Friendly professional veterinarian, Dr. Steve Hunholz is excellent.

Good service, fast, and fairly affordable.

The initial visit went ok. My dog had a general check up and screen for dental cleaning. Half of the usual vacs weren't given, because "they aren't necessary". I was told dental cleaning was not possible because of lab values, which I never saw the results. A few months later my dog stopped eating and I was given a "recipe", which made her so sick that I had to take her to an overnight hospital. This clinic's followup was poorly managed. They provided two different name brand kidney safe diets that she wouldn't eat and I was left with no feedback on what else I should do to get her to eat. I went back for an evaluation and she was given a hydration packet and I was given the same "recipe"....REALLY. That was the end of my interaction with this place. Thankfully I've found a much more professional and caring vet that took the time to explain lab values and had several varieties of kidney safe diets. So glad that she is eating now and put back on the weight she lost. Word of advice, when the vet can't provide interventions outside of the box...it's time to retire.

Reno Animal Hospital takes great care of my kids!! I can take them for boarding, grooming and medical care. Prices are reasonable.

I would recommend this Veterinarian to anyone. He has a great love for animals. The girls that work with him are very helpful.

DVM Hunholz has always been a great vet and veterinary surgeon. We are so glad we found him by him actually being our customer first at APS Automotive.

1100$ in 45 days on One animal and now told my pet is 100% better but just picked her up from a surgery 30 min. Ago..What about the other 3 visits that were MisDiagnosed Dr.Steve is washed up there other Vet diagnosed and found this obstruction and ordered surgery 7 days after Dr steve diagnosis was Oh its just a UTI.....Thank you to the other VET AND THE Staff

Dr. Hunholz is such an amazing vet and I am so happy that I found this place. He was so kind as I dealt with my terminal ill cat and everyone in the office was so sweet. So professional without coming off as cold, I will never go to another vet again. Thank you all so very much.

Friendly Staff and I loved the Dr. She was so nice to me and my wife and our cat Odin (female). Because of Covid they do all checkups and vaccines in the back now instead of in front of you. The Dr. really loved my cat and said she was starching her head along with a staff member and put my cat at ease while doing everything and said my girl was loving the attention from them. I highly recommend them and will be back!!!

Amazing folks, my dog's (3 Great Pyrenees) are big baby's! We live 40 miles from Reno Animal Hospital, I am sure there are closer vets but I do not mind the drive due to the fact that my dogs are taken care of. Love the service I will continueto use this vet.

They take such great care of your animals and always take the time to explain what care your animals need. Great people and always friendly.

I've been to a few vet clinics in the past , some were dirty and others would break the bank , but this place is Clean , prices reasonable and the Staff is Amazing as well as our Vet

Dr. Hunholz is so sweet and compassionate with our animals. They almost always make room for us when Larry has again, gotten into something or gotten hurt. We've used them for years and love them!

This is a very friendly vet. He treats your pet with care and is very sure of his abilities. We went because it is close to home but we got lucky with the place. Staff is very friendly.
