The staff here is amazing. They always provide the best care. Some of them have worked there over 15 years. I highly recommend them.

Month and a half wait time, on a day before appointment rescheduled for another day. At appointment I asked for a doctor to see me before anything was done. Another tech came out and listened to my concerns and told me he's not a doctor. I said what's the point of explaining all to him, can I please see the doctor. Doctor came out and told me I was rude and didn't want to look at my bird. Terrible service and that's not my first time here never was too happy with them. Never coming back!

Dr lintner is the best avian vet I have been able to find in the portland metro area. She is amazing and I reccomend her to everyone for their pet birds. Shes seen both my cockatiels and one of my doves and everytime shes been able to figure out the problem and help them get back to healthy tip top shape.

I decided to choose the Avian Medical Center to use as my Conures regular avian vet. I have visited for check ups and recently had to bring my conure in after being shut in a door. Dr. Thomas and Dr. Litner were AMAZING. I got updates every day on how my conure was doing and if she was making progress. Thank you for getting her in within a reasonable time and saving her life. Very professional and affordable.

They are very friendly. However, over the last couple years we have noticed some questionable behavior performed by Dr litner and staff. Of course this has put us on edge of whether or not we wanted to stay with Dr litner. But after today's visit, I think we have decided to look elsewhere. We brought in my macaw for a nail trim and our cockatoo for a beak trim. Upon picking the birds up, I was told that they were concerned about our cockatoo's nails and performed a nail trim on him too. At first, I thought they wouldn't charge me for that since I never authorized the nail trim nor did they call me beforehand and ask my permission. But what do you know? They charged me for it. They charged me for a nail trim that I never authorized nor gave them permission to do so. Highly unprofessional and unethical. Update: Dr litner just took the time herself to contact me and apologize for what happened. Apparently, I wasn't supposed to get charged for it since she did only trim the cockatoos two back inner nails. Unfortunately, Dr litner is struggling a little bit to keep up due to a physical injury and isn't always able to communicate everything to staff. I really do appreciate her taking the time to reach out and explain though.

Hard to find a good vet,, this is a great place for Good vets. And my birds are happy ☺️????

This was the best avian veterinary experience that we have had for our 26 year old African Grey. Economical even for an emergency visit. Highly recommended. Our parrot was properly diagnosed and was quickly on the mend.

Took my cockatiel to them- he's 32 years old, and I was a bit worried about it. The vets were so gentle with him, and thorough, and he was disgruntled, but felt MUCH better. Will definitely be making them his main vet!

Dr. Lintner and her staff are caring and professional. They have done an excellent job of helping us care for our chickens. We had one that ultimately needed to be put down today and they were helpful and kind during what was a sad time for our family. I highly recommend this clinic.

We have been taking our African Grey parrot Whim here for grooming and check ups for 28 years now. He is healthy and happy. We have also boarded him when taking vacations. The services are excellent and we feel so lucky to have Whim in such excellent care.

If i could give 10 stars, i would. Dr. Lintner and her staff, are the Awsome, in Awsome Sauce. They made time, on their lunch hour, I think, to operate on my Cockatoo's broken wing. It was pinned, an it was a success. The comfort and care was, over the top. The Bill, was more than fair. Staff stayed in contact with updates, and took info from me, to make my bird feel the best he could while under there care. I pray for God to richly bless them all for the Awsomeness that they do. We thank you all, very much!

I love the entire staff at the Avian Medical Center. They are not only very friendly but are attentive and always show so much love and care toward my Amazon parrot. They are very experienced and it's a great relief knowing and trusting that she's in good hands with them all for any type of service, treatment, and when she's being boarded while I'm away. They're awesome!

We have been here a few times for check-ups and a feather concern. The staff is helpful, kind, and very careful with COVID-19 safety. If you love your bird and want the best care then Avian Medical is the home for you.

They only do birds and are experts on birds.

They didn't return my phone call.

You can tell they live their jobs and are very good at what they do!

Dr Litner and her staff have been incredibly helpful during the challenges of our beloved boy. Our sweet boy started acting strange about 6 months ago and broke his collarbone recently when he started acting erratically. They have been incredibly helpful in helping him to heal and find out what is the health cause of his behavior change. I am forever grateful for their professional service and demeanor, and I know he is in the best hands possible.

This is a wonderful office.’ They are caring and compassionate and provide excellent care.
