Dr. Simon triaged my puppy for a transverse fracture. I was so appreciative for being seen at such a late time in the day, and Dr. Simon told me to contact him if I had any questions. That is where all the wonderful care ended. To begin, Dr. Simon never, nor the staff, asked if my puppy was on any medication. Thus, the prednisone my puppy was on together with the Rimadyl injection given by Dr. Simon caused vomiting in my puppy the following a.m. It took several attempts for Dr. Simon to reach me due to the settings on my iPhone. While talking back and forth with Dr. Simon's staff about the failed telephone attempts, I was contacting vets offices and emergency animal hospitals in an attempt to arrange surgery for my puppy. I understood Dr. Simon to say that my puppy should not go past a week without receiving surgery. Well, as it turned out, every vets office and emergency hospital I contacted was booked way past a week. I was, however, told by a local emergency animal hospital that my puppy would be moved up the waiting list if my vet were to call and talk with their critical care department. So, when I first talked with Dr. Simon about the drug interaction, I was told to take my puppy off the prednisone. However, I was instructed by the vet specialist that prescribed the prednisone to wean him off it, so this was not an option. I did not feel that my puppy’s vomiting concerned Dr. Simone when I was bluntly told that he had triaged my dog, prescribed medications, provided me with three places to contact regarding surgery, and that that was all he could do. When I told Dr. Simon of my conversation with the animal emergency hospital, Dr. Simon was not willing to contact its critical care department, stating that it never answered the telephone. Thereafter, I contacted the emergency animal hospital to ensure that Dr. Simon’s call would be immediately directed to the critical care team. I then contacted his office but got a message back stating: “I cannot do anything until I return on Tuesday.” When talking with one of Dr. Simon’s staff, I stated that if my puppy goes past a week without surgery then it becomes critical. I further went on to say that the animal hospital has assured me that Dr. Simon’s call will be immediately directed to the critical care department. Soon after Dr. Simon calls me. This time, Dr. Simon is not only blunt but talks to me in a very rude and disrespectful manner, telling me not to call and bother his staff anymore, again reminding me that he has done everything he can for my puppy, and went on to say that I misstated my dog’s condition as being critical to one of his staff. I told Dr. Simon that I understood the situation to be critical if my puppy’s surgery went past one week. Perhaps, there was a breakdown in communication. However, Dr. Simon was quite aware of my hearing disability and that I wear hearing aids. I personally feel that Dr. Simon lacks patience and understanding for elderly people with hearing disabilities. I won’t be taking my animals to the Warwick Animal Hospital.

Warwick animal hospital has been great! All staff, groomers and Doctors have been so kind and compassionate. My dog passed away from a brain tumor several years ago but they were always so sweet to her and wanted as little stress as possible. Now I take my mother and my grandmothers dogs in and will continue for all of our family pets!

Highly recommended! I have taken three different cats to Warwick, and feel like they have gotten the best care available. They legitimately care about your pet(s), take the time to answer your questions and make sure you're informed, and I have never felt like they overcharged me. I trust them completely because they've earned it.

We’ve been bringing our 4 animals to Warwick for a little over 5 years now and we couldn’t find a better place if we tried. Friendly staff, very clean environment, excellent grooming services, and knowledgeable doctors. My dogs actually get excited to go to the vet and they love Dr. Vazquez. She genuinely cares about my “ kids” and always has the right answer. I have referred several people there over the years and they have the same sentiments. Hands down, the best in OKC!

We are new to the area and needed to get our dogs shots and heart worm meds. Very nice staff. They were able to get us scheduled quickly and work around our work schedules.

I had to take my dog to the vet for bloat, they got him in, spent 3 hours in the car waiting to find out what needed to be done. Paid 1300 up front for an ICU stay. The next day they tell me he's good to go home. I go up there, (it's during quarentine so I'm in my car like a good girl) and I call to check him out. Get to ICU, they tell me to talk to the front desk. Call the front desk, they answer with "Is it an emergency?" I said "I'm here to check my dog out." They then put me on hold for 10 minutes, and then hung up. I call back, they pick up and hang up. I had to call back twice to get someone on the phone, who then told me "they'll call me back" it took over an hour to get my dog!!!
