the states in 2009. I would highly recommend them. All of them are caring and compassionate from the Doctors on down to the receptionists. If they can handle my crazy, unruly 2 yr old Kona, they can do anything!????Wouldn't go anywhere else!

We drive nearly an hour and a half from our home at the coast to Newberg Veterinary Hospital for any of our more complex veterinary needs for our labrador retrievers. Their extensive hours of operations, urgent care options, and large experienced staff of veterinarians and support personnel make this worth the trip.

We have an older cat and a middle aged "giant" dog...Both have needed more specialized care. Newberg Veterinary Hospital has more than exceeded our hopes. Both animals do great with the folks there and their medical needs are covered with exceptional care. We are thankful.

Newberg Vet Hospital is by far the best vet hospital in our area, we drive an extra 12 miles just for their excellent service. Dr Weber is awesome. Our black lab actually loves going to the vet!

This vet is open convenient hours. They also went out of their way to accommodate new patients.

Fabulous vets! Second break for this little guy and they got him right in. Staff is always friendly and my animals love the staff.
