We dropped our stressed out rescue, Ginger, off at Ryan and Mandy’s for a 3 week behavioral adjustment program and she came back a much more obedient and less distracted pup. The trainers had the time and skills that we didn't to help Ginger learn. They updated us regularly, would send us pictures of Ginger doing well and they were thorough in their handoff and took the time to teach us how to continue Ginger’s training. We're much more confident with Ginger and would highly recommend this program if it can help your pup too! Thank you Ryan and Mandy!

My dog Arlo and I had the privilege to work with Nate in Off Leash K9, we decided to do the two week board and train and to say i was impressed is the least i can say. When we picked up Arlo after the two weeks and you could instantly see the improvements Nate was able to make with Arlo. The thought of leaving my dog with a stranger is unsettling to me but Nate made it the most trusting process with constant communication and updates on my pupper. I would hands down always trust not only Nate but the standards the company has with the well being of my dogs. If you’re looking for a good reliable and effective training that is worth every penny, definitely consider Off Leash K9 Training!

We rescued Chara, our Staffy/boxer mix when she was very young. We are used to boxer energy, but bringing the Staffy terrier mix into the picture, it was a completely different story. So much energy, and anxiety. The anxiety would appear aggressive at times when encountering other dogs on walks. She’s 1 1/2 now and strong/strong-willed. We reached out to Off Leash K9 Training and learned about the 3 Week behavior program with Ryan and Mandy and decided it was worth a try. The idea of leaving our dog with strangers was hard, and I worried about whether she would get the cuddles and affection I know she needs. We got a chance to speak with Ryan, who was so reassuring and obviously excited about getting to know our sweet girl. It was hard to drop her off, but we felt good about the program. We got lots of updates and pictures, and when I started to excessively worry about her halfway through the program, Mandy was so kind and made me feel much better. The pics and videos helped us see her progress. We went to pick her up, and before we got to see her, got a chance to learn and experience the E-collar ourselves. We went through all the commands, got comfortable with the controller, then we reunited with our girl, and did some more practice. Bringing her home, we’ve realized that we will have to practice and train ourselves more in order to help her be at her full potential, but we’ve seen a big difference already. Through pics and videos, we’ve seen exactly what she can do, and as we are getting more comfortable with the commands, Mandy and Ryan have assured us that “she’s already got it down. Let her show you!” One of the best things is that we have our training partners on hand to help guide us through any struggles we might see. They have checked in and given encouragement. Highly recommend Ryan and Mandy and Off Leash K9 Training!

We are extremely thankful for Off Leash K9 and their trainers. Cassie was amazing and we are proud of our Oreo thanks to her. She was constantly giving us updates. We couldn’t be more happier with the end results. Oreo was treated with love and care as he was their own. Thank you for being the best of the best. We will definitely recommend Off Leas K9 to others and if we ever need their help again we will not hesitate to get in touch.

Penny is a 11 no old Catahoula mix, from Texas, we chose the 15 day and stay, Angie worked with penny and progressed beautifully. I would give offleash k9 a chance to train your dog, you will see a difference.

We now seem to have a completely different (and improved) dog! Our 80 pound rescue now acts like a refined gentledog. He seems to be very proud of all he learned. I highly recommend this training.

Ahlea did a great job training our extremely energetic 7 month old labradoodle . We were amazed at what she accomplished in the short 2week training session . She was professional , articulate and took time to explain her training methods . She showed a genuine care for our pup. We would highly recommend her. Elizabeth D.

Our baby boy graduated college yesterday! ????❤️ For real, Off Leash K9 Training and our trainer Angie have been amazing. Atticus is doing so good without his leash, even with distractions! I could not recommend them more. From the time we met our trainer to the time we picked him up from his last day, we didn’t ever worry that he was well taken care of. Angie was the absolute BEST! She was so accommodating with our busy schedule, and never once made us feel uncomfortable or silly for asking tons of questions, even after hours via text. Every time we’d pick Atticus up in the evening, she’d give us an update on how the day went (she also updated us with pictures through the day), how he did, and what we should be practicing that night at home. One of the coolest things to see was how well Atticus bonded with her! Not only would he get SO excited to go to “school” every day, but sometimes I would arrive early to pick him up and without her knowing I was there, Angie would be snuggling with him and giving him tons of love and kisses. Needless to say, I could not have imagined a more wonderful experience. Angie is a freaking dog whisperer, and the owner Trish would even stop by sometimes and talk to us and answer our questions. All around, I wish I could give them more than a five star rating ⭐️. Note: We did their new “day and stay” program for 3 weeks. If you check prices and they seem high, take my word for it - it’s worth every single penny. They even do a free consultation, are honest and straight to the point, and will make a solid recommendation.

