In November 2021, I had my dog spayed at BVC by Dr. Maas and beforehand I was provided a thorough estimate. I had inquired about the laser therapy, which is an option, meaning not required. It was less than $20 and I was told it would help with inflammation and my dogs recovery. I’m super happy I decided to get the laser treatment on my dogs incision because right after I picked her up it looked like it was almost fully healed. There was no redness, inflammation, and I also think it helped with my dog trying to get to the area because she left it alone, didn’t seem irritated by it and it healed beautifully. Thank you BVC and Dr. Maas—You truly made Leila’s recovery easy and stress free! Unfortunately, I’ve had to take my pup in twice in the past week for two different issues and this is the first time at a veterinary clinic I feel like I am not spending an arm and a leg. They are super helpful and accommodating when it comes to more urgent matters. If you call first thing in the morning, they likely will call you back with their availability and try to make it work.

They have always taken great care of my pets. I have taken my dog and chinchilla to them and have had nothing but great experiences. Thank you!

They are very kind and if you explain you don't have enough cash to pay for everything they do their best to keep it on the lower payment side. And they are very kind to the animals. They also call the week after a visit to make sure your animal is okay.

I have had several pets seen at Bend Vet, and have never worried once about their care or been left with unanswered questions. We have been there for everything from vaccinations to minor and major surgeries as well as end-of-life care. The vets and front office team are kind, helpful and very responsive to our needs. Highly recommend ????

My dog probably wasn’t impressed but I love this clinic.

We have 2 Shelties who don't mind marching in for checkups and vaccinations! The vet techs & the vets have been down on the floor, meeting our dogs at Their level. Both dogs are a bit overweight & they addressed that issue and are willing to track the dogs weight on a monthly basis at no charge! We like That idea! Great place for regular checkups and emergency care!

They don't offer urgent care, despite claiming they do! Three times in 6 months I needed to bring my senior dog in for urgent care (severe vomiting, dog bite, bloody stools). All three times they said call back tomorrow (24 hours later) to see IF we've had any cancellations. THAT IS NOT URGENT CARE!

Front office is rude and unprofessional. Should hire employees with some communication skills that can answer questions clearly and respectfully.

Moving to Bend during Covid times with an elderly kitty who was dealing with multiple health issues was not easy. The staff at Bend Veterinary Clinic, and especially Dr. Hoffman, provided exceptional care for our little guy and helped us throughout this past year to navigate the end stages of his disease and life with grace and respect.

This is not a place to take cared for animals. Vet Miller was very abrasive and invasive with our animal. He is a nervous dog and she did nothing to comfort him or us. She continuously made jokes about sedation and how “people don’t like these meds, but dogs love them”. Pretty odd comments to make to concerned animal owners. Unprofessional to say the least. Lack of consideration was the most upsetting. I will never return to this place and will tell anyone I know, not to utilize their services. Zero stars is more appropriate.

Everyone is so nice, the cost was really reasonable. They really care about your pets.I drive from Prineville. I'm happy they can see ferrets, I had to take my ferret there for surgery and they took really good care of her. I highly recommend them.

Great experience with the Dr. As well as the technician.

A couple weeks before this particular visit we had to say goodbye to one of our cats. We have been taking our pets to Bend Veterinary Clinic to 10 years and they have helped us say goodbye to 3 of our pets. Everyone there is always thoughtful, understanding and respectful. They are by far the best Vet we have ever had.

I brought my cat in for the first time recently. Our first experience was amazing! The vet tech, I wish I could remember her name, seemed very compassionate and kind. I felt heard and felt like everything was explained to me very well. My cat actually had an allergic reaction to a vaccine, which is very common for her because she is allergic to a lot of things. I called the next day when they opened and they told me to bring her in and they immediately got her in and communicated everything with me from the car because I had my kids with me. I would highly recommend! Great care and staff!

I called because my dog was experiencing diarrhea. I was told that they would check my dogs stool, but if they found something they would not treat my dog without a check up. They next available appointment was 5 weeks away. I said… “so if you find a problem with my dog she will have to wait 5 weeks for treatment?!!” . They said this is correct, I said I will be finding myself another care provider for my dog. VERY UPSETTING

The is not a good vet. If you want a professional well managed vet I would not bring your animal here!!!!

First visit at the clinic for routine annual checkup for my Yorkie. Efficient and caring service both for my dog and how I saw them caring for others. Lovely Doctors and Staff who genuinely appear to love caring for animals. It's wonderful to have a clinic where a visit is not a scary experience.

We were visiting from out of town and our lab got hurt, they were able to help us same day and treated him and us very well.

Had an issue with my dog and as always they found a way to squeeze her in as they tend to be booked up for a week or two. They are caring and responsive! Thanks so much for your Great Service!

I highly recommend Bend Veterinary Clinic. Dr. Bryon Maas is the best Vet I have ever used. Dr. Tabatha Johnston is amazing. I am sure all are great but these are the two I would recommend. The front office goes out of their way to help you as fast as they can. Tyler, Jesse, Jessica and Sarah is who I have dealt with and are friendly, caring and help anyway they can. The Vet Techs go out of their way to treat your fur babies like they are their own. They also help make you feel better when you can’t be in there with your fur baby. Jamie, Bailey, Sarah, Victoria and everyone of them that I can’t think of their names at the moment are awesome. I can’t thank each one of them enough. Trigger absolutely loves everyone of them. I think the pricing is reasonable. They have specials that help you on popular things your animals need. I can say enough great things about this clinic. You won’t find a clinic that’s as compassionate, knowledgeable, friendly and loves animals as much as they do. I will use this clinic and recommend them for the rest of my life. I not only have the privilege of working here but got first hand experience of just how compassionate our staff is. Last week my 11 year old Boxer started having troubles breathing, upon putting him on oxygen and taking ultra sounds and x-rays, we found 2 large masses. 1 on his heart and one in his spleen. Upon talking with Dr. Miller, I knew the right thing to do was to let him go so he would not suffer. The Dr and the staff gave me my time to say goodbye and treated him with care and compassion upon his passing. We at Bend Veterinary Clinic truly care for your pets.
