Man, where to start. I saw some reviews on here when I scoped out wiggly tails to consider adopting “Bodhi” and there were a couple not so good ones. I decided to go ahead with it because I figured those people may have been angry because they weren’t chosen to adopt a certain animal based on their circumstances. If that were the case, that should be a positive review because they care enough to make sure they’re going to a good home. I COULD NOT HAVE BEEN MORE RIGHT! Just such an amazing experience. This review is probably going to sound fake because I’m so happy. I spoke and dealt with Cat through the entire adoption process and she is the sweetest person in the world. She answered any questions I had and explained everything clearly. But since I’m a terrible listener when I’m excited, I was able to contact her anytime I wanted to to clarify things. I probably bothered her 6 or 7 times other the next month about various things. Every time she’d get back to me within minutes. The rescue covered all his first vaccines and just made everything so easy. Cat gave me a huge bag of treats, food, accessories, a seat belt, leash, harness, collar, etc. Even a blanket for the trip home to PDX. I never even had to buy any pee pads (partly bc Bodhi’s such a good boy) but also because she gave me like 2 months worth. You can tell that Cat really cares and loves what she does. Ignoring the fact that they are ALL VOLUNTEERS, it was amazing how easy they made everything and how great their service and their commitment to finding great homes for all of these deserving pups. If you truly want a best friend that you are going to love and care for, there’s no better place to go through than wiggly tails. Please leave a review for them with your experience only if you get far enough in the adoption process that you are picked as the best home, they deserve it. Don’t be mad if they found a more suitable home for an animal. And tell Cat, Lance says hi :-). 10 out of 5 stars here!

To say this “business” ( I refuse to call you guys a rescue because you so poorly represent the concept of a dog rescue) is unprofessional would be a huge understatement. My father is a very good man and has been searching high and low for a rescue dog for years. When I rescued my dogs through a local shelter it was incredibly simple, and rewarding. The volunteers and staff were so incredibly helpful and genuine, the exact opposite of Wiggly Tails. My dad has sent in multiple applications - just to apply to adopt! That’s it! And each time you’ve supposedly had no record (so you were sloppy and disorganized and lost his paperwork) and when he - still interested in finding a dog and giving you guys a chance - was treated so horribly . The woman had a horrible attitude and instead of apologizing and fixing the problem, acted as if my dad was a nuisance and failed to do anything except alienate him. After almost two years - YES TWO YEARS trying to simply be processed to be available for a dog- he gave up. You guys were so rude and he was not heard, so he decided to leave a review on Facebook just to warn others so they didn’t have to go through what he did. You then proceeded to block him.. very immature but I’m calling you out. My dad didn’t harass you, didn’t behave poorly or do anything at all for that matter other than leave a review explaining his poor experience with you guys and your response was to block him... RED FLAG. After reading other reviews it looks like among many other poor interactions with people , you guys have a habit of disappointing customers as well as steering away many amazing potential doggy parents . Which leads me to understand that you are in the wrong occupation , and if you genuinely loved animals the compassion would be obvious and the objective would be placing these dogs. If you can’t handle it, and don’t have the heart and patience for it, don’t screw up these poor dogs chances at a wonderful home. My dad has been looking for a dog for so long and like others have said you have wasted his time . You can’t block me. Have some compassion , for the dogs sake.

Don't bother i have filled out multiple apps ,(I own my own house on 2 acres) they call or email you back or acknowledge that you tired, waste of time .Then they block you from Facebook if they don't like your review

Wiggly tales is a great service that is needed. They just don't have enough people behind them to get it all done. They are doing the best they can. We adopted an adorable little boy. In the end it turned out very well. Sure wish I could help out. They are volenteers and very busy. Job well done.

