We’ve had our sweet yet reactive rescue dog in the reactive rover I and one-on-one training with Lauren and have been able to use tools and training to keep our dog safe and calmer in previously really stressful scenarios. Beyond this though, I appreciate so much what we’ve learned from Lauren. She educates about the behavior and how certain responses on our part will play out which allows us to better support our dog. It’s been life changing working with her.

An amazing experience for both my self and my puppy! I truly cannot believe how much we both learned in such a short amount of time. I would highly recommend for anyone who loves their dog and wants to learn some effective tools. Loved it!

Keanna ran an awesome class. The place was well set-up to manage half a dozen young dogs. She responded to every (human) student's question. Her explanations were clear and helpful. Most importantly, she had chosen well the lessons our "teenage" dogs needed to learn, and broke down the component parts so that the humans could teach their dogs in steps that would lead to success, not frustration and anger on both human and canine parts. My doggie and I learned a lot, and had a lot of fun too. Pup was always so excited when we got in the car and he realized where we were headed. I would recommend these classes, and Keanna as a trainer, to anyone.

Our class was amazing and very informative! The trainers at CCS really take the time to help each individual dog and their unique quirks! We will definitely be taking more classes from them.

It was fun, friendly and loving group to be with. Pierre did learn three basis commands; sit, lay down, and paw. Keanna was very good at explaining the learning process for young puppies. I feel that I was the one slowing down my puppy. Pierre is much smarter than me. Excellent all around experience. I just wish there could be training in the day time.

We adopted a very large puppy named Meatball who had some serious issues. He was very afraid of people and it was very difficult to have new people meet him. It was really scary for him and for the people he was meeting. In 12 weekly sessions (and homework) we have gotten to the point where it takes a couple minutes to meet new people and it's actually a fun experience for everyone involved (including Meatball)! Lauren was really knowledgeable and so good at reading dogs. She always knew what Meatball needed and what steps should be taken next. I can't imagine a better person for training a reactive dog! We had a ton of misconceptions about dog training and through this experience have learned a ton. Lauren also made sure to give us the tools to train him so he can keep improving even now that our sessions are over!

Lauren and the team are professional, supportive, funny, and very understanding! Progress with an older, reactivate feels slow sometimes, but they've helped our anxious dog a lot and are great cheerleaders of dog and owners alike!

I’m so happy Creative Canine Solutions exists in our community! My rescue pup and I just wrapped Lauren’s Reactive Rover 1 class, and I feel more encouraged and supported than I have since adopting our anxious girl over a year ago. I appreciate Lauren’s wealth of experience, sense of humor and commitment to humane training backed by science. We are so excited to continue our training journey with CCS, and highly recommend CCS’ services to anyone looking to start their own.

Absolutely worth every penny. Lauren has helped us tremendously with our reactive dog after only three sessions. I deeply appreciate that Lauren sets realistic goals, expects the trainers to hold up their end and do training outside of class, and is dedicated to providing a well-researched, scientifically proven methodology. What a great dog trainer.

Below is my email in my final attempt to correspond with Creative Canine Solutions. They are not answering my calls, not calling me back, not responding to my emails. Very professional outfit here *sarcasm. They rejected my puppy for not having proper vaccine records even though I followed their advice. I am a business owner myself and I’m appalled at the lack or responsiveness and unprofessionalism. Keep in mind I lost $200 and received no compensation. Lauren (owner), While I completely understand the need for proof of vaccines, I do not understand why you accepted my application and charged me for a course that Persy was not approved for. Then, further exacerbated the problem by relaying a message through the instructor that was unaware of the exact issues while not even attempting to let me know otherwise until the night before the second class (2 weeks later). This was something that should have been resolved before I was ever charged for the course! And, if you’ll recall correctly, that was exactly what was done upon my first attempt to enroll. So naturally I assumed that everything was good when you accepted my second attempt at enrollment. To add insult to injury, you are presumably unwilling to make this right in any capacity outside of allowing me to attend the remainder of the course without my puppy. This makes me strongly question your knowledge of training as 75% of the benefit will come from the puppy actually being there. You further suggested I go to a vet and have her revaccinated, which further compromises the puppies immune system. No vet with a credit to their name will vouch for Persy without administering the vaccines themselves, this was made clear to me multiple times. Lastly, it is preposterous to even attempt a claim that I took another dog’s spot in the course. There were only 4 dogs enrolled and plenty of room for additional attendees. This is bad business, plain and simple. I try to keep my business local, but situations like this make it hard to look that direction. I went with your course regardless of the fact that you were $85 more expensive than petsmart (with a coupon). You could have offered a private class or a credit for later training but nothing was offered. This cost me a lot of money, I hope you’ll reconsider a refund or a real alternative because coming to puppy training without my puppy is not an option. ***update as I cannot reply to the owner’s comment on here and she is somehow only able to respond to me through this medium. The receptionist at creative canine DID NOT tell me to take photos of the bottles. She said to take pictures of the packaging showing what the vaccine was that I was administering. I did exactly that. This still doesn’t change the fact that Persy should not have been administered into the course and some form of compensation should have been given. You did not call me 3 times in regards to the vaccine issue. You relayed one message through your instructor who was unaware of the issue and said I’m probably good. You emailed me and asked me to send a photo of the vaccine without saying anything about an issue with the first photo, so I assumed you needed the same one again. You then emailed me to say thank you for the photo and again several hours later to tell me your insurance rejected it. Then you called and told me you were keeping my money. Thanks for nothing. I’ve already talked to many people about your business and will be contacting my credit card company to report no rendering of services.

