They said the cat was in perfect health but when we got home she wouldn’t eat. We took her to the vet and turns out she has jaundice and may not make it another month.

Wonderful people here. We adopted a precious chihuahua who stole our hearts!

they discriminate against pit bulls

They helped my daughter when I couldn't she ran out of food for her furbaby and they were more then generous thank you Wichita humane society.

We paid $220 for a puppy and she was a sick puppy and passed away. We got a New Puppy on September 13 and was told we did not have to pay, for Faith. I gave them a $25.00 donation + the $100.00 deposit.

Friendly staff and easy adoption process

We have taken in several rescues. Some from the Humane Society. We have spent a fortune caring for these animals. We have called to surrender them back and are told that they can't help because they have no room for large dogs. Do not foster a dog from them. They are worse than a father who doesn't pay child support. These dogs are going to the other shelter ASAP. The worst experience in my life ????

This is a great shelter and they have a few pups that need some homes. C'mon people! Adopt!

Worst place to adopt. I understand they pay for spay and neuter and microchip. But dang a cat should last longer than 3 months. Took cat to vet and had to have him put down. Called them asked them to do another adoption at half price for my daughter and was told absolutely not. Well that’s one less cat that would have had a loving home and spoiled. Carol I think was here name was rude about the whole situation. Beware you leave the place and it dies that night to bad you signed the contract as I was told.

There is not a more caring and motivated staff of employees. Finding forever homes for all animals.

They found my cat that was missing for 8 months

I don't know about them I was trying to get a cat your a kitten they didn't have any kittens

One of the saddest places I have ever been. I love big dogs. Big dogs are treated badly. They are outside without food and water in the sun with no protection . The dog I adopted is a Great Pyrenese and they don't do well in the heat. I asked if the dog was good with kids...they didn't know. I asked if he was good with other dogs....they didn't know. I asked if he was food aggressive....they didn't know. What they did know is if he didn't work out I could pay 45.00 and bring him back, this after paying 165.00for him. He is a wonderful dog and thank goodness he is a good fit for us. I would not have taken him back there. They don't have the time to care for the animals but they do have time to congregate in the office and go out in the shade to smoke.

Can someone explain to me why thousands of complaints have been made against Cindy Miller and the board of directors has done nothing to amend this situation I no longer live in Wichita falls but I will be reaching out to the media and I'm kind of like a pitbull when I latch on I don't let go very easily!!!! I hope this post is not deleted I have a way of finding out just so you know God bless be safe let us all get through these times together

Cheryl super easy to work with & truly loves dogs n cats.

We took bleach to them to help out. Cheryl gave us a tour and answered all the questions we had. She was very helpful and does a great job out there. When its time for us to get a dog, we will be adopting one from here. They can always use bleach if anyone is interested in donating

Because they are the true innocent ???? ones,,our God given companions that will love us unconditionally.

Adopted a puppy with parvo...that was close to death. when I tried to talk to the owners about it I was greeted with attitude and basically that it was my fault and they knew nothing about it, BUT was told another puppy from that litter died from parvo?? If you wanna adopt a pet please don’t do it here.

Adopted this girl today. Staff was very kind and efficient. We brought our skittish one in so they could meet and the whole adoption process went more smoothly than I even expected.

These guys are amazing and truly want the best for all the animals they take in and care for