I liked everything about the training and the way Whitney handled.it. Trudy is responding real well. I think Whitley did a super job with her.

Was searching for the right trainer for my 9 month old Female Belgian Malinois - Masha. She was very dog reactive and people reactive as well. I was concerned about her seemingly aggressive barking at everything! I was afraid to take her out in public, not knowing how to teach and handle her. Nate understands and has experience with the GSD/Belgian Malinois breed's behavior and attitude. We booked a 2 week board and train, worth every penny! He took amazing pictures and videos of my girl and kept me updated on what they worked on ever step of the way. I can tell he loves the GSD/Malinois breed, he treats them with love respect and discipline. Nate helped me handle my girl correctly. Picked her up today and I can see the difference. She didn't bark or react to people on the car ride home. He teaches essential doggy manners. There was also time for play and to simply just be a dog. I would highly recommend Nate any day! 10/10 in my book. Thanks again Nate! ????

We sent our 8-month old Golden Retriever, Ginger, for a 2-week board and train with Whitley. She was absolutely awesome with Ginger. She was communicative and sent lots of videos for our family to watch her progress. Ginger came back to us a different dog in all the right ways. She is calmer, listens better and has a solid grasp on the new commands. The training program works! I would highly recommend Whitley and the program in general if you are looking to help yourself and your pet.

My husband and I were hesitant about putting our adopted stray 1 yr old mixed malinois pup into board and train, but we are very thankful and happy we decided to do so with Off Leash K9 Training. Nate worked with us and he did an absolute amazing job and went above and beyond. We could not ask for a better trainer and are really happy we ended up with him. He was patient with us and made sure to address all of our questions and concerns before we handed our dog to him and he made a really good effort to resolve issues we wanted to fix with our pup. We went from having the most hyper not well behaved dog to the most obedient well behaved mannered dog. We could not believe it and are immensely pleased with the results. Nate was very responsive and sent us lots of updates. We could tell our girl had a blast with him and was treated well. Our girl used to pull consistently on a leash and we had no control of her, but now we are able to walk her on loose leash and off leash just fine and are able to have her listen to us. We are much more confident with our dog and owe it all to Nate(thank you so much again!). Highly recommend to anyone who is on the fence about this. Best, T & M

My family sent our dog to Myriah and we love how she sent us lots of updates and photos while he was at the two week board and train. Myriah was excellent with our dog and patient with us, as we learn and asked many, many questions. Very professional, but seemed to love her job which made it very easy to trust her to take care of our dog.

We sent our dog Kimber to Whitley for the two week board and train. The whole time she was with Whitley she did amazing at keeping us posted on her progress and giving us updates. We just picked her up but the dog we picked up is already so much better than the dog we dropped off! Very pleased with the results and Whitley was extremely helpful with questions and was a delight to meet and work with!

We chose the two week board and train for our 11 month old lab Liberty because she would live with the trainer. We didn’t want a training program that had her in a kennel for most of the day while several other dogs were being trained. We have never even boarded one of our dogs let alone sent one for training but after raising a few labs we knew we lacked the knowledge and consistency to properly train Liberty. So we took a chance and invested in this training program. I figured it was worth the expense if we get to enjoy the results for hopefully the next 14 years. We are very happy with the process and results! Our trainer, Cassie, sent us updates, photos and videos every day without fail. Her progress was AMAZING!! She sent us pictures of Liberty with her dog and cats in her living room cuddling on the couch (we told her we allow that) so we knew Liberty was well cared for. It was a huge relief to see Liberty wagging her tail and obviously very happy in the training videos. Since Cassie has cats at home we got the extra bonus of having Liberty cat trained! We gave Cassie a list of places and activities we wanted to share with Liberty and she sent us videos of her being trained in those locations. Cassie also met up with other trainers and their dogs to train for distractions. I could go on but will suffice to say that we highly recommend this program and this trainer because they offer a valuable alternative to the standard programs. We’re thankful for the opportunity to send our dog to Off Leash and Cassie!

