This was hands down the worst experience i have had purchasing a dog. Kate is completely unprofessional i am still confused how a person like her is even capable of running a business. Not only does she have no idea how to talk to a customer she asks like a petty high school student who still hasn’t had her period. If you want to receive a dog with no problems and quality service this is NOT the place to go.

absolutely horrendous experience with this breeder they gave away OUR dog and refused to do anything about it. I am amazed at how poorly a “professional” business can be run. if you want to buy a dog i would suggest ANY OTHER breeder.

I love my puppy from LK but I would not recommend them to anyone who hasn't paid the deposit. The first issue is about health problems. My puppy came home from them with Coccidia and Giardia (both common in puppies) and they initially said they would pay for the treatment but didn't because she didn't have symptoms. When she was a bit older I sent her back for a month of training and she developed really bad cherry eye (genetic condition causing prolapse of her tear gland). They paid for her eye drops while she was there but I eventually needed to pay for surgery to have it fixed. Another big problem was the lack of communication during her time with them for training. They weren't able to send me any videos or update me very much on how she was doing medically - I'd remind them almost daily to send me an update and they always said they would but never did and the same thing would happen the next day. In the end I never saw any videos of her training and Kate had very limited time when she gave my pup back to me so she agreed to do two free training sessions later which was really nice. Unfortunately they don't seem to be following through on this - they wanted me to pay the travel costs for them to do the "free" training even though the reason we are in this situation is because they didn't follow through on the training I had already paid for. Overall I think they take good care of their dogs, my puppy was really well socialized and had good manners but I think they're a bit busy and not able to follow through on commitments which has been disappointing after paying 5000$+. I'd look for somewhere with fewer litters that can dedicate more time to taking care of your puppy.

I highly recommend LK Bernedoodles! Words cannot begin to express what a wonderful experience I have had working with Kate and her team! When I initiated the process of selecting a Bernedoodle breeder, I was shocked by the lack of responsiveness of many breeders. That was not the case with Kate. From day one she has always taken the time to respond in a timely manner and answer any questions I had. She is personable, professional and truly passionate about what she does. I chose to have my puppy, Burt, attend four weeks of LK puppy training prior to coming to me. His trainer was Tyrah and she is AMAZING. People are amazed at how calm, confident & well-mannered Burt is at such a young age! I would highly recommend the training program to anyone considering it. Burt arrived to me with the assistance of his “puppy flight nanny,” Brandon. The entire process was incredibly well organized and I could not be happier with the entire experience and most importantly my beautiful new puppy. Many thanks to the entire team at LK Bernedoodles!

Beware!! This has every indication of being a puppy mill! If I could give negative stars, I would! This is not only the worst dog breeder I could ever imagine dealing with, Kate (the owner) is arguably the worst human being I’ve ever had to deal with in my life. I won’t get into the weeds with the horrible experience that we’ve had, which involved a dame “eating her puppies”. Just know that once they get your money, they refuse to communicate with you whatsoever. If you email, text, or DM them, they will respond with “check the website for updates”. That would be fine if there were ever updates on the actual website. Unfortunately, I’m writing this review in late August, and they have not updated their website since May. Not great when you’re asking for information on a litter that is multiple weeks past due. They promised a specific breed litter over and over and yet no puppies were offered since last October. After having zero puppy updates, no information on the website or Instagram, rude responses when questioned and then apparently the only litter puppies being eaten (no info on pregnancy or birth so already highly suspect) they tried to hold our money hostage until lawyers were brought in. DO NOT USE THEM.

Forever thankful to LK Bernedoodles for the expertise and passion for high quality responsible breeding. LK Bernedoodles has provided me with such an amazing new family member! Her personality fits into our family perfectly and she is great around the small children. Kate and the entire team at LK Bernedoodles was wonderful to work with. Her transparency and communication made it easy to trust the process. If I ever decide to expand my family again, I will definitely be coming back!

Kate certainly passed my phone interview, to the extent that I now feel comfortable announcing that I intend to adopt on of her puppies. You know, getting a dog is a really HUGE thing for me, and it has now been a two year process in deciding on a Bernedoodle. After interviewing many breeders, I feel good about LK Bernedoodles, and will be updating this as the process unfolds, all the way to the actual adoption, although I expect things will be stellar in every update. Also, I have personally located two breeders that were scammers, and are now no longer on Google.
