Laurel Acres Kennels Hillsboro, Oregon

I boarded my two dachshunds and two kittens at Laurel Acres over Thanksgiving break and they were amazing! I was wary boarding the kittens, worried that they would be stressed but they had a blast! The staff sent pictures of them playing and it was reassuring knowing that they were being so well taken care of. Whenever I emailed them, I got a response within a few hours. My dachshunds were kenneled together and didn’t do as well as they usually did at a different boarding facility I had taken them to, and became food aggressive towards each other, but the staff was on top of it and separated them and they seemed to do a lot better. They called immediately and let me know, which I appreciated. Definitely will be recommending them in the future!

This is a great kennel/boarder. They take intact animals which I had NO idea would be such a huge issue (never boarded my boy before). They could tell I was nervous and told me to call to check-in anytime. They kept an honest report of his behavior but never once seemed to get annoyed with him. Like I said, was his first stay, he's a bit high strung and can be grumpy. We will definitely use and recommend them to others in the future.

Always professional, courteous and kind. I feel very good about boarding my dog Sully with them. He is reactive to other dogs, so he cannot play with other dogs. The staff accommodate extra services without complaint, like nature walks and extra potty breaks even though he pulls like a freight train. Great grooming services also!!

Laurel Acres is the only place we will kennel our corgi’s. The service at Laurel Acres is top notch and I tell everybody I can to kennel their animals there because it is the best place.

We needed to travel out of town for a wedding & couldnt take the pups with us. We had not boarded our babies before, so it was a little nerve wracking. They seemed happy from the moment we dropped them off & seemed very well cared for when we arrived back home. One of the dogs has a tail injury from wagging it so much while he was there, but it will eventually heal up.

Looking forward to boarding our Mo'na Here, this summer for a short stai.

Have used these awesome sitters for a few weeks while travelling out of the state. The staff is friendly with us and our pups absolutely love them.

We had to leave our Labrador with Laurel Acres for 10 days and we found their service to be exceptional. Our dog developed a minor illness while she was with Laurel Acres. Turns out she swallowed a piece of her own chew toy (we brought for her) and had a scratched throat from bringing it back up. The staff at Laurel Acres gave us updates on every thing from her meals to her bathroom breaks... They even adjusted her playtime from being too rambunctious with other dogs to quiet walks for her exercise because she needed to take it easy. They really put us at ease. I would recommend Laurel Acres without hesitation. Thanks for taking such good care of our pup!

We've been coming to Laurel Acres for almost 17 years now whenever we need to board our dogs. In that time we've had 4 dogs stay there. I highly recommend Laurel Acres for the personalized attention they give to your dogs. They offer separate runs for your dogs if they may not get along well together, or you can board them together for a discount. They offer super fun activities and when we go to pick up our dogs, they pretty much sleep the rest of the day because they are so tired. I.e. Happy Dogs. We currently live almost an hour away but make the drive because we've been so pleased with them. Keep up the great work and thank you for providing such a great place for boarding. We love the peace of mind knowing our dogs will be well taken care of.

Second home for our dog Frodo. Plenty of space, idyllic setting and lovely staff make for some very happy pups. Very reasonable rates and plenty of optional extras to pamper your pooches. Whenever we are out of town this is where Frodo stays. He gets to hang out there with Legolas! We just need to find the rest of the fellowship????

Very happy with my experience boarding 2 dogs and 2 cats here. As a veterinarian I am pretty picky about who takes care of my own pets, but the facility is nice, clean, and hygienic. When I had questions at pickup, Camille was helpful in resolving my concerns. Will definitely recommend to my friends and use this facility again when needed.

Our dog is always happy to stay here. They take such good care of her when we are away that we have no reservations boarding her at Laurel Acres.

Fair prices, friendly staff, nice facility and property! The kennel is pretty big, so they have helped me out when I needed a last minute option to board my pup!

I dropped my 2 dogs and cat off for boarding through Labor Day and the staff was very polite and accommodating. It was the first time I've been away from them so I was anxious to know how they were doing. The staff was very prompt with updating me how their stay was going. I felt comfortable leaving them at Laurel Acres and they were returned to me happy and in good health. I highly recommend Laurel Acres for dog and cat boarding.

We have two older complicated behavior large dogs, one of them needs medication. Our dogs have stayed at the kennel many times in the last few months and they always walk in super excited to be there. I only wish the extra services (walk, cuddle, play time) would come in a little cheaper so we could get more of those services for our dogs. I see kennel cough complaints which I totally understand but any dogs that attend a kennel should be vaccinated? Any way so far very satisfied
