Two of my dogs needed ER care on the same day for different reasons. One came home after 36 hours, but the other required surgery as he ingested a foreign object. The staff kept me informed with reports in the am and pm of his condition. Two friends had positive experience with WVH which made my decision to drive to Corvallis an easy one even though they were not the closest to me. So glad I did. I can't say enough good things about the staff at WVH!!!

Took my dog into get shots they didnt tell me i had a 3-4 week window to be back.. So i call a month later. To see when im suppose to be back in. They tell me i have 2 days to bring her in.. Well thanks for the notice. Well i couldnt make it in 2days. So now the shot process has to restart.. If my dog needed to be back in 3-4weeks they should have rescheduled me to come back. Now they say its on me and my $350 dollars i just paid goes down the drain. I have restart because they didnt reschedule me in the time that my dog need its second vacs.

After having a bad experience with a vet, we decided to come here. We were amazed and relieved with the amazing service we got here. We were met with so much empathy and care for not only our pup but ourselves as well. They take payment plans through scratchpay worked through every possible option we had. We couldn’t be happier with our choice to come here when our dog was extremely sick and after already spending so much money at another vet. Thank you!

I’ve taken two of my cats here over the past few years. I appreciate their service both as a routine vet, and for emergency services. Had to put one of my cats down, and they were excellent, supportive, and compassionate through the process.

I used to take my dog to Banfield, but I have now switched to Willamette Veterinary Hospital because of the great care my dog has received from the vets and assistants at Willamette Veterinary Hospital.

I took my 10 month old puppy here and I would do it again! They took wonderful care of my pup and were very good at communicating with me in regards to wait time and what was going on with him. I’m really grateful for everyone at willamette veterinary hospital and the work that they do!

My wife and I were up most of the night with a sick dog. At 6:00 AM we decided we had to take him to a vet ER. We got to Willamette Vet Hosp. about 6:30 and were assured we were "first in line". Over an hour later we gave up as our regular vet would soon be open. The staff did not seem to have any concern for us or our animal. Never been treated so badly by a vet staff. I would give no stars if the software allowed.

Do not trust them with the care of your pets.

These "Vets" do not care for or love animals. They are posers, wont even take a stray dog that was out in the cold all night. What kind of people would become a vet then deny taking in a stray? I thought yall "Love animals". Your commercials are fake too, almost as much as your staff.

I called to let the vet know that I would be 10 minutes late. The person on the phone said it was fine as long as that I wasn’t more than 15 minutes. I had to drive an hour to get there. I pulled into parking lot 9 minutes late and checked in at 2:13 . They cancelled my appointment. Asked me to wait with 7 puppies and mom for 2.5 hours in my car. Until they could get us in to be seen. Terrible communication and lack of any empathy at all.

This office has been nothing but a pain to deal with. They do not chart accurately, forgot to call us when we were turned away at the door during an emergency, and forgot to call us back when we had another urgent request for help. We had to advocate for our pet since our vet would not. After an unpleasant interaction, we were eventually told to not return. Please protect your animal if you choose this office.

I would give 0 stars if possible. This is one of the only places open in a 50 mile radius for emergency vet care 24/7. They advertise they can help 24/7, 365 days a year. However, I spent the last hour worried about my pup, calling over and over again just to hear “sorry, no one is available to take your call”. That was on the emergency line…. My advise, please find a different back up plan for your pets. This is not reliable and it completely scared me that no one was available anywhere in town when I was seriously worried about my dog.

Six years ago, our dog was stung by a bee and she went into anaphylaxis. Ever since then, wherever we go, we always have 2 epi pens with us, just in case. Well, this past Friday evening, we were out for a walk and she was stung by a yellow jacket. We immediately took her Willamette Veterinary Hospital and received THE BEST care. They treated her right away b/c they saw she was swelling up and I'm pretty certain they saved her life. They checked in with us every 30-45 minutes and gave her medical care with love and kindness. I highly recommend the WVH - the Doctor, Nurse, and Technicians were all top notch. If we ever have another pet emergency, they will be our go-to providers. THANK YOU!!!

Its frightening when your fur baby shows signs of being ill and presents what looks like a life or death circumstance. it was early Saturday morning, when our girl was lethargic, and we were not able to get in to see our Vet. My friend recommended Willamette Veterinary Hospital. I knew that covid would present a problem, as far as being able to communicate with the hospital staff. However, when I got there everything was organized, two people came out to the car and talked to me about what was going on with her. The attendants were organized about getting information, explained the time frame of how things were going to happen, and rushed our girl in. From there, the communication was outstanding. Phone calls from inside the hospital to our car were regular, follow up questions were asked. The Dr came out and talked to me, and she gave me details of what was going to happen. From the time we got there until three days later we got phone calls each morning and each evening. They didn't mind when I called, when I worried. The staff from the front desk to the nurses and vets in ICU, all were friendly, empathetic and encouraging. The hospital was as clean and neat as one would hope, and the staff seemed to genuinely care. I hope never to have a scare like this again, but if I do, I would return to this Veterinary Hospital given the same circumstances. Thank you to all who works there and saved our little Ro-Ro. God bless you for your skill and your kindness.

I brought in my sick puppy and they were able to get her in right away and diagnose her illness quickly. I am so grateful for their staff as they are kind, patient, and compassionate. I switched vets because I was so impressed with their impeccable service.

I woke up to having to take my Bennie who was 14.5 years old there. They were awesome and got us right in. Unfortunately I lost him. The Vet along with the whole staff was very very sympathetic and so nice. I can't thank them enough. They were all awesome ❤️.