We enrolled our 11 Month Old French Bulldog in the 3 Week Day Boarding Training Program in Salem, Oregon. It was worth every dime! Angie, Trish and Cassie did an amazing job. We tried to go the "Positive Behavorial Training" route first, but soon found that no matter how many treats we used they were no match to the fun of chasing the neighbors free range chickens. I was very skeptical of using an e-collar, worried it would make her scared of everything. My husband found Off Leash K-9 online, after doing some research we decided to give it a try in the hopes it would save the chickens and our pup from any deadly encounters. From the very first interaction they wanted to know what our pup needed to work on and what here everyday activities looked like and what were her challenges. They geared her training around her chasing livestock and recall issues. They did more than train our pup to follow commands, they helped her learn to control her urge to chase chickens and other small animals. We can actually walk her off leash to the neighbors to play with their Lab Pup and she completely has no interest in the chickens at all. They worked with her to Recall, Place, Come and Heel in real life situations with lots of distractions. It was great getting video clips and still shots of her training each day. My favorite video was a day at the Farm in the middle of the Chickens and Goats. They showed her so much love she truly enjoyed being there every day. At the end of each week we spent an hour with the trainers going over the commands and how to use the e-collar. They did demos and had us actually do the commands. Since Tula Rue's graduation from training Angie (trainer) has checked in on her several times, way more than we expected and greatly appreciated. We recommend them 100%!

I have a 1 year old rescue lab/heeler/unknown mix that we took on recently. He was never professionally trained and had obedience issues; (chewing everything in the house, pulling on leash, etc. and the most amount of energy I've ever seen in a dog). I immediately started researching dog obedience companies that had positive reviews and evidence of positive results. I ended up choosing Off Leash K9 Training. Trish, Angie, and Cassie were all a part of his training and I couldn't be more impressed with their level of service. I was able to be involved in the training and learned so much. In addition, each of the trainers were so genuinely nice and personable I ended up really enjoying my time with them! And so did our dog, as evidenced by his tail wagging with excitement to see them. By the end of our training as stated in so many other reviews my family have all commented on how the difference is easily noticeable (walks on leash to the left side without pulling) aka "heeling", knows "place, sit, off, drop it / leave it" and is so much more of a manageable and lovable dog (nothing chewed / destroyed in the house:). My dog leery husband has already warmed up to him and insists on only the best of dog treats! I cannot thank Trish, Angie, and Cassie enough for educating me on how to help him become a loving addition to our family. 5 STARS ACROSS THE BOARD!

I worked at BG Food Cartel and observed day in and day out, the abuse of dogs. I want people to know this when making a decision to pay several thousands of dollars to leave your dog with strangers. I witness yanking, anger toward the dogs and of course, shocking, of the dogs. They will tell you that it's not a shock but it is. An electrical current is a shock and when a dog doesn't know where it's coming from, it's pretty scary, they just want it to stop. It is pure laziness to default to this approach. I saw tiny dogs shake their heads in agony and pain. I urge you to find positive based training. Negative training can have lasting trauma and no dog deserves that.

I had the best experience with Myriah and my adopted chow chow! My chow is a wonderful fluffy ball of stubbornness and Myriah was persistent and patient with her. We did the 2 week program and I now have confidence in my pup off leash, her recall and manners (not feeling anxious about her is a life changer). She’s still got her sassy personality but respects and listens to me, which is exactly what I had hoped for! The training was great for me to be able to continue these great habits at home, furever! My pup and I are both very happy and less anxious, it’s wonderful!

I was thoroughly impressed with the professionalism and results of this program. Nate was amazing. He gave me updates throughout in the form of photos, videos, and oftentimes daily breakdowns of how our GSD was doing. The amount of training he fit into 2 weeks is nothing short of remarkable. I appreciate most that this doesn't seem to be "just a job" to him, he took a genuine interest in our dog and took great care of her. She seems like she LOVED being put to work as well! Thank you so much for everything!! Our feisty girl absolutely loved her time in Bend training with Nate.

Our girls, Cashew and Quinn had such a great time with Mandy and Ryan during their 2 week board and train! I loved getting daily pictures and updates about how they were doing. Both our girls learned SO MUCH in such a short time. They were both already good dogs but bad pets at times. Ryan and Mandy really took the time to train each of them and they came home with a solid understanding about the commands. I never thought our Shepard would ever “Heel”. Walks have been so much more enjoyable! Thank you both, so much! For taking such good care of our babies and teaching them so well!

