We love Banfield and they have been so wonderful with both of our dogs. We have them insured through Banfield and we're extremely happy with them.

I've always received good care and fast service from Bandfield however within the last few years or so the quality of care has severely depreciated. I took my dog in because she was limping. They took xrays and told me that it was a torn ligament and required surgery. The only place that they could recommend was the emergency animal hospital instead of another small animal hospital. We found different small animal hospital that agreed to repair my dogs ligament. When we took my dog in I explained to them that she had been seen my Banfield on 71st and needed that procedure. Banfield sent over her records and recent xrays of the leg. Upon inspection by the other vet he told me it was not a torn ligament but osteosarcoma. He was appalled (and so was I) that the veterinarians didn't catch this when they preformed their xrays on my dog. After that I decided to switch to another veterinarian. When I took my cat in for yearly exam at another small animal hospital. The staff at the hospital told me that my cat, that I have owned for 2 years was in fact a male and was intact. When I took my cat to Banfield for their first check up 2 years ago I admitted I was unsure of the gender and I would like them to be identified and have either a spay or neuter done. Banfield told me the cat was a female and they scheduled a spay for it. They called me after the surgery and told me that the cat had already been spayed but they still had to charge me for the operation. My cat has been seen by the veterinarians at Banfield for 2 years, and has been seen by MULTIPLE staff members and not once have they caught on to the fact that it is a he and not a she. I'm very disappointed in the care that they provide to animals at their hospital and I will be telling everyone not to go here. Please save your time and your pets life and see a real veterinarian.

They took my baby and helped him cross over the rainbow bridge, they allowed me to go back and hold him while they did their job. After I received an amazing card from the staff expressing their sympathy. The package I bought to have my baby cremated and remembered by, and when i received it I was more than pleased. It was so beautiful. Banfeild will have my business from now on because of how wonderful they were. I am so thankful to them.

Took care of my dog when she woke up covered in hives for an affordable price. I got my visit free with a first time coupon.

I really enjoyed my visit here today. The front desk lady (I wish I got her name) and the doctor who saw my kitten were great! I was able to get her diagnosis and medication quickly so I could get her home and feeling better asap. Very happy.

They have never been the cheapest, but the vets were great for us. Now the vets are still great but some of the front desk people are rude, unhelpful, and have the personality of bowling balls. Bring in a kiosk and I will gladly check myself in. Sad it has come to this. I will greatly miss the vets but I would rather not have to deal with the front desk.

I wish I could give 0 stars because that’s what they deserve! I brought my dog in the other day for vomiting and diarrhea, before my dog was even seen he was recommended some expensive pancreas testing. I went ahead and told them to do the test just to make sure everything was okay, they did fecal and bloodwork as well. At the end of his visit I was told all was well with only dehydration coming up. I went home and after analyzing results for myself I realized there were multiple abnormalities in the chart that weren’t brought to my attention and that he had hookworms. They said medicine was administered (on the very last page at the bottom) mind you none of this was brought to my attention instead I was talked down on and told that it’s a problem my dog eats homemade dog food. I asked many questions, asked if there was anything abnormal, is there any other weird thing that could have caused his symptoms, she said “well it may be something that he ate or it could be sensitive stomach”. All this to say instead of my questions and concerns truly being heard and acknowledged I received ignorant comments about my dogs (natural homemade) diet, attitude and a lack of knowledgeable information. I won’t be back to this location I am furious at the fact that my dog having hookworms was not addressed or brought up once and they lied to my face about his results. This has resulted in more vet visits and longer irritation for my baby boy so to say the least I’m pretty upset and disgusted by them!

