Have boarded our dog here multiple times over multiple days and we have no complaints. Our Shiba is always happy and healthy when we pick him up. Since he's still on puppy food, we bring our own food and they make sure to give him that. Overall quite happy with the place with affordable pricing.

One of the biggest issues I have with this business is that two dogs (Jet and Bull) have lived there for around 5 years since they were young puppies. Never going home and only being visited by the "owners" a couple of times. I don't believe you can say you care about the wellbeing of dogs and see two of them waste their lives in a kennel only going outdoors to stretch their legs for a half hour a couple times a day. It's heart breaking, and they are seen purely as a source of money because their "owner" still pays their bill. I'm heart broken for them, they deserve so much better.

Gina was very professional, super nice and great at communicating with us. She invited us for a tour and showed us the whole place and had so much information and answers to our questions. The staff was very sweet and had a great vibe with the animals. We dropped off our two German Shepherds for their first visit boarding for 4 nights. One of our Shepherds has had a history of returning home a little "sad" from boarding at other places, but he was full of joy and energy when we picked up our dogs after their 4 night stay. Our other German Shepherd who has been a little weak and frail lately also was full of energy and excitment when she saw us, so much that she was actually pulling on hrt leash. We beleive our dogs LOVED their stay at Boise Kennels and we will be sure to book with them again for future boarding needs. Thank you :)

I went to board our 13 month old dog here this last week and it was an nerve racking experience. The moment I walked in the odor was over powering, my dog did not want to even walk in. I would not recommend this facility to anyone. There needs to be a complete renovation as the facility has an extremely fowl odor and the kennels were not up to par. We didn’t end up using them for boarding and went somewhere else because it was so bad.

Great kennel stay for my Border Collie. My puppy did exercise twice a day and get a bath during her stay. I was traveling from Oklahoma to Washington state. This was a good kennel for my dog to stay out while we took a couple days to rest before we started traveling again. The new owner was very friendly.

Boise kennels is the best kennel service we have ever had for our dog. We have left him up to three weeks and every time we pull up he gets so excited. The workers are kind and attentive. Cannot recommend this enough!

I can’t brag on these kennels enough!! My three large dogs are so very well taken care of when they are guests; they get plenty of exercise and yard time, and they come home just utterly exhausted. The staff are super friendly and I truly appreciate the owners for the hard work they do. My dogs and I truly appreciate you all.

Our 1st experience, dropping off the dogs, one of dogs came back with kennel cough. Which went away after 3 days, no biggie. So, we tried them again, bad idea. They had our 2 dogs for 8 days, which is supposed to include, free exercise everyday, a bath, ear cleaning and nail trimming. They did none of the last 3, which makes me think, they didn't exercise my dogs, either. To top it all off, they lost one of my dogs, very expensive collars, with the tags on it. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!

Nice people and easy to schedule a stay.

Picked up dog after a three night stay. Smell of ammonia and urine is overpowering. Plus dog now has kennel cough. Disappointing and frankly disgusting. Lady who helped at the counter was very nice though

Great place to bring your dogs to be watched by highly professional caretakers! My family and I have been taking our dogs here for at least 20 years when we go on vacation, great place! We love that they have a swimming and exercise program for our dogs.

Boise Kennels have been good to our dogs as far as we can tell. They listen toour instructions. We take them there when we need to be out for several hours and don't want to leave the dogs at home. We usually have them bathed while they're there. The only possible issue is that the dogs seem very thirsty when we get them home. They drink and drink and drink. Other than that, they seem fine.

First time leaving our dogs there for the weekend. Our dogs seem very happy. Every person working there was very friendly and courteous.

These folks have taken care of our pets for years. Great people, very compassionate with your loved pets!

They are true dog people. Older dogs are well looked after and watched over for possible issues that come up. The owner has been in dogs for so long he prides himself in the live and care of his clients.

The dogs were happy and not stressed at all. The staff are all very nice.

We had to leave our young puppy for a week and Boise Kennels took great care of him! The owners are very kind and it is evident they have a passion for caring for dogs. Would definitely use Boise Kennels again!

Friendly, dogs like going, I have two GSPs and they allow them to house together. I like the independent kennel systems, well fed and cared for.

You will never find better pet parents than Mark and Sayuri Fretz, the owners of Boise Kennels! They have big hearts and an amazing array of experience in safely taking care of dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens. Mark has also owned champion show dogs for years, so he is a great resource for any level of questions that a client may have about their pet. But most of all, they go WAY above and beyond what they would be expected to do as kennel owners. When we had to be away from home for a longer period of time than we had originally thought, Mark and Sayuri took our pets from their kennel to the vet for health certificates. They also drove them to the airport and checked them in for shipping so that we could be reunited with Poptart and Muffins. We are forever grateful that they put the pets and owners' needs first above the business.We have taken all of our various dogs and cats there for years, and they all received exemplary care each and every time. The entire staff will truly love your pet as if it was their own :)

We brought our 2 dogs here for one night while visiting family. The moment we walked in should have been a sign to run because the smell was so bad. Picked our boys up next day and the smell was like they had been in a city shelter for a long time. Very disappointed and will never return. Stay away from this place if you can.