When I first met Nate, my family and I could hardly imagine the no leash training with the outcome seeming “too good to be true”. The first day back after “Lena’s” two week training session and I’m walking my dog INSIDE the Salem Lowe’s! She was perfect and remained calmly in a down stay while I searched the aisle for items. Wow!! Everywhere I go people are remarking on our GSD - often when their leashed dog is ferociously barking at us - as we calmly weave through people, dogs, cars, and cats. Amazing! I realize that the investment is not inexpensive but I personally challenge you to envision how gratifying your world becomes with a wonderfully trained dog. Nate, please accept my thanks (again) for helping me realize a dream.

Beyond thrilled with the results! Our 11 month old Lab/Pitty mix just completed his two week training with Myriah of Off Leash K9! The two week separation was rough but we were given daily updates that included pictures, videos, and breakdown of what was done that day and how he was progressing which helped a lot. We now have the tools to help communicate with Trigger what is expected of him to help alleviate the issues we were experiencing with jumping on people, leash pulling, and the proper way to deal with situations when he became skittish. Our boy had such a very rough start in life which is why we wanted to make sure he really got the best of the best in regards to training and it appears that is what we got. Thank you Myriah and thank you Off leash K9!

Sage is doing beautifully at home. She slept in the crate fine last night. We went for a potty walk this morning, she did heel really well, and come takes a few stims bc she's busy sniffing. She also did extended place on a rock and at home on the rug. Sage has learned so much in 3 weeks and we have learned so much in 3 hours! Thank you both for all your hard work! Keep up the good work! ???? Lisa and Lon.

Whitley was the best trainer to work with my puppy. She was loving and patient, helping Lolli feel at ease and open for learning. Whitley was very knowledgeable about the program and dogs in general. She responded quickly when I called or texted her with questions. I would highly recommend her and the program if you are considering training for your dogs.

We sent Jackson, our 10 mos old lab, to Ryan & Mandy very much a spoiled baby who typically had his way with us. After completing the two weeks board/train, we picked up a much more mellow, calm dog who actually listens to us now! We spent time on the phone beforehand with both Stephanie and Ryan, who both answered all our questions and reassured us that all would be well. Jackson is our third yellow lab and much more rambunctious and defiant than either of the other two. He is a sweetie, but not only chews everything, but eats many non-edibles as well. By the age of 6 mos he had made 3 trips to our vet to upchuck various non-food items. He pulled on the leash and lunged at everything the wind blew along the way. He jumped up on counters to steal food, towels or whatever caught his interest. We are well into our retirement and my husband who has Parkinsons, has mobility, balance & strength issues. We needed our dog to listen to us and comply. Ryan & Mandy were able to do this for us! Now that I'm trained on the equipment & commands, Jackson and I spend time daily practicing. We're still working on "heel" as he wants to walk ahead of me; and on "load" as he will not jump into my SUV like he did Ryan's van. My SUV is much higher. But we're working on both. Everything else he's doing very well with! I've let him off leash in our neighborhood field; he does sit/stay; down/stay; place; & come consistently. At home we're using "place" while I cook and we eat; he knows now to automatically go to his place and wait patiently until we're done. We use "leave it" & "off" a lot; and he listens! We've had dozens of dogs over the years; and have never sent any of them AWAY for training, so I was quite nervous about this. But once we met Ryan and began conversing with both he & Mandy, we could tell how much they cared about the dogs entrusted to them and felt confident that Jackson was in good hands. Thanks for taking such good care of our boy and teaching him to become a better version of himself. We appreciated the updates and pictures in Jackson's album while he was away. Jim had researched multiple training programs and was sold on Off Leash K9; we're very happy with the results. Janis & Jim

After two weeks of living and training with Sheryle, our puppy has returned a changed dog. She now follows all her commands yet retains the fun-loving, zestful personality we love. Sheryle sent us numerous videos of our dog’s progress so we could watch what she was learning. We were impressed by the many situations to which our puppy was exposed and expected to behave appropriately. The session during which Sheryle trained us in how to live and work with our pup was very helpful. Sheryle is very positive, patient and encouraging with people as well as dogs.

Ryan and Mandy are AMAZING and i wouldn’t have chose anybody else. My 2 year old male German Shepard is such a good boy these days. If it wasn’t for this program and the outstanding trainers, we would be abusing one another still. LOL. Such a great investment and i know he was in the best hands. Do yourself and your pet a favor and GET THEM INTO SCHOOL. THIS is your sign. SO flexible with my time and the communication was great. I was updated almost instantly about how my pet was doing when asked OR just about every other day on their behalf. LOVE IT. You can really tell these guys love what they do.