Everyone was kind and accommodating, and the vet kept me informed during the visit. I felt confident having my cat in their care, and intend to make them my regular vet clinic. It's also a relief to know they are open 24 hours a day, so there is always quality care available for my fur babies.

We used to take our dog here since we saw such great reviews! We have moved vets since they allowed us to book a pet stay 2 months in advance and canceled 14 days before because they are temporarily closing their pet hotel. We visited the vet at a different place and they figured out what was wrong with our dog (a chipped tooth that got infected causing facial swelling) within 10 mins of seeing her versus 2 visits to WVH and no answers.

They have always helped us in emergency situations. I believe all of our animals have been there at leased once. There might be a wait but it is worth it to have your pets be seen by someone who really cares.

I found myself needing emergency medical treatment for my dog, Cash, and could not find anyone who could provide him the level of care needed. Finally I contacted Willamette Veterinarian Hospital- When I explained my dogs symptoms the extremely kind and efficient receptionist put me on hold and talked to the veterinarian on duty- they were full also, but knew my dog need to be seen and told me to bring him right away- we had a 2.5 hour drive. I was met in the parking lot and had a zero wait time. Because of COVID I waited in the car and was kept informed of their findings in a very timely, professional and compassionate manner. Cash spent 3 days in the hospital and the whole time I received multiple updates each day and was always welcomed to call and check on him. My calls were greeted with kindness and never once did I feel I was a bother. The care he received, the updates on his progress and treatment plan exceeded my expectations. The staff at Willamette Veterinary Hospital gave Cash a second chance and as I write this review, my precious boy is snuggled next to me comfortable and content and I thank, with all my heart, everyone at Willamette Veterinary Hospital for giving us this moment ???? We have used their emergency services twice and are so grateful for their care. Staff is very caring and sensitive, extremely nice receptionists, and the vets we have met have been exceptional. I wish we lived closer to them as we would take our animals there as their regular vet, but live too far to do that and as there is no emergency care in our community, are so gratetful that they are available. We highly recommend

DO NOT GO HERE THEY ARE EXTORTIONISTS. ITS HORRIBLY WRONG TO OVER CHARGE FOR SERVICES JUST BECAUSE THEY KNOW WE LOVE OUR PETS LIKE HUMAN CHILDREN ❤ Here's the story. My dog fell on its head and got a concussion. I was quoted at $1350 to "run tests" including xrays. I'm from Southern Oregon and thankfully needed to get back home to my savings account in order to access money since they require a deposit of half upfront. I declined service and took my dog to her local vet and paid $68 bucks to find out she was ok Go somewhere else

I had an emergency with my cat. He had blood in his urine. I was told by my regular vet to get here since it was an emergency. This was around 9am, they took HOURS to actually look at him and tell me what was wrong. I waited patiently in the parking lot and even asked if I could wait at home since they were taking so long to get back to me. By 3pm they said I could finally come get him, but they still weren't ready! I finally got someone on the phone at 4:30 and they said they could get him to me. I was originally told this whole visit would be around $250, I did sign paperwork to give him what he needed in case of an emergency. They called me and told me they would be giving him fluids and that would bring my cost closer to that $250. After the end they tell me the cost is over $400!! I have wait all day with horrible communication, in the parking lot in my hot car only to be misinformed to about the price and for them to jot even bring me my cat. I had to go inside just to get my cat,, I called multiple times,, was placed on hold for so long they would hang up and call me back over 30min later. I wasn't able to pick my cat up until almost 6pm! I would never have come here had I known this is what would happen. If this is your only option then go, but if you can go elsewhere, don't go here. While most of them were nice, they were obviously so disorganized that I had to wait about 8hrs just to be given lots of medication that I'm not quite sure is even necessary, plus my poor cat was ignored for hours! Don't go here if you can avoid it.

We brought our dear Tom Cat in on an emergency this week. They were sympathetic, patient and professional. Thank you for not making a horrible day worse. ????????

My pug rebelled to being on a diet by eating a “non-food” item! I was unable to get him into the local vet and called WVH. They took my information over the phone, were prepared when I arrived, and treat him successfully without surgery. I appreciated the quick response to our pets needs, consistent communication, and clear aftercare directives. Due to tests and the basic ER visit base cost I expected the total to be up to $1000. I was pleasantly surprised and the total was less than I had guessed!

My cat was runover by a car at 6:30 Thursday night. I found Willamette Veterinary Hospital on-line. We live on the coast, they made a place for us in their schedule at 8:30. Dr. Harmon had him stabilized, and getting fluids quickly. She gave us a plan of treatment, and updated us twice a day. Dr. Peterson operated on his hip Friday night and we brought him home Saturday evening. They sent us home with his medications and a follow up care plan. Squeak adopted us a couple of years ago and we are really glad to be able to look forward to his company in the future. He is home resting and taking his medication in his favorite food, Alsea River Chinook Salmon. jpr

We unexpectedly had to say goodbye to our kitty today and they were simply amazing. They show you empathy, compassion, and make sure you are ready as well as informed. The box they brought to us was adorned with fresh flowers as well as multiple paw and nose prints. We cannot thank them enough.

I brought in a neonatal kitten with a variety of illnesses, and the staff was absolutely wonderful. They have been working with me for weeks to diagnose every illness she had and seek treatment suitable to her age. The staff is kind and caring, and the vets are just amazing, going above and beyond for my little one. Dr. Charter specifically has been a miracle, chasing down every lead and following up with other vets to make sure we were on the right path. They have also been caring for my adult cat for years and she is very comfortable at the clinic and with the staff. The boarding facility is also really great, they have taken care of my adult cat many times. Great clinic, wonderful staff, excellent care.