I have to start this review by saying how positively wonderful everyone on the staff at 71st is. They have always provided my babies with the best care and I am so appreciative of their team. I would like to specifically praise Dr. Yang, she is a brilliant DVM and I have utter faith in her abilities to treat my precious babies. Now, let me digress; I rescued my second cat on New Year's Eve and I lovingly refer to Mr. Butters as my problem child. In the four months he's spent at our home he has visited the vet EIGHT times (the emergency vet twice) and has been diagnosed with both Epilepsy and FLUTD. His first visit (for a traumatic head injury from a dog attack) the staff convinced me to sign up for the Banfield Wellness Plan. Now I'm generally the person who refuses any and all upsells, but I caved and bought the plan outright. Thank god I did, as I genuinely believe the plan has saved poor Butters' life on multiple occasions. In fact, if you have a chronically ill pet, I cannot recommend these plans enough. I have never paid a cent for Butters' blood work (a regular necessity with his Epilepsy) or appointments. He regularly visits to receive intravenous fluids after a seizure or as supportive care for his FLUTD and I only pay $22 for these fluids during these appointments; without the plan each of these visits would have been $265. I really cannot recommend these plans enough; they are a literal lifesaver. I will end by adding my other cat, Harley Quinn, is also on a plan. Luckily, she is completely healthy, but she does receive all of her preventative care through her Wellness Plan, including her yearly dental cleaning, vaccinations and biannual wellness exam. However, my anxiety over the health of my pets has decreased with each visit to this hospital. I know if Harley Quinn ever needs intensive medical treatment like her brother, Banfield and their team will be there.

They are nice, and the wellness plan is cool for the routine shots and preventive things, but if you need things such as an x ray or certain tests, your on your own. They do offer a discounted rate, still paying a monthly fee I feel more should be included.

The vet is nice, sure, but that's where the good points stop. I do not at all appreciate having to shell out hundreds of dollars every single visit for the same issue. Their representatives are pretty aggressive about having you enroll in their pet insurance with reassurances that it can be canceled easily, but after months of unhappy visits, I call to cancel and am informed it will cost $200 to cancel before a full 12 months. I have never, ever been so disappointed in a vet before and now feel hostage to their membership expenses. I would definitely encourage anyone that loves their pet and values open honesty to look elsewhere for treatment.

Dr. Yong is great. Fast, profession nal, caring and thorough. One of the front desk ladies likes to count out her drawer about 5-10minutes early each night-and wont sell prescriptions afterwards. Prices are a bit steep. Those are my only complaints.

I would like to thank Dr. White and Dr. Yang from the very bottom of my heart. I can not even explain the care and compassion they have showed me and my fur baby. I have had to go in several times within the last 3 weeks when my Siberian Husky became very ill, which came on very sudden. Needless to say, office visits, testing, medication and even a biopsy is not cheap but both doctors worked with me and understood it was a situation where I could not wait to get in. I am still waiting on results, still a lot of unknown, still very upsetting watching my girl be so sick but I know with all my heart that both of these doctors are going to do everything in their power to make her better and that you can not find anywhere else. My opinion is Dr.White and Dr. Yang have a heart of gold and they are definitely in this business for the love of animals and the want they have to make them better. I will never be able to thank them enough for the love they are showing my girl.

Called to complain at customer care line. I was told the office manager would call me back. I called again today and was told the office manager left me 2 messages. That's a lie! No one called me. They refuse to give me my pet's records. I have a recording of this. Will be reporting them to the Oklahoma State Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners. I just printed off the complaint form.

How much praise can you give a place when they save your dog's life? That's the positive outlook I have of this hospital because they did so much for my German Shepherd (Bear) when he ate a stuffed animal and had it stuck in his stomach! He couldn't eat, poop or get up and move around! They saved his life! When we took him to the emergency hospital it was 3 am Monday morning. We left a VM with Banfield to let them know to call us when they opened and that we were taking him to the emergency pet hospital. The emergency hospital was going to charge us a crazy amount to give him the surgery and with his age of 11 years old he would likely not make it through. We were in tears because we couldn't afford it and that is when Dr. White (AKA Dr. Bolt) called and asked what was happening. She told us to bring him in asap because she could do the surgery and for a very reasonable price! After the surgery we had to leave him for a day and then keep taking him back. We weren't sure if he would make it but it's been months since this happened and he now rolls on the ground with his 8 month old gsd brother! Hopefully you won't have to go to this place for the same emergency I did, but YOU won't be disappointed if you need to go to this Clinic for ANY reason! We took Bear here long before this happened and loved them and then his little bro. Sadly we moved out of state but I wish I could have moved the hospital and everyone there with us! Thank you to everyone there that helped us and a special thank you to Dr. White! Bless Veterinarians and everything they do for all the animals in the world!!