When I called Creative Canine Solutions I was feeling completely hopeless about my pitbull, who kept running out at other dogs walking past our house and reacting to other dogs when we were out and about. I wanted to be responsible and have a well-behaved dog but “google training” him myself was not working. It had gotten to the point where I felt trapped inside the house with my crazy dog, and it was awful. I knew I needed help but was hesitant to spend the money on a trainer. Now I can say that the money I spent hiring Lauren was some of the best money I’ve ever spent. After our first 30 minute phone consultation I had SUCH a better understanding of my dog’s behavior, because Lauren knows SO MUCH about dogs. She was able to educate me on my dog’s breed specific behaviors, learning styles, play style, etc., and she gave me hope that we could actually make progress. I hired her for 12 weeks, and the progress we made was incredible. Lauren was so devoted to my dog and his training, was incredibly organized and responsive. Oh, and my dog fell in love with her ???? At the end of our time together, my dog was able to lay calmly on the grass while a puppy romped past him just feet in front of him, and he didn’t react!!!! Since then we’ve been able to take him on vacation with us to places where there are other dogs, and we have the tools to help him stay calm. He isn’t perfect and is still learning, but I think that’s one of the very best things we got out of training: I understand his behavior, what triggers it, and I know what to do to help him get better and better. I’ve recommended Creative Canine Solutions to several friends and will continue to do so.

I took a trick class with Lauren over zoom and she did a great job of balancing the varying needs of the class, making it fun and engaging, challenging us without rushing, and providing all the information we needed before, during, and after each lesson. I would definitely recommend her to everyone!

When we found Lauren we were the parents of a 3 month old Cavapoo, named Bailey. We knew we wanted our puppy to become a well behaved dog, but had no idea how to get there. Enter Lauren. We signed up for 6 in home one-on-one sessions and it was amazing how quickly Bailey took to the lessons. Then as the weeks went on, we used the sessions to brainstorm issues that had come up since our last visit. With Bailey doing her part, us working hard, and the continued support from Lauren, we know that eventually Bailey will be that puppy who people say, “you have such a sweet and well behaved dog”. Eventually! :) Thank you Lauren.

Lauren is patient and thoughtful in her approach with my nervous pitty mix, Apollo. She has a lot of experience with canines that have issues with dog reactivity and anxiety. I would highly recommend her to anyone who wants to start of on the right foot with their pup, or work on existing behavioral issues.

In late 2018 I adopted a 6 month old bernedoodle; aka Frankie. After several months of working with her on my own (unsuccessfully!) we found Lauren. Lauren is the closest thing I know to a dog whisperer. When Frankie and I first began working with Lauren, Frankie was disruptive, unable to pay attention, and unruly. Lauren knew Frankie was looking for attention and ignored the behavior. After a few short months, Frankie was clicker trained to sit, chill out, and come when called. Lauren not only trained Frankie, but trained me. She shared with me the importance of consistency and rewarding with treats when Frankie does what she's asked to do. She took videos of Frankie doing what she was to do, then sent them to me and gave me weekly homework. Frankie is now 20 months and is turning into a great dog. She even went for her first jog recently and crushed it! Frankie and I will be clients of Lauren's for a long time. A trained dog is a happier dog...and I believe that first hand.....thanks to Lauren.
