Generally speaking, it was okay. I wanted specific gold fish. The associate assisting me was doing so until a rather rude associate came over and very rudely said he wasn't allowed to do so. Now, if I understand anything, it would be policy and procedures. However, nothing about the situation warranted the associates rudeness. I did tell him that I understood if picking a particular fish was not allowed but asked him if he could speak nicer to people. His tone was much nicer when he said sure.

The employees weren't very knowledgeable on the animals for sale. As a result. There wasn't any paperwork on my bird. I have no idea on age or gender. There was paperwork on all the other birds.

I am disabled they always ask me how they can help as I am entering the store and they always carry my things to the car when I'm finished shopping. Thank You Stillwater PetCo. ALWAYS HELPFUL. JANA

This place has all your pet needs or somewhat but still a good place and pets welcomed.

I have bought two birds from this location. Mostly because I feel terrible for them in their tiny plastic environments and lack of other birds around. Both of the birds have been severely underweight. This is a huge issue when you are spending a lot of money on an already overpriced parrot because it opens up health issues. The last bird I bought there was over 10g under weight when I got her. Within 30 days she exhibited characteristics of kidney issues and I took her to the emergency vet who recommended hospitalization. I had an appointment for the next day at the Vetco vet so I declined and took her there due to their policy of medical coverage within 30 days. However, they didn’t cover it. The manager didn’t even speak with me regarding the issue even though I had previously talked to an employee over the phone who said they would. What is even worse is the vet sent me home with no diagnosis which ended up being a huge problem. I have now been to the osu vet which saved my birds life after she has been hospitalized multiple times. The worst part about it is that I knew better than buy a pet from a chain store as I have other healthy birds from ethical sources but I felt horrible for that little parrot hopping and seeking attention. I don’t regret that I got her as I’m sure I saved her life (albeit at huge costs to me) but I wish that they took better care of their animals and knew anything about exotics. I haven’t stepped foot in that store since her life was saved and I will go out of my way to avoid it for the rest of my life.

If I could give there groomer a zero star I would. Do NOT bring your dog here. They did an absolutely terrible job grooming my poodle by giving him a schnauzer hair cut. I could have done a better job myself and saved $100.

To be honest, not much to complain about. Everyone is nice and the grooming service was cool.

Staff is very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. They also do the price match with their online store.

Well stocked on everything I needed. Great customer service, and they tented to all my needs for my pets.

We go to Vetco here. They take really good care of him. When he is super anxious they have a spray that can calm cats down so they spray it on his towel that I bring him in with and he is so calm. They have helped him with his UTIs. I think they are reasonably priced for vet care. They also take CareCredit and they have a Petco card you can also apply for. I use the CareCredit to pay for all his vet bills which helps pay it out. He is super calm in the photos that I have attached. You can also buy the calming spray in Petco. I think it was like 30 bucks. But it's worth it. I will keep going back.

They were very friendly, very helpful.

A lot of the employees are incorrectly educated on the animals. More so the exotic ones. Also it is upsetting the lack of safe substrates for the beardies and leos. Calci sand is not safe for baby gecks or beardies. I know saying this won't change the way you run, but just know, because of the poor education on the animals and the lack of proper care items, the only reason I shop here is because it's the only pet store near me.

This location has no clue what any of their rodents need environment wise. They dont even know how old their animals are. The guinea pigs they have on display are apparently "full grown", but they are the size of a 3 or 4 week old guinea pigs. Very small. Not nearly the size it's going to be once grown. They suggest you can house a guinea pig in a tub, which is completely wrong information. I really wish they cared more so they give out actual good advice.

They didn’t have everything I was looking for. They were in the middle of a huge restock though and everyone seems distracted. The guy who helped me with the snails was super friendly and helpful!

Bought a fish here to put with one I’ve had over 2 years and the both died less then a month later. Never bought from Petco before this incident and never had problems. Don’t recommend.

Don't ever take your dogs or your cats or any animal at all for that matter don't ever take them in there the store clerks were is rude is rude could be I didn't even purchase anything in that store I literally just turned around and walked right back out they were so rude and nasty and hateful to me because of my dogs