Adopt, adopt, adopt, adopt. We got our new family member from this Rescue. His name is Rupert. We are beyond happy. They were very quick to respond to our online application. We set up a meeting for a time that worked for both of us. If you meet the animal you should be aware you will take home same day. It is volunteer ran and they honestly deserve all your patience. They were wonderfully amazing people to work with. I will recommend anyone to them. Thank you for our new family member. He is so happy and fit right into our family.

Would give zero stars if I could. Went to an adoption event. My son fell in love with a puppy. Called the next day and we were told he was still available. The puppy had not even been listed on their site yet. We said we wanted him and they said “great!” then silence. For the next several days, my wife tried to contact them each day to figure out how to proceed with the adoption. Tried on Facebook, phone, and email. We got a response once on Facebook asking us to submit an application we had already submitted. We submitted it again. After nearly a week, we finally get a call back saying all the puppies from that litter are adopted. They never were listed on their site. They claim they got no messages from us, even the one they responded to. They can’t tell us how the unlisted puppies all got adopted. I now have a 6 year old in tears. Terrible experience, no communication, poor organization. Avoid.

I cannot say how much I dislike this company right now. I write this as my son is upstairs crying. We met the the dog. We were told the dog was available. We tried to adopt the dog, only to be snubbed for a week, and then get a disorganized call from someone saying essentially that the dog was never available. "They think" he was adopted at the event we were at; they told us after the event he was not. They never saw our repeated messages through all forms of contact. There is the disorganization of being run by well meaning and overworked volunteers, and then there is this. Whatever this is, I have never come across it before. I would say it is a scam but they do have dogs, some people do get dogs, and the only thing they take from you is your time and emotional investment.

AVOID!!! Please do not adopt/foster from this organization. Poor communication and very disorganized. My mother took in a foster dog with an unknown background. The next day the dog escaped and ran away. The entire day my mother looked everywhere for her and put out posts. Turned out someone found the dog same day and contacted wiggly tails-in which the organization didn't acknowledge.

I adopted my dog Jasmine from them last August and it was a wonderful experience. She is the light of my life. I highly recommend Wiggly Tails to all potential adopters.

We adopted a wonderful puppy in early 2020. Very happy. We decided to adopt another dog from Wiggly Tails recently who sadly didn’t work out (major aggression issues, biting, etc.) Upon returning the dog, who was quickly adopted again (yay!) we were told our money would be refunded in 7-10 days. Never received it. After several messages, our money (minus $50) is finally being refunded. A month to reverse charges is kind of nuts. Very happy with our first dog but not happy that a simple refund took a month.

Made an appointment with Miranda to see a puppy that had a brother and sister. Just before the meeting Miranda changed the puppy and offered another to my wife. Then, when questioned about it she lied about the entire arrangement. To say the least, we were disappointed, frustrated and upset. Fortunately we found a breeder who is reliable and feel comfortable putting our trust in them for a puppy

Adopting our little Michelle through Wiggly Tails Dog Rescue has been a fantastic experience. Although they are receiving sometimes 100s of applications for each puppy, Miranda took her time with us and was great at explaining the process. I could tell how deeply she cares about the dogs she places. I was surprised to know that Wiggly Tails is run completely by volunteers. I could tell how passionate they are about placing dogs with caring families. The adoption process was exactly what we were looking for. After our application was accepted, we scheduled a 30 minute meet and greet appointment and then we’re given the opportunity to take Michelle home for 7 days to foster her to make sure she is a good fit. We were given all of her history and lots of coupons for pet supplies including lots of free food to get us started. If we e have any questions we are able to contact her previous foster mom or Miranda. I feel great about this adoption and prepared to bring Michelle into our family. I would highly recommend Wiggly Tails. Although we are not finished with our seven days I can tell Michelle fits in perfectly.

I am so grateful to Wiggly Tails for the furry addition to our family. I can't imagine life without her. Wiggly Tails made the whole adoption process seamless and were so helpful with referrals for training and products. The protocols they have enforced during Covid made this venture feel safe during a very uncertain time. I highly recommend this organization, as they put the well-being of the animals they serve at the forefront.

I just wanted to share our experience adopting our little girl, Amyah Grayce. From start to finish the entire staff was so kind and professional, we met at their facility on North Park. I had never been to a shelter or rescue so I was unsure what to expect and we walked into a happy space, that smelled clean and looked clean. When we met our pup she was scared and sweet, she was clean and VERY well cared for. I just can't say enough about what a truly EXCELLENT experience it was. Thank you Wiggly Tails for rescuing these animals ❤ and placing them in loving 4-ever homes.

Got my first puppy from them back in march of 2019. They were very helpful and set me up for success by giving me some starter toys, a blanket, collar, and packet filled with information and coupons. Would recommend!

No posted hours, wouldn't return my call about a dog I was interested in. Drove there and got told they weren't open and that the dog had already been adopted. All around it was a bad experience.

They didn’t know all details and told us we could get the puppy, my children got excited and went and played with the puppy for them to message me later that night and tell me that it can’t happen! Very disappointed in this. The director or whoever makes the rules needs to let their people know everything before they start anything with adoptions. I most likely will not try and adopt for them again. I am extremely disappointed in how it went down. How can you foster a breed in an apartment, but can’t adopt into an apartment. ????

We purchased our girl from Wiggly tails on July 11th. Found out she was never immunized. Laura promised to pay for the injections from my vet. I turned in my receipt in early August and was told they would send my $ right away. August came and went, September came and went and now its October and Laura finally paid for my vet bill. I called her and she absolutely refused to take my calls or return messages. I would never recommend Wiggly tails to anyone. Business is not run on a professional basis. Employees or volunteers did not know if she was chipped and promised that she had received injections before I left Wiggly tails. Terrible customer service.

This "rescue" doesn't know what it's doing. Do yourself a favor and don't adopt from them.

I would strongly recommend using this rescue to adopt your new fur baby. They hold adoption events at PetSmart in Eugene pretty much every Saturday. The foster parents bring the dogs and you get to basically do a meet and greet on however many dogs you’d like and it really helps you to get to know them and see which dog will be compatible with you the best. At first I was hesitant to attend one of the adoption events because I wanted to meet the dog one on one and decide if they were right for me, but I quickly learned the adoption event is the best way to go! You get to see how the dogs interact with one another which is important and awesome to see! The foster parents know a lot about the dogs and that is incredibly helpful. They bring the dog to your home and do a home visit to ensure your home is safe which is a huge plus to me. They really care about their dogs and the life they will be in for the future. The dogs are also fixed, vaccinated, and well kept. You can tell they are really cared for! The foster parents check in with you and give you advice and the foster mom I went through (Ronni) has been so helpful already and I just brought my fur baby home tonight. I’d say one of their only down falls is they seem to really only adopt to this area since they do home visits. I have family and friends outside of this area I’d love to recommend to adopt from here but I don’t really recommend them for this reason.

I have such a mix of emotions! We just adopted our new baby today!! We are nervous and excited, and we know we are in for a wild ride. However, there was one lady that had some sort of problem with us, stating that after we had already talked to fostermom in length about 30 mins that we need her to see our application again (we live in an apt, but it is big) because "she would NOT have approved us knowing our situation". Apparently she is just rude in general, and guess what? Foster mom approved which trumps her and her little negative feelings. We will love this sweet little baby forever, and he is going to have an amazing home. Everyone but her was VERY helpful and supportive, but I had to knock off a star for that woman. They are helping us have an amazingly smooth transition, and we are excited to join the Wiggly Tails Family!! Baby comes home Monday for the home visit and to answer any other questions. There is a special place in heaven for these foster parents ????????

We adopted a little poodle mix the first part of January from Wiggly Tails. What a wonderful group of people. We truly appreciate what they are doing for these little dogs. We are in love with our new dog Flower. She is so loving and affectionate. What a sweety we have. Thank you Angel and all the staff at Wiggly Tail.
